About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- nichole250 contributionsInformative and respectful day out.We went by mini bus which was nice. The driver also offered us a packed lunch for 60PLN each. This was jam packed with lovely food. The tour itself was very informative ( I hope you like walking) and left alot to reflect on. Would definitely suggest doing this at least once in your life.Written October 9, 2024
- KimberlyJesch0 contributionsGreat option for a tour of Auschwitz and BirkenauOur driver picked us up ahead of schedule. The van was comfortable and air conditioned. The driver was very friendly and spoke English well. Our tour guide at auschwitz was excellent. Easy to understand and very informative. We also opted to use the lunch option from the tour and it was more food than we could eat-a great value!Written October 9, 2024
- billyn8510 contributionsAuschwitz guided tourGreat trip out from Krakow. Communication from start to finish was superb. Igor picked us up bang on time & was a great tour guide & driver. Even offered to pick up lunch boxes for all. Early start but worth the trip & money .Written October 8, 2024
- 746evej0 contributionsVery informativeI would definitely recommend this tour. It was really informative and ran smoothly. Our driver picked us up on time and kept us updated with everything we needed to know. He was also really friendly and made us feel at ease.Written October 7, 2024
- Sandonbonk0 contributionsAuschwitz tourReally well organised trip & kept fully informed of pick up time, etc by Thomas. Pick up was right on time & the driver explained fully the course of the day & points for pick to return to the hotel. Our guide at Auschwitz was Marianna who was excellent all day & extremely respectful to those who lost their lives. Highly recommend this trip & operator, everything was excellent. Thank you Thomas.Written October 6, 2024
- 743addys0 contributionsPoland tripI don’t want to give 5 star due to where we were but the educator who took us around was amazing and you can see he was talking from the heart . Everything was handled well and was fascinating but really hard to see and listenWritten October 5, 2024
- Barry E0 contributionsA must visitIt was an incredible experience but it was pretty difficult to comprehend the level of cruelty that went on here I would recommend you visit and hear the stories in the guided tourWritten October 5, 2024
- sbin19870 contributionsHigh recommend to others !!Was a pretty amazing tour, myself and my husband went, the grounds are vast and over two sites so take comfortable footwear. There’s plenty to do and see. Plenty took photos and it’s generally encouraged but I felt a bit uncomfortable given the circumstances of the sites. My only gripe is that because so many tours are going on at once you feel like your on a conveyor belt which doesn’t give you enough time or opportunity to full y read all the information boards and certainly doesn’t give you enough chance to really digest what you do get to read. My advice would be slow it down slight and make sure EVERYONE is able to read the information properly themselves should they wish to.Written October 4, 2024
- timjonjove0 contributionsExceptional Service !Very easy to book through Trip Advisor. Excellent communication throughout. Our driver Paul contacted us the day before to arrange pick up time from our hotel. Paul arrived promptly at 7 am as arranged. The vehicle was very comfortable and Paul was very knowledgeable and showed us a Auschwitz video on the journey. [ A very reassuring safe driver ]. On arrival Paul really looked after us , escorting us through security and stayed with us until we met the Auschwitz guide. We had ordered packed lunches [Excellent value at £10 ]. Which we ate before going onto Birkenau. We were then driven to Birkenau and met the same guide as before . After the visit concluded Paul was waiting for us to take us back. If you are considering visiting Auschwitz -Birkenau this company is without doubt the very best. Thank you Paul for such an outstanding experience. Emma and Beverley.Written October 4, 2024
- luvsummer820 contributionsVery happy with tour and guide .Everything went perfectly from pick up to drop off . Our guide Igor was fantastic . Very personable . He picked us up on time , arranged lunch for our break and got us safely back to the hotel afterwards. I highly recommend this tour.Written October 3, 2024
- C1941VLoliviap0 contributionsEveryone needs to experience Auschwitzi think everybody who visits poland has to go to auschwitz at least once. to feel the sheer volume and substantial impact it had on the 20th century. i have personally been twice but this was the first time i have used tripadvisor for anything! it was quite easy and i would recommend getting a transfer as it makes the redemption of tickets a lot easier than getting there yourself. i would allow a full day for this trip as it’s quite a lot. Artur was our transportation and he was so lovely!! collected us all at one location. drove us safety too, offered a lunch box for 50 ZŁ (£9.00), and dropped us back too. i was able to contact both the driver and the tour operator on whatsapp which i found helpful and all together i really enjoyed it. (in the best way possible)Written October 3, 2024
- 846darreni0 contributionsAbsolutely recommended.Excellent hotel pick up service, very friendly and helpful driver who was a good driver and helped make the trip comfortable and enjoyable. The Auschwitz tour guide was excellent in every regard and the tour of both camps was extremely harrowing but was an amazing insight to this most valuable history. It was an excellent day in all aspects from start to finish. 100% recommended.Written October 3, 2024
- juliasJ7551WM0 contributionsA superbly comfortable well organised guided tourIgor was wonderful! He picked us up from the hotel at a pre- arranged time in a superbly clean and comfortable vehicle. He explained what to expect in terms of security checks etc and provided a really generous and delicious packed lunch which was great value. At Auschwitz, Igor handed over to one of the Auschwitz guide who was very competent. He then transferred us from the first to the second camp and picked us up at the end. Throughout, we felt in very safe hands and everything was well organised. It is,of course, an extraordinary place to visit whose diabolical history was depicted sensitively but the visit has a huge emotional impact. My only reservation is that the visit is not suitable for wheelchair users. Luckily my relative could get out and walk when needs be but other wheelchair users who are not able to walk for long periods over rocky terrain should beware.Written October 2, 2024
- katpuss0 contributionsWell organised. We prebooked before arriving in krakow. The communication from the company was very good. Giving timely information about pick up, who your guide is to offering lunch bags ( that are worth every penny) and the inventry for the day. We were sent a message the day before with our pick up location and time ( yes it's early) they were on time. The groups are small and the guide informative. The visit to auschwitz was well organised we quickly met with our guide once inside the camp, who was very knowledgeable. You do move along quickly and there is a lot of walking involved but still able to take everything in,take photos ( some areas you can't as it's sensitive issues) and ask questions. The whole visit was emotional and well told. It was nothing like what we expected and definitely needs to be seen.Written October 2, 2024
- taffy25100 contributionsGreat tour and comfortable! We went on the tour yesterday, with the company organising the transport, which was punctual and very comfortable, and lunches for an extra cost of around 50 PLN (about £10 each). These were big and fresh, which again was great as you are too busy on the tour to really stop off! My mother was with me who is disabled and the driver and tour operator took that into consideration throughout, allowing her more time and also just the thought, which you sometimes don’t get.Written October 2, 2024

