    Brilliant organisation
Obviously a deeply moving tour so you don’t need hassle and aggravation getting there and back. Michael was highly communicative, friendly and organised everything perfectly for a private tour for four Thank you

Very moving but a must-see. Transfer made our visit smooth.
Auschwitz was a must-see on our list when visiting Krakow. It was very harrowing to see but I would say it’s something that everyone needs to do at least once in their life. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and I feel I learned a lot about the camps and how the victims were treated. One thing that we thought would make visiting difficult was the travel, but the private transfer sorted this concern. We were collected directly from our hotel and dropped back there too. It meant we didn’t need to worry about public transport, and as we were only in Krakow for 48 hours it meant we had more time to sightsee elsewhere as our travel time was less to and from the camps. Our driver also offered us the choice of purchasing a lunch box as the food choice is limited on site. I’d recommend this as there are only vending machines otherwise. It cost £10 per lunch box but it came with a sandwich, water, juice, fruit, a croissant and a chocolate so was worth the money. My only feedback was that the tour was quite rushed- I wish we had more time to properly take in what we were seeing as at times we felt we were rushed out of exhibits and it meant we couldn’t really process what we were looking at. I felt it lessened the impact of some of the exhibits. I think some time to wander round the camp outside of the tour would be valuable, as I wished I had time to simply just take in the camp and really reflect. Nonetheless, I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Krakow as overall I feel I learned more through the guide than I could have on a self-guided tour, and the transfer made the visit smooth.

    Auschwitz trip
Well worth the visit .Wiktor our driver looked after us really well from providing lunch box to organising times c our guide (Due to Que at Auschwitz we were taken to Birchenau first ). This avoided a long wait and enabled day to run smoothly Only small things would have made better ? Slightly longer for lunch and microphones at Birchenau like at Auschwitz

Auschwitz Birkenau tour with Krakow Direct
We went here today 9/11/23) with Christophe from Krakow Direct. We booked it online from the UK and it worked out cheaper than booking it here. We were picked up from our hotel at 6.45am. It was a 1.5 hour journey to get there but we watched a video about Auschwitz on the way which was very informative. Once we got there we had a quick 10 minute toilet/drinks break before our guide lines us up ready to go in. This tour should be done with a guide to get the best out of it. There is a lot of walking involved including steps in and out of various buildings. We probably chose the hottest day to do this which couldn't be helped but it did make it more tiresome. From Auschwitz we went to Auschwitz Birkenau which again was very informative and a lot of walking. I don't recommend this trip for children or anyone who struggles with mobility. This tour will leave you emotionally drained as it is hard to fathom that people can treat other people this way.

Excellent trip. Definitely worth the money.
Well organised and very interesting tour. Excellent, friendly driver. The tour itself felt a little rushed and, for an English speaking guide, the guide wasn’t very clear at times. Tour company arranged a lovely packed lunch which was worth the price. Wear good footwear as it is a lot of walking and some areas are rough terrain.

Overwhelming but a must see place.
Overwhelming experience as you would expect, we weren't blessed with good weather it absolutely poured down, but in a weird way added to the experience, The guided tour was informative but on a timed schedule, As I have mobility issues I struggled with the walking, It was at the groups pace and not my own so I struggled keeping up, You cannot help being overwhelmed by what went on here and feel very humble. The Tour guide fell over and hurt herself as the pathways are very uneven. It is a place of historical prevalence and looked after and preserved very well. There was so many groups and individuals walking around wanting to see everything they could possibly see in the time they were there so understandably it felt rushed and cramped, but it is a must see place one from a bucket list, just remember to be respectful when you visit and think back to the past and be humble.

    Heart-breaking but amazing
Overall Auschwitz was a great tour, as much as we don't want to describe the place as great due to the circumstances of history , the tour is not one to miss out on. We had a very helpful driver who texted us the day before with our pickup location and time - and also answered any questions we had prior. And an exceptional tour guide who was very passionate and amazing throughout. You could feel her pain throughout the tour and went above and beyond in telling us the history and even what present survivors had told her.

