Great communication from Pawel our driver . Really friendly and the medal at the end was a lovely touch. Thank you Pawel
Great communication from the driver Pawel and well organised. The only negative I have is the use of paper targets as they were so far away you couldn’t really see whether they had been hit . The metal targets were better .

You have to visit this place when you are in Krakow
everything was well organized and the instructor was great. We received a good explanation of how to operate the weapons and were also given plenty of time to shoot them.

    Good an friendly service
We had a Friendly taxi driver (Pawel), And we had some good contact with him about the pickup place so it was very easy to find. We also had some questions about restaurants and things to do in Kraków and he send me a couple options for that. So all by all its was a nice company to work with.

    Brilliant All Round
Pawel our driver was brilliant, very friendly and helpful. The overall experience was fantastic. From correct time of pick up, to the shooting experience, which in itself is like no other. I went for the top package, all in with 100 bullets. You can pay more afterwards to use other guns not in your chosen package. Pawe! gave us a large can of beer to finish off the experience and drove us straight back to our hotel. Brilliant, brilliant, what more can I say.

    Fantastic service!
Pawel was our driver for the tours for Auschwitz and salt mines. He was absolutely fantastic!! We got messed around with our tours and he went out of his way to help us with Auschwitz told us what blocks to go and see, 100% recommended him, also sent me some recommendations for restaurants and places to go but we ran out of time so when I come back definitely ask for him ! Thankyou

    Busy and fun day out!
We were booked on this day trip as a part of Journee, it was such a good experience! We were picked up from our hotel and whisked to the day of mountain adventures. Patrick was our guide and was friendly and clear with his instructions. The travel from Krakow took a few hours, but there were some fantastic stops and views on the way! With a great vodka and cheese stop with an exceptional mountain vista! When we got the mountains, the village was traditionally ski town with lots of vendors selling things. Taking the vernacular up to the mountain was a great experience and the views from the top were gorgeous, with activities available. On the route back to Krakow we stopped off at the hot pool baths. Don't be fooled by the outside. Inside is full of different spas and pools, both indoor and outdoor! It was a fantastic way to end the day trip.

    Super Fun
Definitely put this on your list of to dos in Krakow. It was a blast. I chose the 50 round option, but wish I had chosen the 75. 50 was just enough to wet the appetite.

    Shooting range experience
We found our trip to the big gun shooting range a very enjoyable time and would highly recommend when coming to krakow. All the instructors there were very helpful and explained everything well. Our transport organised by them was very well run and on time at collection, Pawal in particular was an excellent pilot/driver!

Loved the spa and pools. So many pools spas and water slides. The resort was incredible and definitely worth a visit. The locker system and availability of gowns and towels etc is very helpful for overseas visitors. Highly recommended

    A grand day out!
We had a great trip - Pawel, our guide and his colleague the driver were absolutely great. They were responsive to our questions and requests. Pawel was extremely patient when trying to herd a group of middle aged ladies through the turnstiles of the funicular railway and dealt with humour our troubles with technology and bar codes. The views from the mountain were spectacular. We then went to the thermal baths which was the highlight of the day. Swimming outside in the thermal pool was truly magical! Would recommend for this experience alone!

    Pawel is the best!
We were collected promptly by our driver Pawel who was fantastic. He was friendly and informative. He drove safely and the journey was enjoyable. Pawel ensured we had entered ok before leaving us and as we were short of time he told us the best parts to see to get the most out of our tour. Pawel took us back to our hotel door.

    Superb salt mine tour
We were collected promptly from our hotel and taken to the Salt Mine. Panel was so friendly and informative. He ensured we entered the venue ok before making arrangements to collect us afterwards. The salt mines were fabulous and we had a great guide who spoke perfect English with humour. When we finished our tour Pawel was waiting exactly where agreed. Fantastic tour.

    Absolutely amazing trip
What can I say???? Absolutely amazing trip from start to finish. Booked the trip the day before we wanted to go, received a message later in the day of Pawel (the driver) telling us what time he would be picking us up from are hotel, what vehicle he would be driving and everything we would need for are trip. He arrive on time, was so polite, really down to earth, explained to us what we would be doing, rough time scales on the trip and told us about his own experience of him doing the trip. The shooting range staff were so nice, explained and demonstrated how we used the gun a the correct ways to hold and fire them. They were by are sides when firing the guns to make sure we were safe. So worth every penny we spent on the trip. Couldn’t fault anything. Pawel (the driver) then on the journey back to our hotel help us with information on good places to visit while in krakow ie, bars, restaurants, trips. Our first time visiting krakow an we so enjoyed it, will be going back next year 😁. Thank you

Absolutely amazing experience of a lifetime from start to finish. Very helpful instructors who put my nerves at rest. Pawel, our guide, picked us up from the hotel and was extremely helpful throughout our whole trip, answering any questions we had, going above and beyond what was necessary. We we will definitely be contacting him to arrange our next visit.

