About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- brookelaurenxx0 contributionsHighly RecommendHighly recommend! Jacob was an amazing host who was very knowledgable about ours trips. We did Auschwitz and Zakopane tour. We got picked up and dropped off at our hotel and Jacob even provided us with snacks on our trips which was a really nice gesture. No waiting on coaches or on other people it is simply just you and the driver which makes it much more personal. Jacob sorted everything out for us so there was no queuing as all tickets were already sorted and we missed all the long waiting times which meant more time to see things. Would definitely use again if we ever return to Krakow. Thankyou again!Written May 5, 2024
- LightPacker487850 contributionsHighly recommendedThis was an excellent overall experience. For me as a practising Catholic it was very meaningful, but it can expand anyone's horizons. Jacob is the best guide I've ever had, sweet and accommodating, allowing time for prayer and reflection, and showing all that is relevant.Written April 28, 2024

The transport was comfortable and the visit to Auschwitz and the Salt Mine completely met our expectations. I would certainly recommend Jacob to anyone, the whole day was a highlight to our trip.Written April 21, 2024

- Departure530064836450 contributionsYou must do this your if you’re visiting JP2’s hometown and Divine MercyIt was a lovely JP2 and Devine Mercy tour, made even better by a knowledgeable and accommodating guide, Jacob. He was patient, attentive and knew his stuff well. He very considerately prepared packed lunches for my wife and I. Highly recommended!Written March 13, 2023
- Spiritualsoldier0 contributionsUnforgettable experienceJacob was very well organized, had everything planned but was still very flexible when circumstances changed. Changes were very much to our advantage & he was a calm & considerate presence throughout the day. Also, he was a very cautious driver which we greatly appreciated. I enjoyed every minute of that day & will remember my time at Chapel of Divine Mercy for the rest of my life💕☺️.Written October 7, 2022
- Duser920 contributionsMust do in KrakowPicked up on time from our hotel. The tour was excellent and Jacob was prompt at each stop along the way. Snacks were provided as well which was a pleasant surprise. We also did the Salt Mine tour in the same so I highly recommend booking them together.Written September 29, 2020
- Utravelqueen0 contributionsexcellent day tripWe were picked up at our hotel and taken to Auschwitz and Birkenau. Everything was organized perfectly and worked really well. Jacob took excellent care of us, had water and snacks for us in the car, drove very safely, got tickets etc. and also explained all sorts of things during the drive. Thanks!Written August 8, 2020

- cvbroomfield0 contributionsDiscover Pope John Paul II: Complete Private Tour, KrakowExcellent Tour and Guide My husband and I were looking for a private tour that was flexible, tailored to our requests and had Catholic insight. Our guide, Jacob (Jakob) Szymański, was a humble fellow with beautiful Catholic insight who shared the “heartbeat” of Poland and its people with us. He demonstrated terrific customer service: responsive, punctual, courteous, kind and approachable. His smile, passion and knowledge created a relaxing and memorable day for us.We enjoyed the Tour: Pope JPII immensely. We are ever thankful to Jakub. The opportunity to expand this tour to include other sites was a gift. Whether you are looking for a historical/secular tour or one that includes a Catholic experience, we highly recommend this tour and Jakub or his colleagues. - joewH4545LO0 contributionsFantastic service and day outHad a great day with Jacob, he was very informative and easy going and made an extra effort as it was my girlfriends birthday to provide a surprise for us. Well worth the money and would highly recommend!!Written January 21, 2020
- martinphilip0 contributionsVery sobering - interesting - and necessary to do.We left the city at 8.30am and took the English tour - back for around 16.00. Jacob of Visitus looked after us and provided breakfast bags too :) So much horrible history to take in. I wouldn't recommend this for under 14 year olds which I think is the going age recommendation.Written January 19, 2020
- martinphilip0 contributionsAll went to plan - enhoyed the tour too.We left the city at 8.45am and took the 9.30am English tour - back for around 12.00 noon. Jacob of Visitus looked after us and provided breakfast bags too :) We enjoyed the tour.Written January 19, 2020
- martinphilip0 contributionsWonderful and looked after....THE BEST!Jacob of Visitus really looked after us on both airport transfers and tours to Auschwitz and the Salt Mine. So polite and punctual - breakfast bags on the tor days too.... Auschwitz tour was 8.30am-4pm ish with traffic and Salt Mine was 8.45am-noon. I really recommend you use Jacob when visiting Krakow. His prices I found very reasonable too and he sorted all of the entrance tickets so there was no waiting in queues.Written January 19, 2020
- Jc196500 contributionsNot to be missedJakub was the perfect person to organise our trip to Auschwitz. He picked us up at our hotel and drove us the 60km there. For the entire journey there and back I asked him questions about Polish history past and present. He was so interesting to talk to and I learnt so much from him. It’s quite an emotional tour but he made our tour smooth sailing and was there to meet us at the end. I was pleased to see his friendly face at the end and a warm car too. Would thoroughly recommend.Written January 17, 2020

De abdij is vrij toegankelijk en men is vriendelijk in het ontvangst. De catering is qua smaak en prijs prima doch logistiek een ramp. Van de andere kant is dit de heerlijke simpelheid die het hele klooster uitstraalt.