This trip was brilliantly organised and I would highly recommend. We were informed of our hotel pick up time the day before (having already been given a time frame) and were also asked if we wanted a packed lunch for 35zloty - well worth the purchase, good value, delicious baguette and there isn't too much choice to get food elsewhere anyway!
We were picked up right on time (8.40am) and there was 9 of us in the minibus in total (incl. the driver). We were given clear instructions throughout the day and were given plenty of toilet/rest breaks. The guides at Auschwitz and the Salt Mines were both professional and informative. We were dropped off back at our hotel around 6.30pm (about a 10 hour day).
Be aware it is quite a long day which requires a lot of walking but the trip is great value (you don't have to worry about organising a thing) and makes sense to get them both done in one day if you want to free up other days.

This trip was excellent. You do not go the Auschwitz expecting to enjoy the visit, and the hope is that you get to understand and appreciate the awful atrocities that took place there. Our driver and our guide were both excellent. The trip started with a prompt pickup from our apartment. We were shown a video on the way to Auschwitz given a good impression of the history and what to expect. Our guide around the camp was superb, really giving the history of what went on and was clearly passionate to impart knowledge and also her personal feelings with regards to the terrible things that occurred. This is really a trip that must be done, but emotionally it is very draining.
The Salt Mines were simply superb, again very wort the visit, but for very different reasons. The guide was passionate and excellent. This is a must visit attraction.
thanks for a great trip.

This was somewhere I always wanted to visit so my daughter booked it for me as a present.
Excellent well organised day . Thomas confirmed my booking and I spoke to him over the phone he was very pleasant and put my mind at easy as regards to the pick up location Very good value for money .Our Driver Lucas I believe even though my daughter still insists he was called Thomas was excellent. We were picked up at our Hotel on time offered a packed lunch by our driver Lucas ? which I would advise anyone booking this tour to accept (about £6/7 ) as it’s a long day with a lot of walking . Guides at both locations were very knowledgable
The Salt Mines was the last visit of the day and a welcome uplifting experience after visiting Auschwitz which I will never forget neither will my daughter.
Thank you

We were picked up from our hotel by a very friendly guy, there were 6 other travellers with us in the van. The driver took us to where we needed to be and made sure we were all ok and knew where to meet him at the end of the tour. The tour guide at Auschwitz was excellent, he also did the tour of Birkenau. He was extremely knowledgeable and took care to ensure we all stayed together, that we were ok through the tour especially as it is obviously quite upsetting and emotive. We were lucky as the weather was very warm for October. We then travelled back towards Krakow to the Salt mine, unfortunately the lady who guided us through was not so good, but really the most impressive thing was the underground chapel carved from salt, so it didn’t matter that she was not so attentive. We got back to Krakow around 6 pm.

The tour, albeit understandably somber due to the location, was outstanding. Prior to our departure our guide (Grzesiek) contacted us via WhatsApp to confirm our booking, pick up location, and to provide us an opportunity to purchase a lunch during the tour. On the day of the trip, Grzesiek was punctual and provided us with all of the information we needed. I highly recommend this service to people looking to visit this memorial site.

