  • As it is mandatory in Auschwitz Birkenau museum to confirm your personal details, you are required to take with you passport or ID to be presented at the entrance to museum. Please do not forget it, otherwise you may be not allowed to enter museum.
  • While in Auschwitz-Birkenau, visitors are required to behave appropriately and respectfully
  • Temperatures in Wieliczka Salt Mine are around 59ºF (15ºC). Also, it should be taken into account that narrow paths may seem claustrophobic, and once underground there is no possibility to shorten your visit and turn back. At the entrance, visitors descent 400 steps down and the whole tourist route features over 800 stairs
  • In Auschwitz-Birkenau visitors are generally allowed to take pictures with a few, clearly indicated exceptions. Taking photos and filming in Wieliczka Salt Mine is possible only after purchasing additional pass (10 PLN / 2,5 Euro - cash only)
  • The maximum size of your carry-on can not exceed the following dimensions: 11.8 x 7.8 x 3.9 inches (30 x 20 x 10 cm). You can leave your larger luggage in the car
  • Please note that in the camps there are mostly dirt tracks, which may cause minor difficulties for wheelchair-users
  • Infant seats available
  • Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
  • There are no restrictions regarding the age of children in Wieliczka Salt Mine and Auschwitz Birkenau Memorial and Museum, but they should be either capable of walking unassisted or carried in baby slings or baby carriers. Baby pushchairs are not allowed underground (salt mine)

We organised Saltmines and Auschwitz tours and airport transfers with this company . They are excellent. They gave us flexibility on start times to suit our overall itinerary, arrived on time , comfortable vehicles and very nice , courteous people . Couldn’t recommend this company highly enough! Booked our auschwitz tour and salt mine tour with them. Drivers were on time picking us up from our hotel, great covid-19 measures in place on both the transport and at the sites. Drivers and guides were extremely knowledgable during the tour and were very friendly/ approachable. Had a great experience with Kraków direct so will definitely recommend our friends and family use them when visiting Kraków!

This company is absolutely flawless, I will recommend them to anyone who is visiting Krakow and who wants to do the tours. They picked us up from our hotel and the bus was very clean, the driver who was called Martin was amazing, he was so helpful with everything. On the way to Auschwitz the bus played a video about it which was quite informative, this was a good way to inform us on what we were expecting to see and it also made the journey easier as the drive was an hour and a half away. Honestly the best experience, there were no faults at all this company is definitely 5 stars!!

Travelled to Kraków on a Fri-Sun city break. Weren’t sure on the optimum way to spend our 2 full days. We booked with direct tours to fit in Auschwitz-Birkenau and the Salt Mines in one day. We were picked up by Micheal who helpfully explained what our day would entail. The drive was great and when we got there we were introduced to our guide. Had a really interesting tour, some really amazing heart felt stories. Our guide was brilliant. We got to the salt mines and again, was interesting bought some hand made chocolate and salt. Would definitely recommend. I’d also suggest taking snacks as there’s not many stop points but you need them in between (You wouldn’t eat in Auschwitz anyway as a mark of respect). Anyway! Great day and would highly recommend doing both in one day!

Started the day at Auschwitz and then the Birkneau camp (limited food options until 15.00, so bring some snacks and eat breakfast).
This part of the tour is solemn but very informative and important. The guide was very knowledgeable!

Lunch by the salt mines, and a tour in the mines. A really cool sight and very nice compared to the previous tour..!

Our driver, Michael, was very enthusiastic and helpful, and had a lot of knowledge even though we had a dedicated guide for the different sights.

From the moment we contacted the team the communication was excellent and after answering all of our questions we booked. Everything went as planned and taxis and tours happened just as they were supposed to. Both of our tours we’re expertly conducted. We had a private minibus for our transport and they were modern and clean. It’s always a bit worrying when you go somewhere new but we had confidence that we weren’t going to be let down and we weren’t. Would highly recommend

The driver of our private transfer was extremely rude. He never looked at us, never said a word upon our arrival, he just opened the vehicle’s door obviously annoyed of our existence.

Then he offended us twice, once when we asked him to repeat some of the instructions - he replied back with a seriously mad look, really annoyed of us asking a question “dont you speak english?” he said.

Then i dared to interrupt him with another question when we arrived at the monument, the reply this time was “can i finish?” , i was asking for clarification on what he had just said not in fluent english.

Ultimately, we didn’t exchange another word, he never said hi or bye. He was a private driver!

The transport was very reliable and turned up right on time. Our driver Michael was very helpful and had a wealth of knowledge on both Kraków and Auschwitz.

The tour was very interesting and well planned out to suit everyone’s needs from the day with enough time for small breaks in between the guided tour.

Very professional service. We used them for Airport transfers and the driver was waiting for us as soon as we walked out of the arrivals lounge. The next day we had a guided tour of schlinders factory ,we was the only 2 people on it and the the guide ,Joanna was fantastic and very knowledgeable..
The next day we did Auschwitz tour and salt mine in one day and it was very good.Michael was our driver and he was a very nice young man ..
Kraków direct tours are 100% reliable and very professional ..cheers
