Chopin is Poland’s world famous composer, mostly famed for his piano pieces. The pieces are beautiful to listen to, yet technically challenging to play. This venue in Krakow is small and intimate, with world class pianists delivering a great experience. You can sit just a few feet away from the piano and watch the artist’s fingers weave their magic on the keyboard. My wife and I booked up and sat near the front, listening to a dozen or so piano pieces, played by Paweł Kubica. Beautifully played and mesmerising to listen to, this was a thoroughly enjoyable evening at a very decent price, given the exemplary performance. Even if you don’t listen much to classical music, it’s a worthwhile experience. Highly recommended!

From the elegant central setting to the beautiful playing of many of Chopin's classic piano compositions the hour flew past and I loved every minute of it. The acoustics of the room were perfect too. I was new to Chopin and now I am converted!
And forget whatever others say, the complimentary wine that you receive on arrival was lovely too, a glass of cool semi-sweet white.

This was for me one of the best experience I had in Kraków. Even if you aren’t familiar with Chopin, I do recommend this. I really liked the repertoire which contained music from the film ‘the pianist’. The host was very kindly and you’re welcomed with a glass of wine. There were only one other couple so it felt like a private concert for me. Definitely worth the money!!!

In my short stay in Kraków this was the best thing I’ve experienced.
The hall is gorgeous and highlights key parts about Chopins life via paintings. The host was really accommodating and helpful and the pianist was brilliant and had a fantastical interpretation of Chopin
It’s important to note that paying via their website, KrakowConcerts, the proceeds actually go to the deserving party as opposed to GetYourGuide

Roomy concert hall with around 80 or so chairs. Beer will cost extra, but wine is free and tastes great!
Brilliantly decorated with memories from Chopin's life and a huge Yamaha piano.
The Pianist was young but critically acclaimed and had won or placed highly in competitions all over the world. To see him play the way he did was awe-inspiring and breathtaking. He is truly talented!
The usher in the gallery was friendly and helpful and should be praised for his efforts, too!
If you are a classical musician or not, to hear Chopin's masterpieces in Kraków is a fantastic experience.

Wasn’t sure what to expect as it was my partner who really wanted to go to this, however I really enjoyed the experience. The pianist was absolutely mesmerising and the atmosphere of the gallery was really lovely. Some people were dressed very smartly, and others were casual so there was no actual dress code required but it still felt very fancy. The man at the door was really helpful and nice and they gave us a bit of insight into Chopin’s life before the concert began which was interesting. I found it very culturally enriching and relaxing.

Not mentioned in my guide book, but one of the highlights of my trip to Kraków. Central location tucked away up a few flights of stairs. Lovely intimate setting with a very welcoming host offering a glass of wine or beer. I ended up going to two of these recitals. The pianists were amazing and the music thought provoking. I did not know much about Chopin and his music before. I understand that different pianists perform each day with a different selection of music. I would highly recommend this as a great experience when in Kraków.

Lovely experience for a decent price tag! Upon entering the venue, we were greeted by the very friendly host Markus who had a little chat with us and offered us a drink. We received an outline of what would be played and then the concert started - I have to say I was quite awestruck! The pianist was incredible and the concert being so intimate brought the experience to another level.
5 stars for the pianist
5 stars for Markus the host ;)
For reference, my friend and I visited Thursday, 2 December.

World-class performances of Chopin in a quirky Krakow concert hall, just off the main square, dedicated to providing daily early evening Chopin recitals. The concert hall has links with the Academy of Music, and so both draws on some extra-ordinary young talent and also has the wider goal of providing young players with the experience of playing in public . Radoslaw Gozdzikowski was the pianist on one evening we attended. Sheer delight. This venue is an absolute must for any visitor to Krakow with an appreciation of classical music. We certainly intend to return soon.

A truly great experience! The venue is quite small which was very nice, one felt closer to the pianist which made the experience more cozy. The pianist Pawel was AMAZING! We are very very happy that we went and can gladly recommend it as something one must do when visiting Krakow!
