- AttitudeAdjuster00Very glad that I did thisI love to take a cooking class when visiting foreign countries and Delicious Poland were so helpful when I contacted them. The restaurant is an easy tram ride from the Old Town. It is probably best if you can go as part of a pair but I was just fine on my own and had my own space/ingredients to work with. Olga is a brilliant teacher and her Grandmother is very hands-on in helping you out. I enjoyed the savoury Pierogi, just as well as I had my whole portion to myself! I didn't care for the blueberry version. Olga emailed us the recipe together with some really helpful information about Krakow and I will definitely join the food tour next time! The week after I got home, I made my own Pierogi and they were a real hit!
- G668TTjohnr00The Art of Making PierogisThis class was exceptional. Our instructor, Olga, was hands on and very personable. She taught us the art of making both savory and sweet pierogis. First, we made our savory stuffing and then learned to make the dough. We were taught how thin to roll it out, how to cut the dough and how to fill the dough. Several different sealing methods were taught - crimping, braiding and using the fork tines. Many tips were shared making it even easier. This class was informative, fun and delicious. We highly recommend it.
- DerekW879000Wanna cook in Krakow?! Book this now!!!This was perfect! My friend and I are in Krakow for only a few days and we were thrilled that this was available. The host was kind, thoughtful and informative. I do not cook/bake, and the host was excellent in helping me. Would totally do this again!!
- babciaandyiayiat00Best Pierogies in townOur instructors Anna and Maria were amazing and helped chefs of all levels! We had so much fun!! What set this class apart was that we could make the dough and the fillings which meant we could apply our experience at home! 10/10 must do!!!
- Adventure3021980449800Amazing!Absolutely loved the food tour in Gdansk with guide Tomek! It was a truly local experience, with delicious food and fascinating insights into Polish culture and history. Fantastic value and a real feast! Highly recommended!
- stacia19100Great experience! The whole class was super informative and easy to follow along to! It was great to learn so much about Polish food! Olga was a wonderful teacher and made the experience wonderful!
- Leaburton900Yummy fun 👩🍳Great experience with Olga as the teacher. We booked the day before and we were the only two attending. It made the experience so personal and we got to make all our own Perogi and eat what we wanted. I took mine home. I’m sure we learned a few extra tricks of the trade. Olga was very adept at grilling her Perogi- we have a long way to go 🤣. This is not a highly polished affair put together to rush tourists in and out against a time clock or conducted in accordance with strict regulations, which we found relaxing and refreshing to be casual and friendly. We took a tram to the venue- a hotel/pub, about 20 minutes ride. Stops across the road. Google will get you there no problems- worth the journey.
- boW1278LU00Nice Experience!I had a class with Olga today and she is explaining how to make Pierogi very well! She is very friendly and will definitely recommend this class!
- ZeenTravells00A lot of fun!I had an amazing time at the pierogi cooking class! The host was absolutely lovely, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The class was a lot of fun, filled with laughter and great company. Not only did I learn the art of making delicious pierogis, but I also gained valuable insights into the traditional techniques and flavors. It was a hands-on experience that allowed me to experiment with different fillings and shapes. The host's guidance and expertise made the process easy to follow, and I left the class feeling confident in my newfound culinary skills. I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to explore the world of pierogi-making while having a fantastic time.
- JayCeesNo100Great experienceThis tour was a totally unexpected delight. Far exceeded our expectations and Anna our guide was fabulous. Excellent English and very very knowledgeable about more than just the craft beer - She also followed up with an email for other recommendations. This is definitely a must do for those who like speciality beers and it also gave you a great walking tour of the Jewish Quarter and beyond. Highly recommended
- Passenger4741277065000Fantastic Tour!Fantastic Craft Beer Tour! Knowledgeable guide who told us a lot not only about beers, but also a little bit of city history and current lifestyle and trends. Lovely atmosphere and diverse beer selection. Highly recommended to any beer lover!
- stevegY5938XG00Tour of Food and Beverage with Magda in KrakowThoroughly enjoyed our food and beverage tour with Magda. Magda was very knowledgeable of the history of this local Krakow area. The samples of Polish food and beer from a few of the local eateries were delicious. I also enjoyed a taste of a few Polish vodkas. Our personalized tour was a highlight of my first trip to Krakow!
- D3297GFjanetl00Great tour and guideWe enjoyed the food tour. Lovely food and Sonia was a fantastic tour guide! Especially the vodka and nibbles.
- 837evano00MemorableWonderful experience! Our guide, Magda, was not only very knowledgeable about Polish food and traditions, but also very friendly!
- Sixtiesloulou00Excellent food tour with MagdaWe enjoyed an informative and filling few hours walking around the Jewish quarter, discovering hidden eateries, and sampling local specialities. Great tour, but go hungry - you eat so much!!

