        Good trip
Pick up was at 6am, not 7am as advertised. Auschwitz and salt mines guides were very informative and I learnt a lot in the places. Salt mines are a must of you are going to Poland. The vibe on the bus could have been a lot better.

        Emotional
We had limited time in Kracow and wanted to make most of it so plumped for the full day tour. Whilst it was an early pickup (6.10am from our hotel) the whole day was planned very well, excellent driver and guides who were very knowledgeable. We returned around 5pm. Lunch was included on the full day tour and there were plenty of opportunity for comfort breaks. Good walking shoes essential since there was plenty of walking on this trip so it is quite tiring.

Auschwitz - Birkenau: Yes. Salt mine : Don’t bother
Ok this is a long day. The trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau is everything I expected. A wonderful guide and pleasant transport. A little squashed into a minibus and an old fashioned video. It all felt a bit on the cheap. The guide once we arrived was informative and very good. We had headsets and were shown everything at both sites. It’s an awful story but told really well. We then went to the salt mines. We were told this was a must. I disagree. I was bored. The guide wa supplied by the salt mine and was hard to understand. The tour involved too much walking and was mundane. Once you’ve seen one part you’ve seen it all. Lots of stops at overpriced cafes and gift shops on the tour. Just do the camps and forget the saltmine.

You can skip the salt mines
I really enjoyed the first half of the day learning about Auschwitz 1 and 2. The salt mines were a bit too boring for me though, and I felt that they dragged on

Didn't realise just how much walking was involved.
Auscwicz & Birkenau was a great tour, very moving, and the guides are very informative and knowledgeable. It's hard to comprehend exactly how atrocious the conditions were back then. You really must have walking shoes on for this tour, there is a lot of walking and standing. The salt mine was good but where I was so tired because of the walking I didn't appreciate the mine as much, my advice would be do the tours separately, one day apart, you'll thank me for it. The mine you have to walk down over 800 steps alone, without the 3km of tunnels you have to walk through. Dint get me wrong, it was good but exhausting. Over the 3 tours, I managed just over 27000 steps, just over 11 miles. The bus is very cramped for your transfers from each attraction, I was picked up from the hotel promptly in a very nice minibus and thought we was lucky, but your taken to a meeting point where you are crammed in the bus. Everyone moaned about the bus.

Historically, culturally and emotionally important place to visit. Everyone who goes to Poland should experience this.
An emotional but important part of our trip. I wouldn’t do it in combination with the salt mines in hindsight it’s too much in one day - especially for my little trotters!

        Great experience
I am going to split the review into 3 parts, the tour company, Auschwitz-Birenau and the salt mines. For the tour company, they were excellent. We had a slight snafu with the booking, but were able to clear it up with them quickly and efficiently and our pick up and trip went off perfectly. As I read some of the negative reviews, people booking should understand that they run multiple trips a day, so if you don't book all your people together at the same time, don't expect to go into viator later, add people and expect to be on the same bus. Also, please alway make sure they have your email/number/whatsapp to communicate with you. They will always contact you at least a day before ton confirm everything. Aushwitz-Birenau can get thousands of visitors a day, the tours within the camps are done by their guides and are highly timed and move quickly, this is simply a matter of logistics. We were moved from stop to stop in a highly organized and practiced manner, so please don't expect to linger. The salt mines were a huge pleasant surprise. I had planned the trip around the camps and just picked this trip without really reading about the mines. The mines were highly entertaining and honestly a must see. It is a LONG day though, and a LOT of walking, including a lot of stairs (down) in the mines. If you are in Poland a while, you might want to split the trips into 2 days. We weren't in Krackow that long, and knew it was going to be a lot so were prepared.

Excellent tour!! Would definitely recommend Mr Shuttle
Brilliant tour! Great value for money, very well organised with comfortable travel and helpful guides. The lunch was delicious too!!! It's a long day with LOTS of walking so comfy shoes and Birkenau is all outside so prepare for the weather but it's so worth it.

Excellant and Reliable Shuttle service from airport to hotel
Just returned from Krakow, we were planning on just getting a taxi when we arrived at Krakow airport but at the very last minute (booked the morning of the day we were traveling) so their would be no surprise on what we would be spending. We got an almost instant confirmation detailing the process. Our flight was then delayed just over two hours so we sent a SMS to Mr Shuttle as per their confirmation instructions to let them we would be late arriving. In the end we didn't get through passport control until 10.20pm. Our driver was waiting for us, Olaf was very helpful and during the drive to the hotel told us all bout the city and suggested things we may like to do on our visit. We had also booked a return with Mr Shuttle, again our driver picked us up at the hotel on time and returned us to the airport well in time for the return flight. We would highly recommend MR Shuttle and will definitely use them again on a future visit to Poland.

        Great experience
Pick up was punctual (although very early at 6.10am so be warned!), and good informative tours around Auschwitz-Birkenau and the salt mine. Substantial lunch too. Everything went to schedule and was well organised.

        Highly recommended
Such a good trip. Booking the tour guide helped us skip the lines. Transportation was great. We got picked up in front of our Airbnb and watched a documentary on the way there. Highly recommended.

If I could award it double the stars allowed I would.
So pleased we booked with Mr Shuttle, so many tours are cancelled by other companies at the last minute we decided to go with this company because of their reputation for being reliable and that they certainly were. Updates on pick up time and advice on what to wear and bring were very helpful but above all of that the trip itself was amazing. You will not be disappointed if you pick them

        Putting Life in Perspective
We had the most amazing guide thanks to Mr Shuttle who brought the horrors of life and death in Auschwitz and Birkenhau alive. Her extraordinarily vivid knowledge emphasised the horrors of what took place. There was no doubting by the end that we MUST ensure nothing like this ever happens again. Thank you to our guide, apologies that we don’t remember your name but we will never forget your narrative.

On our way from Krakau to Zakopane we had a nice chauffeur who drove safely. However the chauffeur on our way back was a crazy kamikaze. Braking late, not keeping distance and last but note least he didn’t listen to us when we asked to slow down.

The bad experience did not compensate the trip to Zakopane.

From start to finish our day was great. Bart was a fab guide doing a great job of something that must be repetitive for him. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this trip.