This tour was amazing from start to finish. Our tour guide was called Igor and he couldn’t have been any more helpful. He greeted us in the morning with a handshake and he was very friendly. He explained the timetable for the day and made sure everyone was comfortable with it. Igor made sure everyone was warm enough and comfortable throughout the journey. We were shown a video on the way to Auschwitz for information and throughout the journey he showed us famous landmarks and places worth visiting. The tour guide at Auschwitz was very informative and passionate and at no point were we rushed. The Auschwitz tour and Birkenau is definitely worth doing, it’s very interesting and surreal. Once we had finished at Auschwitz we went to the salt mines and had a short break for lunch once we arrived. The tour guide at the salt mines was again very passionate and had a vast amount of knowledge! She made the tour fun and there were interactive opportunities. Again it’s definitely a tour we would recommend. Igor had ensured throughout the whole day everyone knew where he would be waiting for us and what to expect at each part of the day. He was chatty throughout the journey back and dropped everyone back at their hotels. Thanks for a great day!

This trip was amazing and all I thought it would be and more - our guide Elona was exceptional. This lady knew her history and managed to convey it to us with the true emotion that could not leave you unsure as to the atrocities and heartbreak which occurred in Autswitch and Birkenbrau. She never rushed the trip and she was able to answer all and any questions that were asked of her. I cannot express how glad we were to have had her. Thomas our driver was brilliant with great humour and very professional. We then went onto the salt mine. Such a fab place to go and our guide was so witty and imparted wonderful knowledge. Amazing trip to take. Lunch was fab, gorgeous pasta salad, drink, very tasty sandwich, fruit & a sweet. Minibus was so comfortable.

Myself and my partner went on this tour yesterday. We are still reminiscing on the harrowing experience. Our guide on the Auschwitz tour was very informative (in tactful way). An experience we will not forget. Later, we visited the salt mines. Amazing!! Nicholas our guide was fab with a great sense of humour! Brilliant architecture and use of the mines. Definitely recommend this tour! Doing both tours in one day has allowed us to explore Kraków at a more relaxed pace.

From start to finish it was a well run and awesome value. The pick up was easy the driver was very polite. He confirmed the day before of the pick up times (via text) then on the day he was 5 mins late (which was down to one of the other guests on the tour not the driver) he notified us via text that he was running late.
Auschwitz-Birkenau
This was a truly thought provoking tour. Words cannot fully express the trip To Auschwitz-Birkenau. The tour guid really made the trip special with his knowledge and passion for putting that knowledge. This is a must see. It does put a little perspective and context on what happened.
The salt was awesome for other reasons. The fact the the whole mine has been excavated by hand was unreal. Again another must see tour with a guide who was very knowledgable and interesting.
I would definitely recommend this and especially with this company.
I cannot think of any down points of the tour.

Hi, do you offer private, live online tours? Thanks
Written September 6, 2020
We were picked up from our hotel at 8.45am and arrived back at 7pm so it’s a long day. We didn’t stop for lunch until 3pm so take some snacks with you. You can leave your bags in the mini van throughout the day so take as much as you need.
Written February 18, 2020
Hi. We had no food included as part of our tour. A restaurant was booked before we visited the salt mine which you could go to or find your own alternative.
Written January 30, 2020
How long is spent at each tour? (Auschwitz and salt mine)
Written January 16, 2020
We spent a couple of hours at each site with travel to/in between/ and back to our hotel.
Written January 19, 2020
I would think so as you are picked up in a vehicle and driven around. Seats are allocated so I presume you'd need to. Check with operator, they were very good with communication
Written January 11, 2020
we've currently booked both trips on separate days until we came across doing them both in the same day. just wondering is there a museum at Auschwitz and if so does this tour show you round the museum?
Written October 26, 2019
We did it on 1 day and found it rushed and never really had a chance to look at things/exhibits properly. All of it is a museum in a way but time would be against you to properly look and absorb things in a day.
Stick with the separate days

Ist es möglich die Führung in Deutsch zu machen oder mit einem Headset auf Deutsch zu hören?
Written October 11, 2019
Yes this tour included the entry fee to the camp and salt mine. Tour was organised very well and great value for money I couldn’t fault the service we received. Driver also offered us opportunity to purchase lunch which we took up this offer.
Written July 29, 2019
Hi we are looking to book the full day tour including the salt mines on Monday 11 March but want to check we will get back to the airport in time for the flight; we are scheduled on the Krakow to Stanstead flight that departs at 21.45. If we can get back to the airport in time I will definitely book. Kind regards Tracey
Written March 3, 2019
Hi Tracey, I think this would be tight as you'll need to check in for your flight at 1945. As Patricia and Emma have said, the tour does stick to their timings. We asked to be dropped off in the City Centre, personal choice, at that was about 1900 hrs. I feel you'd need to confirm with them before hand, that you'd be the first drop off in terms of the drivers route.
You could visit the Salt Mines independently, if your time permits. Buses go from the center of town and once there, you pay your entry fee and join a guided tour in your language.