The food tour was fantastic! All the food was delicious - do make sure you are hungry, there is loads of food, you need lots of room! The drinks were great too and what made it really special was Izabela sharing her experiences of childhood foods, how dishes are prepared and what makes them special. Learning about some of Poland's history and cultural ways really brought the food and drink to life. We would definitely recommend this tour. We were the only people the evening we did this tour, but that did not matter. Izabela was chatty and made it a great experience. At the end Izabela took time to write down different places to eat and visit in the city and sent us an email with recipes. Many thanks!

A tour offering Polish food. Whatever next?
Surely it would just be beetroot soup, cabbage and a few glasses of Tyskie. Well it wasn't, so read on!
The Kazimierz Food Tour started, rather unexpectedly, outside a fairly modern looking coffee house on a busy street near Kazimierz. We were met by our guide for the evening, Maciej, who explained the plan of action for the next few hours. We threw a spanner in the works when we said we were both vegetarian! A few 'phone calls later and we were sorted. A vegetarian tour was up and running!
Our first port of call wasn't too far away from our start point. The establishment was noted for its Pierogi, a Polish dish of dumplings. Now this doesn't sound too promising, but they were delicious. We also learned how to tell a decent pierogi from a poor one. The one's sold in restaurants tend to be of the poorer variety.
Our second port of call was to try a couple of vodkas and some 'starters', all of which were delicious. The rest got a bit blurry, partly from the vodka and partly from the intermittent drizzle on my specs (this was in early March).
Our guide guided us around the myriad streets and alleys of Kazimierz, popping into restaurants and bars to try the local produce. It was all truly fantastic. So much so, by the end of our fascinating tour I was stuffed. I couldn't fit another morsel into me, if I had, a repetition of Monty Python's Mr Creosote was on the cards.
All in all, it was a most excellent evening and well worth the money. As it was our first night in Krakow, it also gave us an insight into what to expect and look for when dining out. Overall rating 11/10

We took a Food Tour with Izabela on a very cold Krakow night and all the food we tasted was delicious. It was a very comprehensive tour at which we tasted pierogi, soup, several types of finger food, homemade desserts, vodka and craft beer. Reasonable time was allotted for each restaurant/bar and the walking distance between each stop was manageable, even for such a cold night. Izabela kindly sent us all the recipes and a list of all the places we visited and the dishes we tasted. Last but not least, what made this tour even more intimate was the fact that Izabela filled us in with her experiences growing up during the Communist era in Poland and how that affected her life and that of her family. It was fascinating. I’d definitely recommend this lovely tour to anyone visiting Krakow.

We undertook this tour on the first evening of a 4 night stay in Krakow. Izabella was a most wonderful, knowledgeable and personable host sharing much of her experiences as a child to add to our understanding of the history of this fabulous city. The venues for the food choices were fabulous. I ran out of room during the main courses - there is so much lovely food to taste. Izabella made it a very immersive experience, encouraging us to think about the tastes associated with each food and drink we tried. This set us up so well for the rest of our stay as what we tried and where on this food tour then influenced our later dining choices in the following days. Highly recommended

This was mine and my wife's first time in Poland, so we knew we had to take a food tour to see all of the food that it has to offer. Maciej was our tour guide, and he did an excellent job of covering all of the different aspects that you need to appreciate the foods and drinks that we tried. He went over how the dishes are prepared, what makes them unique, where they fit into the Polish and/or Krakow culture, and of course, how to best enjoy them. We had five different stops, with each having a different number and type of dish. From pierogis to potato pancakes, two different types of soups, cold dishes, vodka, beer, and even dessert, we left feeling full and very satisfied with every dish that we ate. It was so good that two days later we had to walk back to the pierogi spot to have a full plate of each of our favorites. Finally, Maciej was able to email us a summary of all of the places and dishes that we tried (I counted 21 different foods/drinks) as well as recipes for some of those dishes, which we can't wait to try. I would highly recommend this tour as one of the first stops to anyone traveling to Krakow.

Izabella is an amazing guide so very informative and helpful. We tried a lot of different foods and got to learn about them while doing so. The tour takes place in the Jewish quarter and the walk was great. Izabella even gave us some local tips about grocery shopping, art, and things to do outside of the city. After the tour she even emailed recipes that we cannot wait to attempt to make.Highly recommend taking this tour!