You can't visit Krakow without a visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau, it would be disrespectful. We were collected from our hotel on time in a mimibus with two other couples. The driver was knowledgable and gave us lots of information. We were taken around with a guide who was extremely knowlegable about both places and gave us all the information via our headsets as we went around. We went in February and it was still extremely crowded. We did feel a bit rushed at times. I found Birkenau very difficult at times as it is still very much as it was in the war. It is a very long day. We knew that there would be nowhere to buy food so had brought a packed lunch although there was no time given during the tour to actually eat it! It is a lot of walking, so wear good shoes. If going in the winter months wear warm clothes as most of the tour is outside.

It’s difficult to say we enjoyed this tour because of the nature of it however i can say that the tour was organised well. Picked up as promised from our residence and the driver/guide was fun and enthusiastic as well as informative.
The tour of the two camps had a local guide who spoke English which was good however she was quite quiet and we missed some info.
This did not detract from her deep knowledge and description of the horrors of the holocaust.

Tips for visitors, take only a very small ruck sack, a keepy cup and some lunch. It’s unfortunately a situation where huge visitor numbers means increased prices. And no food is to be consumed while in the camps. Toilets everywhere are charged at 2 zlote so carry some change.

All in all a memorable experience, very moving, but not a word was said in our mini bus on the way home. Never forgotten

This trip was something I really wanted to do whilst in Kraków. I strongly recommend booking with this company as I had researched thoroughly prior to booking. Everything booked through trip advisor was so organised from the message a few days before to inform of us of the pick up to time to the collection from our hotel reception. No tickets needed everything was taken care of. Our driver turned out to be the tour guide too for Auschwitz and he was so professional, informative and passionate around such a sensitive and important piece of history. Our guide was happy answering questions on the way and giving us useful background leading up to the events leading to 1940. He took time in every exhibit, we weren’t rushed and the day was structured really effectively so that we were back at our hotel for 4pm. Would certainly recommend booking with this company to anyone.

Our driver, Daniel, was polite and helpful. We were picked up from our hotel on time and as we went to pick others up he gave us a few recommendations for places to visit in the city. The actual tour itself was an excellent standard, our guide Pawel was extremely knowledgeable and delivered the tour with respect. At a small extra cost Daniel arranged a packed lunch for us which was lovely.

Anyone who has doubts about the Holocaust should take a guided tour here.
The atrocities of the sick, evil minded nazis is here to see. You would not think it possible that a human being could do this. It is a real eye opener and fills you with disgust, but also of the mental power of those who survived so that they could tell their stories to others in the hope it can never happen again. It is an experience that cannot really be put in to words. When we saw the rail track leading into Birkenhau the hairs on the back of our necks shot up. That is the reality of the place. Not a sound from anyone as they tried to take it all in. A Real Experience but not a happy one.

It is difficult to rate this experience because of the terrible history of what went on here. How do you rate a camp of mass murder. My wife and I visited in February 2020. It was a very moving and emotional experience when we learned the true nature of what the Nazi's did here. It is hard to believe the reality of man's inhumanity to man, a lesson that we should all learn from. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the details of what occurred here were respectfully conveyed to us. For us the impact of seeing the mountain of shoes, suitcases, prosthetics and the mass of human hair was very emotional. I think that everyone once in their life time should visit this museum / memorial to see why this should never be allowed to happen again.

Daniel was a friendly and service minded driver and made sure we met the museum guide. The museum guide was very thorough and knew everything possible to have time to inform during the guidings at the two sites.
It is very hard to visit these places but also very important. This company made it possible for us to get there and make this trip.

We were picked up by our driver David who was very informative. Our tour guide was excellent in the two camps. It’s a hard place to visit but I do feel that its a period of history that everyone should remember. Would recommend the tour. Unfortunately we were the last people to visit at the present time as all museums were closed the day after due to the corona virus.

Pawel was our guide, not only was he prompt and collected as per the message/email advised in advance but also was our driver too so we had the privilege of having extra time and opportunity to discuss further Polish history and its related politics.

Pawel is knowledgeable and interesting without being overbearing in his thinking, I very much enjoyed his commentary.

The trip was organised but really just a whistle stop type tour - please note, however, the camps are both vast and this is the only way to manage both with the volume of visitors.

Overall a great experience and I would very much recommend this tour.

Thank you Pawel!