This trip is one of the best we have ever experienced and would strongly recommend it.
Our tour guide was Szczepan (Stepan) and he would very friendly and knowledgeable and allowed us time at each stop
Our first stop was to a traditional Polish Shepherds Hut were you are shown how they make the smoked cheese and the importance of sheep for the area - you get to sample the cheese and a quick shot of liquor to compliment it
Then we stopped at Zakopane itself where you got on a cable car to the Gubalowka top and the views are spectacular!!!
You have 2 hours here to view the top and you can stay there with a restaurant and enjoy the views or come back down and walk into Zakopane centre with a market and plenty of shops and restaurants.
Then onto the hot springs which are absolutely amazing - bathing in warm/hot water whilst looking out at the surrounding forest covered on snow at the time of our visit
Overall an amazing experience and something we would definitely do again and strongly recommend
Be careful as if you take a cheaper trip they don’t always go to the hot spring or the cable car

Hello, Thank you for your kind words about this tour. All our guides enjoy spending time with our guests and being able to share this beautiful place with them (to share their knowledge about Kraków and surroundings.). We are very pleased to have been able to host you . It’s rewarding to know that we’re doing things the right way. I will pass on your kind words to Szczepan so that she knows that you have enjoyed your time with her so much. Hopefully you have plenty of reasons to come back to Krakow and see us again in the future. Kind regards, Sonia

Starting off with hotel pick up, you then get transferred to another, bigger minibus. We stopped off briefly to stretch legs then headed to taste some smoked cheese and vodka. Lovely, the views are amazing, the vodka is lovely and the cheese.. I'll let you make your own mind up.
We then moved on to zakopane, our guide was thorough and gave us all the info we could need. We took the train up the mountain, if your British, prepare to push your way, queuing like we usually do does not work lol!
The views at the top were out of this world. Truly breathtaking, the little huts were nice, although just selling souvenirs. We stopped off for some mulled wine before heading back down into zakopane. I could have tootled around there all day, but we didn't have long left before the thermal baths. We did stumble into the nicest restaurant where we got pizzas bigger than you could imagine and the most lovely service. The people in zakopane are lovely! We then went to the swimming baths. It's lovely, but a bit all fur coat, no knickers. I reccomend the lazy river as that's the best part, hands down. The cafe afterwards was very cheap at 12zl for 4 beers, make sure to ask for syrup as this transforms it!
All in all a wonderful trip, the only slight negative I would comment on is getting on and off the larger bus. This excursion is advertised as for all abilities. As someone with hidden physical disabilities I could not simply get on and off and had to rely on my partner to get my poorly leg on the step. Definately not dignified, so I would advise the operator to maybe get a caravan step to decrease the 2ft step up.
However our guide was so lovely waiting for me to get on and off and nothing was too much trouble.
You MUST do this if you can, it has made our holiday and we would reccomend.

We can't wait for you to visit us again! Kind Regards, Julia

Well worth the money and great way to spend the day if you don't have much time in Krakow. Tour operators kept us up to date with pick up times and locations. All tickets as part of the tour were included in the price of the trip such as the railway and the baths. The tour operator was basic he let us know where to meet him and what time and how long we had ect but not much more than that. The first stop is a small cluster of huts on the outskirts of the mountains where you can try some local cheese and vodka, we were just let off the bus with no direction of which hut to go in to get these testers or any information about the cheese which turns out is quite localized to that region, to add the first stop after 1.5 hours of driving - no sanitary toilets! There is a whole in some wood covered in pee, so lay off the fluids until you get to the railway stop! We had two hours in Zakopane and that was stunning, we visited later February and there was still snow covering the top. The thermal baths were great way to finish the day. Total trip time approximatley 11.5 hours.

We were collected by the bus right on time at 9am and began the journey to Zakopane. Our guide John provided entertaining commentary throughout the long journey, as well as accurate information about the duration of our drives. First stop is to try some highlander smoked cheese and my only regret is not buying more! The cheese is absolutely delicious and the quality and price being sold at this point will not be matched anywhere else on your Zakopane adventure. Then we arrived at Zakopane and the views are fantastic. Beware, it is quite slippy so be sure to pack some suitable footwear for this part of the trip. John was also kind enough to share some restaurant and dish recommendations, which we tried our during our free time. Then, we went to the thermal baths which were lovely. Very crowded the day we went however, this did not detract from the relaxing ambience created by the 3 pools, especially seeing the snow and feeling the icy air on your face! Then on the journey back you get snacks and a drink. A fantastic day out!

We looked at reviews of this trip before commuting. All good and they were not wrong. We had an amazing day.

The first stop we sampled smoked cheese and lemon vodka. Absolutely lovely.

We then went up the mountain on a cable car. Fantastic views. Take a camera with you.

From there we boarded the bus and headed to the spa. What a wonderful way to relax for a couple of hours. There are several pools all were great. Incidentally they are all accessible from inside so you don't have to run around outside in a bathing costume ;-)

We then were provided with refreshments on the trip home.