Having taken a number of food tours in the past and visited Poland several times we were rather underwhelmed by this experience. Our first stop provided the best food of the evening with a selection of cold cuts and cheeses accompanied by two vodkas. This was tasty, delicious and authentic. We then moved on to a specialised pierogi restaurant where we enjoyed a selection of dumplings which were again very good but would have been improved by the meat option. So far so good.
However, our next stop was for a “street food” experience, which consisted of a slice of toasted bread topped with some cheese and tomato sauce. This was okay but nothing special. Finally was the promised “three course meal”. This consisted of a bowl of overly seasoned soup which none of our party managed to finish. It was followed by a single potato pancake accompanied by a very small bowl of goulash to be shared amongst five guests which was rather bland and tasteless. For dessert we each had half a portion of a stodgy fried doughnut type pudding which again lacked flavour.
Rather than the promised “craft beer” we were offered glass of the standard lager that can be bought in just about any bar in Krakow.
So, from a promising start the experience declined and didn’t deliver on the advertised commitments. It felt very much as though it was done cheaply and the final meal was a huge disappointment. We ate well for less than half the cost of this on the previous evening and although Magda was a pleasant enough host, we don’t feel we learned much more about the district than we knew before.
Unfortunately I feel unable to recommend on this occasion.

Thank you very much for taking your time to review our Food Tour!
We make sure we deliver the advertised commitments with the possibility of the changes depending on the availability of the food and drinks. However the final offer is generally more than what we advertise.
Our guides always make sure to educate the group about the district and it is a significant part of the tour. However our groups are mixed and some participants may know about the area more (like you), but we have to make sure we also include the background information for the participants that are in the neighborhood for the first time. Our guides are always willing to adapt the narration according to the participants' expectations and we can assure you that Magda has an excellent knowledge and she would be excited to share with you more if she only knew your expectations.
We want to assure you that all the stops are carefully chosen within locals’ (and ours) favorites. We are very saddened that you didn’t enjoy the last stop, the only one polish street food was not your favourite or had different expectations regarding the pierogi's filling. Our goal is to provide the best local experience for our guests. We avoid tourist traps, go to places that are family-run businesses, where you can taste the real, home cooked flavours that are nostalgic for every Pole. The way the dishes are seasoned or cooked is the authentic version of the dishes every Polish person grows up with. Even though it may not be to everyones' liking, we did not want to compromise and wanted to keep the flavours as real as possible.
The tour is also a tailored experience that includes many factors (carefully selected stops, customized menu, local guide etc.), so it is incomparable with the price of the dinner you have on your own in a restaurant.
Thank you very much for joining our tour, we take every feedback to our hearts and will continue working on providing the best possible expirience,
Best rgeards,
Kamila and Goksel

My daughter and I booked this food tour to give us a taste of polish food. The tour starts at a cafe a short distance from the old town (easy walk) you meet your guide ours was Magdalana who explains that the tour includes both restraunt food and street food, unfortunately for us the weather was cold & wet but along with 8 other British tourists we set off on our tour. Magdalena was very knowledgeable about the area and explained various sites as we walked to our first stop, where we tried four different types of filled dumplings one of our group was vegetarian which was catered for on the tour with not much difference.
We then moved on to our street food stop a pizza type of food which everyone enjoyed.
Next we moved onto a restaurant in the Jewish area main square where we had various food and our first alcohol two different vodkas after this wee walked to our final restraunt where we had a three course meal with one beer.
The tour gave us a good outline & experience of local foods and a good tour of the area. Magdalena was an excellent guide who spoke very good English and obviously knew her subject.
Good tour well worth the cost.

Really enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide, Izabella, gave us lots of information about the food and its background. The 2 vodka tasters were great - good to know the differences, I'm not usually a fan of vodka but this has made me think I may try again.
Was nice to see a differnet area of the city - not just the main square and old city. There was cerrtainly a lot to eat and we finished the tour nicely full.
(Apology to Izabella, as due to the covid situation we chose not to use cash so we didn't have any with us - we would have liked to have given a tip)

My wife and I went on this food tour on our first night in Krakow. I'm so glad we did ,as it gave us a great insight into simple, delicious Polish food. Our guide Kamila was excellent. She was local and had great knowledge of the area and brought us to several restaurants and bars so we could try loads of different food and drinks, explaining the history and background to all the food.
We enjoyed one of the restaurants so much that we returned twice during our trip(kuchnia u doroty)
We would definitely recommend trying this food tour early in your trip, not only to try the local food and drinks, but also to help you get your bearings in the Jewish district.

I believe that they have more than 1 tour guide so can't be 100% certain that all the tours follow the same itinerary but the tour we had was in the Jewish quarter. That's not where we started but that's where we headed and finished there. Very enjoyable and educational

I’d suggest asking Kamila whether she runs trips in January. Google says average high of 34° and low of 21° in January with rain 9 days/ month so it’ll be below freezing for the 3.5 hour evening walking tour. She seems pretty creative though so maybe has a plan B for winter.
