About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- petermM7779LH0 contributionsLift needs to be working!!!!We enjoyed most of our trip to the salt mine. The guide we had was very informative and the statues amazing. Although we were prepared for the 800 steps down and the long treks into each chamber when we reached the bottom my knee was starting to ache and I was so pleased to see the lift to take us up to the surface! We were then informed that the lift was not working so we will have to go to the next lift which was some way away. The guide must have known it was not working and should of given us a choice on whether to go so far down or not. We then had another long trek up and down more stairs and long corridors until we came to these tiny lifts. There was, of course a long queue which took ages before we reached the front of the queue. There were two little lifts one on the ground and the other one up another flight of stairs. I was in agony with my knee so when it was our turn one of the staff directed us to the upstairs lift so my husband said could we wait for the ground one, his response was a sneer! We then were put in a tiny lift which should accommodate nine people. There were seven people in the lift and two more trying to get in. The staff did not allow for the size of those people and still insisted they enter. We were consequently crammed in I could hardly breathe. It was not the best ending to our trip.Written September 22, 2024
- gpa660 contributionsSuperb! Unmissable. This trip is an absolute must for anyone who goes to Krakow (and I think everyone should!). This operator was absolutely superb. Worth every penny.Written September 11, 2024
- mikeandee0 contributionsBook it!Excellent tour. Great organisation, prompt, friendly, helpful. Very good guide. Got the balance of facts just right on an emotional visit. Be ready to walk quite a bit to see the scale of Birkenau.Written September 7, 2024
- Sara M0 contributionsInteresting, information heavy Schindler’s FactoryVery interesting visit, glad we booked tickets before we got there as the queues were long. Recommend the visit but not what we expected. We walked from the main town, it is a long walk but straightforward enough. Still enjoyed Schindlers factory.Written September 5, 2024
- J1805AOamandac0 contributionsAuschwitz tourMyself and my husband went on the Auschwitz tour which was of course, thought provoking and very humbling. The minibus that took us there was lovely and comfortable as well as being air conditioned which was very welcomed with the temperature being 31 degrees outside! Our tour guide on the coach before arriving at the camp was extremely helpful and very informative, giving us additional information en route, along with a very friendly driver. A must do trip to include in your itinerary when visiting Krakow…..Written September 5, 2024
- johnmW6070ZH0 contributionsHighly recommendHard to sum up into words as the trip with the guide was very professional. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that hasn't been. One visit is all that is needed though, I wouldn't want to return. Simple because what happen there. Tour and guide were amazing though.Written September 4, 2024

- amandao340 contributionsSalt Mine KrakowWell organised and pickup up on time, only niggle is that the time was changed. Took loads of photos in the Salt Mine, very impressive and coped with all the stairs even with my knees!! Very enjoyableWritten September 3, 2024
- karenjU963FX0 contributionsThe Auschwitz BirkenauAbsolutely one of the best tours we’ve ever been. Tour bus collected us on time and gave very useful information. Tour guide for both camps was absolutely amazing, not only knowledgeable but also put heart and soul into the information she provided us with. Highly recommend this tour, with this tour operator.Written September 2, 2024
- 348elizav0 contributionsGreat experienceTour was great, driver was on time and very friendly, the seating was very comfy and clean, the tour itself was very informative and we got to see and learn a lot about the the city and the driver gave us plenty of time for photos and to take in the beauty, would 100% recommend to anyone coming to Krakow, great value for moneyWritten August 31, 2024
- anthonysT336BG0 contributionsNot impressed.Very poor tour. Very little about Shindler. More about Nazi occupation in Poland. Not what we were expecting, unfortunately.Written August 29, 2024
- tonyal1660 contributionsBring a sandwich and sunhat, but no jacket in AugustWe took the full day Auschwitz-Birkenau-Salt Mine tour in August. This company did a good job getting us to everyplace on time. Here is what to know to prepare for a good day: 1) Auschwitz has good bathrooms and a drink vending machine, but no place to grab a quick lunch, so bring a sandwich. You won't have a set lunch break, but you can eat in the car. You will be standing and walking the entire time. 2) Birkenau has pay bathrooms with a long wait, so you will not have time to use them. You will be standing and walking in the full sun almost the entire tour, so wear a sun hat. 3) Salt Mine has good bathrooms and lots of quick food stands that you will have time to grab a snack. You will be walking down a very very long flight of stairs - bring hand sanitizer for after holding on to the stair railings. Once at the bottom it doesn't even feel like you are underground, so you probably won't feel claustrophobic. You will be standing and walking the entire tour. The cool air feels good, and is not enough to make you cold. This is a long day, but a good trip. We ended up walking 10 miles! The concentration camps are something everyone should see in person. The salt mines was a nice way to clean your mind after hours touring the horrors of the Nazis.Written August 13, 2024
- V1610MHbrianh0 contributionsBait and switchWe did the research to find an operator that guarantees full size buses so we would not be crammed into a small minibus. They switched to a small minibus for our tour and told us take it or leave it. Totally lied to. Don’t trust them.Written August 13, 2024
- 576vikkis0 contributionsChoose a better guideIf you are Jewish or want a true reflection of history I would not do this tour with this company Our guide spent 80percent of the time on the suffering of the Polish people and how wonderful the church had been to the Jewish children (?) She omitted much information that might reflect badly on Poland She also spent very little time on Schindler himself and repeated several times that she felt the story of the Polish pharmacist who saved one Jew was much more worthy of a film, which seemed strange as Schindler saved 1200 Jews but then again he wasn’t Polish I found it a very frustrating experienceWritten July 31, 2024

Thomas was a great guide telling some amazing stories of the old history of krakow, vampires, ghosts and so much more. It was a lovely and different way to see krakow at night and provided some insight into the city that was completely unknown. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone stopping by!!!

Great walking tour! My friend and I really enjoyed this and would recommend if you like stories of vampires, murderers and serial killers. Nicely timed and a break built in for comfort (and hot cherry vodka!) Guide was friendly and knowledgeable.

This was a great way to spend the evening with some spooky stories about Krakow's history.
Our guide was on time and took us on a tour around the Stare Miasto stopping at a number of places to regale us with creepy tales of vampires, serial killers and ghosts. It was also a great way to see things by night.

We were lucky to have Tomasz (creator and owner) as our guide; one of the most extraordinary people I've ever met I think. Go on this tour if you want something different from bog standard. You'll learn while getting a fix of horrid history. Someone didn't read the ts and cs about adults only so leave 'em at the hotel unless they're 15 or you'll just cramp the guide's style.

Great tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She had a great way of telling the ghost stories - I don’t think I want to meet Esther at 4am in the park! Lots of info about the history of Krakow, interesting stories about serial killers, ghost and vampires!

While the guide was extremely nice & spoke fantastic English, the tour itself wasn't that creepy. Yes there was the odd story but generally I felt I learned more about Poland & Krakow's general history rather than the darker side of the city. It was however a nice way to spend an evening rather than drinking.

I did this with my teenage son and we honestly loved it. The tour guide is a great woman who is extremely passionate about Krakow and its history which is fantastic to see, she engages everyone very well. We both loved learning all about the history of the old town and as ghoulish as some of the tales were, it was a tour steeped in local history.
I highly recommend it, worth it even in the freezing cold!

We found the trip interesting and the guide Dan very knowledgeable and informative about Krakow. The only thing that let the trip down on this occasion was the awful weather, something I realise you cannot control. This unfortunately made the trip a bit uncomfortable but overall a good tour.
