    Amazing views and much more
The tour was everything and more than we expected. Hubert, our driver and guide was both informative and a great guide. The tree trek exposed us to some amazing views of Slovakian mountain range bordering Poland. The next stop was the Zakopane mountains and ski resort. The views were equally breathtaking, however being peak tourist season it was overcrowded. "It is what it is".

    Perfect.
On the morning we had Malek (if I understood correctly his name). He was our driver and our guide in Auschwitz. He was an excellent guide. Very nice, just brilliant at explaining us History. In the afternoon we had Michael who was also great at making sure we were confortable. I highly recommend the tour and these two guides. Perfect tours.

Excellent day trip, but be sure to bring food
We had a fantastic day on our full day trip to see Auschwitz, Birkenau and the Salt Mines with our driver, Tarek. It’s a fairly full on day but very much worth the effort. The only big drawback for us was that we were not given time to get food, and it was not made clear in advance that we should bring our own food with us. We did not have the opportunity to book a packed lunch as part of the trip even though this was advertised on the website. There were frequent breaks throughout the day but these were only a few minutes each time to allow bathroom breaks. So by the end of the day we were feeling very weak and tired. But overall the trip was excellent and we would highly recommend it, just be prepared and bring a packed lunch and snacks.

    A good trip
Pleasant trip out of town to see the mountain range of the Tatra Mountains and then entrance to the spa. Our driver Hubert was really kind and nice, accompanying us punctually and kindly on the long journey and also making us taste the typical local products on the way back.

We wanted to do both tours in one day to leave time to explore the City. It is a long day but we felt the best way to do these tours, as it meant only one day away from exploring this amazing city. We are glad we made this decision, it is definitely doable if you don't mind a lot of walking. We have done numerous tours and whilst generally OK, I always brace myself for a long wait to be picked up and a slight feeling of being "cattle" for the day. So, was pleasantly surprised when we stepped out our apartment 10 mins early to see a nibe Mercedes mini van pulling up. We were a group of 6 transported to both sites where we handed over to local guides on site. The local guides are amazing and whether you want to, feel you ought to, I would say you Have to do this tour. I strongly recommend this company for this, they communicated via WhatsApp prior to the trip to reconfirm things and confirm exact timings, excellent vehicle & Most importantly the friendliest driver Janek who is a credit to the business. The journey time flew as Janek chatted about Poland, historic places we passed on the way and even taught me some Polish. (most of which I was appalling at, which made him smile, apart from one word i did master but possibly shouldn't have!!) Do not hesitate to book and if you are really lucky you may get Janek as your driver which is a real bonus. Janek, if you ever read this you are a credit to your strict Mother and have a skill set equitable with your brother who makes the satellites (the stupid one!) -THANKYOU! We did also use the firm for our transfers to and from the airport as they offered a quote when we booked this tour, again both drivers were early, friendly and efficient and reasonably priced.

Marek collected us at the agreed time, was friendly and made us feel comfortable. The transitions over to our tour guide once we reached Auschwitz was seamless, as was the transfer to Birkenau and then onto the salt mine.

Marek directed us to a nice and reasonably priced restaurant for lunch whilst we waited for the salt mine tour to start so we were well fed before the 3 hour tour round.

The salt mine involves a lot of walking (mostly flat) so you definitely get your steps in and is a beautiful place to visit.

We found the day to be well planned out and organised and good value for money - would recommend.

We travelled as a couple and only had a few short days to spend in Krakow so this trip felt the best fit for us.

It was a very long but really interesting day. Our driver, Wojtek, was a lovely, personable guy with loads of local information. He took care of us very well and during our break between Auschwitz and the Salt Mines he lead us to a delicious and well-priced restaurant that served huge portions and had pizza and burgers to die for!

Would definitely recommend Legendary Krakow and would use again when we come back!

