An absolutely fabulous tour of the salt mines. The guide was fantastic and (being a former miner in the salt mines) was able to tell us the history, complexities of working in the mines and those who carved the amazing structures. The underground church is the most amazing piece of detailed architecture - a must place to visit

I'd book direct (£20 per person) and get a taxi. Your ticket includes a tour & it means you can hang around and have good, coffee and look at the gift shop (and stalls outside afterwards) Your guide great, wouldn't recommend if you struggle with steps. There's LOTS!!! Would definitely go back with the kids. Beautiful place .

400 steps down so beware, we were not informed before going. Guide was pleasant but started to talk before all the group had reached him so quiet a bit information was missed

I found this very dull, and wanted to leave, but you can't. There was a huge que to get the lift out, which was a metal box where they squeeze in too many people so you are crushed against strangers. It was scary and not in a fun way! The history was boring, its a salt mine where nothing intresting happened and has been used as a tourist attraction for a long time. There was a few rooms which were impressive but not worth wasting 3 to 4 hours to see these. If you go on a busier day, I think it would have been a nightmare. I have been to several mines and carrvans which I enjoyed, but this is not done well.

A must see, it is unique. A lot of stairs and walking so dress accordingly. The tour was done at a reasonable pace with a good interpreter

This was so much more that I expected, if you visit Krakow don't miss this. The tour guide was very good. Be aware that in lockdown the restaurant is very limited - no surprise.

From the transport ( Driver was Slawek) which was comfortable and on time. To the guide in the mine itself and the tour it was memorable experience. Well done to all concerned

The salt mines are definitely worth a visit if you're in Krakow. The mines are very interesting, accessible to tourists and made very interesting thanks to the guides. A part of the history of this fantastic region of Poland!