I think Alan our guide deserves a special mention. He kept us informed and entertained the entire time. Loved the jokes 😂😂

Hello ChrisIsaac, thank you for leaving a review of your day out to Zakopane. We are very pleased that you had such a great day. Our goal has always been to ensure that our guests are looked after throughout their time with us. It is especially nice to hear that we have achieved that. The cheese and vodka sampling are a very popular part of the tour (even with our guides!) which is a nice way to give some insight into the local culture. The mountains provide a beautiful backdrop, which The Hot Springs do provide an excellent opportunity to relax at the end of a lovely day out and so it is nice to read that you have enjoyed them so much! All our guides love to share these things with our guests in their own way, Alan will be pleased to hear that he has contributed to your experience so positively. We hope to see you again one day, if you ever return to Poland. Kind regards, Dave

This was a brilliant experience, really magical at Christmas. Richard and Sebastian were really hospitable and went above and beyond to keep us happy. Just a few things that let it down were that at least half of the trip was spent travelling in mini van. We did take breaks for toilet and drinks. However I found the travel time excessive and exhausting.
Would highly recommend for the experience but bare in mind you will be on a mini bus for 5 plus hours.
Also it is not 6-8 people as advertised, you will be crammed into a hut with about 60 people to eat a piece of cheese. Our mini bus had around 20 people on it. And we were joined by other tours at times.
I was expecting it to be a bit more private and exclusive for the price.

100% would recommend if visiting krakow for a couple of nights, the overall tour itself lasted about 12 hours but felt like it only lasted a couple of hours! Our driver John was an excellent guide and helped if we had any issues. You get approx 2 and a half hours free time in Zakopane which is a small but lively city and around 2 to 2 and half hours in the thermal baths. Although it was freezing out the thermal baths really hit the spot and we didn't want to leave!

From the evening before our trip our tour guide Alan was fantastic and communicated with us really well. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy throughout the day. The mini bus was comfortable and had WiFi! Alan also provided water and a breakfast snack. We stopped on the way at a traditional house and cooked cheese to eat with cranberry which was really tasty. Alan explained all about it which was interesting and we got some great photos. Then we went to central Zakopane to the markets and up the cable car. We got lots of free time to explore and at the top of the mountain we went tubing which was fun! The views from the top were breathtaking, the snow made it look so pretty! There are lots more stalls and a few restaurants up there. We then went to the thermal spa which was lovely and warm. Quite busy but it's big enough not to feel cramped. Sadly, only one of the slides were working and also if you want to go to the saunas I must mention that you have to be naked! This wasn't clear to us before we entered but you scan your wristband to enter so we got charged for it. Luckily the lady working on them let us keep our towels on. We got 2 1/2 hours in the spa which was a good amount of time. Then we travelled back to krakow and Alan dropped us outside our apartment. He was very pleasant and couldn't have been more helpful. I would definitely recommend this tour, it was a lot more personal and exclusive than the other tours we did during our stay in krakow. Also I would definitely recommend going in the winter, it's so beautiful with all the snow!

This is most definitely a worthwhile trip to take while in Krakow! We weren’t sure about going so far away when on such a short break but it was 100% worth the journey ! The views are stunning. Breathtaking. We had 2 hours free at Zakopane where we were able to go on the snowmobiles once we went up on the cable card (paid for ourselves). They were amazing! So fast and so fun. We were also able to go snow tubing. The thermal baths were wonderful is well. Surrounded by snow! Beautiful! Our guides name was John and I think he made the trip! He was extremely kind and helpful throughout the day! He answered all our questions and was lovely to chat to. He also gave us fantastic dinner recommendations for Krakow! If you get John as a guide then you are really lucky !! He was lovely and enthusiastic!

This really wasn't our cup of tea sadly. We booked this for the Sunday of our trip to Krakow as something light to do after we had been to Aushwitz etc. I have to say we were rather disappointed on the day after seeing all of the 5 star reviews. Its a 2 hour drive on a small mini bus with not much room to the first stop, which is a small shot of vodka and a piece of cheese in a hut that you leave stinking of smoke, the facilities are a wooden shack with a hole. Back on the bus then for 20 minutes up to Zakopane which is a small market and each stall sells the same things. You are given 2 hours there which is far too long and freezing cold. The views are beautiful and there are some places to eat, my advice is to stay inside a restaurant and take in the view. Back on the mini bus then to what looks to be a local leisure centre with a heated indoor and outdoor pool. No disrespect to the gentlemen that ran the tour but not worth the money in our experience. There is so much to see and do on Krakow in hindsight we should have spent the extra day in the city.

Dear Kristy, We are really sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your trip to Zakopane. Our guests' satisfaction and safety are our top priorities. Zakopane is a city that is located around 100km away from Krakow. In the trip you have booked we already included the time we spent on the drive to Zakopane and back to Krakow. Our company has the newest cars and buses to make our clients feel as comfortable as we can. What's more, we always provide them with all the information they need and we are open to answer any questions you may have. Our trip to Zakopane always enjoys great appreciation from our guests and that's why it's our bestseller. Not only do we take you to this beautiful city, but we also offer a lot of options and attractions you can take part in. When it comes to the Hot Bath Pools, what can I assure you of is the fact that the terms at Bukovina Thermal pools are real pools with many benefits of thermal water. They may not look as impressive as you imagined them to be, but that's only because of the hygiene rules. Once again, we are really sad that you didn't like our trip as much as you wished for and we hope that in the future we will be able to make your experience better. Kind regards, Ada