They come to pick us up at the hotel door. Tarek the driver is very kind and funny, he suggested us what to do in the time off during the trip and took us to take a look at the city after the trip. Very nice experiences, the guide at the concentration camp was really prepared and engaging.
Only problems were that they changed the time of the visit only the day before, so we had to wake up one hour and a half earlier with no other oprion. The other problem was about the guide we got at the salt mine, which was funny but with very bad english, so he made it too hard to understand, but I guess this wasn't up to the legendary krakow organization.

The combination of the two trips is pretty tiring (physically meaning) because you have to walk a lot for just one day, so maybe you can think about to split it in two parts

Our guide Janek picked us up with car right outside of our hotel. I'm the car he interacted with us in a great and curious way. We had many good conversations on our way to the concentration camps.

In the campus there was another guide that showed us around and some about the concentration camp in a way so we all understood the horrors that had happened there.

After the two camps we where going to drive to our last stop, the salt mines. It was good to see Janek again and he took good care of us.

In the salt mines we joined a larger group for guided tours with a museum guide. We had a fun and exciting time exploring the mines. Our guide was filled up with good humor and sarcasm.

After the museum we drove back to Krakow. Janek have us allot of great tips on different museums, places to explore and good places to eat in Krakow.

Thanks for making our experience so good.

The salt mine was interesting and at times, impressive. The groups overlapped at times, making it more difficult to hear our guide.
Auschwitz and Birkenhau camps were poignant and thought provoking. Our guide spoke quickly and sometimes we lost connection with the sound so did not get all the information. However, both guides on each tour were knowledgeable and passionate about the subjects.
We chose a pick up from hotel option. This worked extremely well for us.

It was an amazing tour! Well worth the money paid. Picked up from main square and directly transported us to all locations. Driver Tarek did a good job driving, he was very on time as well as answering my random questions. He did a brilliant job looking after us during our day trip! Definitely will book more trips with this company in the future!

The driver, Piotr, was on time and very friendly. He gave us some recommendations for drinks and food in the town also. Piotr kept us up to date on the itinerary and escorted us to both our tours and ensured we knew where to meet, at what time, and how to get back to the mini bus. We chose to get picked up from our hotel and so glad we did as we only shared a mini bus with two other couples, whereas the mini bus for the meeting point option occupied 21 people. We would meet up with the other mini bus group for each tour, so groups are quite big. The mini bus itself was comfy, spacious and immaculately clean. Piotr provided big umbrellas for each couple when it began to rain, which was a great added extra.

We actually ended up going to the salt mines first (Piotr said this sometimes happens) and we are actually glad we did. We had half a hour break before our tour started so we were able to get a hot drink and use the facilities before the tour. The salt mines were incredible and definitely worth the visit. The tour guide was provided by the salt mine and was very informative and humorous.

The tour guide for Auschwitz was provided by the company and was very informative and professional. He guided us around the main areas of each camp, providing us with information as we went along. This tour is mostly outside so dress accordingly.

We did both tours in one day which worked for us but be aware that it is A LOT of walking and very emotionally challenging. There was time for a good nap to/from Auschwitz on the mini bus which was good considering the early start and tiring experience.

Overall, the driver and tour guides were amazing and it was very well organised. We will definitely book another tour with this company again in the future and will be asking for Piotr to be our driver.

Really great day trip. The trip was really well organised, had enough breaks and were taken to a decent restaurant for lunch, the bus driver was very friendly and even recommended what food was good. The tours were also very good, although external the guides were knowledgable. It was a long tiring day due to the early start but we were back at the hotel by 6pm so could still enjoy our evening. Would definitely recommend!

This was a really well organised trip, easy booking/confirmation etc, and we had contact in advance o confirm exact pick-up arrangements. Our driver picked us up from the hotel on time, in a clean, modern minibus which was very comfortable. It’s a long day of travelling, but so worth it. There were plenty of opportunities to have a quick break if needed. The tour guide we had at Auschwitz was excellent, my only slight niggle would be that sometimes it felt a little rushed, mainly due to the number of other visitors moving around the museum, so you didn’t always have time to stop & read some of the info boards fully etc. The visit to the salt mines was great, although be prepared for a very ‘cosy’ ride back to the top in the lift! Would definitely recommend this company to anyone, and would use again, thank you!
