A very good tour but breaks (coffee/lunch) required.
This was a very good guided tour. Our tour guide reiterated the need for respect and cognisance of the fact that we were walking in a graveyard where the ashes of many thousands of other human beings were scattered and buried. The tour was quiet and respectful, as it ought to be. There was no hotel pick-up for a number of us who were picked up at a meeting place. There was no “lunch option” offered. There was no opportunity given for a coffee break or a lunch break on what was a long day tour (9.40am to 4.40pm). Understandably, there are no dining facilities at Auschwitz. We had a 15 minute toilet break prior to the commencement of the tour (enough time to purchase crisps from a vending machine). There is a café outside the Birkenau camp. After our camp tours were completed, we had a 15-minute break. I, like many others, had to choose between a toilet break (queue) or a takeaway coffee; the toilet break had to be prioritised. It was raining non-stop all day. A hot cup of coffee prior to our return journey would have been much appreciated. I would not recommend this tour to the elderly, those with mobility issues or those with issues regarding fasting (for example, diabetics). It involves most of the time spent walking outdoors, often on uneven surfaces. It is inappropriate to bring young children on this tour.

Get to know the history of Krakow with Robert.
You don’t know Krakow until you have done a guided walking tour with Robert. He is an excellent guide who has a great knowledge of the history of Krakow. He can expand on any topic. His genuine love for his city is evident as he speaks from the heart. Robert is also a lovely man. I would highly recommend a guided walking tour of old Krakow with Robert.

Some history and some off the beaten track highlights
This was one of the best things we did in a short visit down to Krakow. A guide with an encyclopaedic understanding of the City’s history, took a small group on a cross Krakow walking tour that took in some off the beaten track sights. I cannot recommend this highly enough, though do remember an umbrella if the weather is inclement!

    Great Day Underground
Our tour group numbered 16 and our guide was superb. These factors made for a most enjoyable visit. There is so much to see that a return visit is planned. One word might suffice to describe the awesome salt sculpture we viewed and that word is conviction.

Nice tour, but a little fast
Nice and easy with hotel pick-up. Nice in Auswich with audio guide with good explanation and information. In Birkenau it was unfortunate that there was no audio guiding, because the guide walked fast and talked fast and we couldn’t keep up so we missed out on a lot of information. Would be better with some time to take pictures throughout the tour, and not 20 minutes at the end. Wished the whole tour lasted a bit longer.

    Great!
Chris was fab. He gave us ownership of our day, allowed the trip to be flexible which is what we really wanted. He was kind, friendly and informative. He was a great driver and informed us of toilet stops as and when appropriate, he ensured that he continuously checked on us and that we were comfortable. The trip itself was lovely, long car journey though, about 2 hours 30 minutes there - but we knew that when booking.

    A culture-rich tour
Despite seeing online that transportation to Zakopane from Krakow was possible via train or bus, we decided to go on this tour to save time and energy in planning this trip. The tour guide was excellent! He was friendly from the very moment we met him and talked about the history of Krakow and Zakopane along the way. It was a 2 hour journey, and we made our way to the traditional wooden house where we met a wood sculptor and saw the interior of this amazing structure. Then, we went to the Zakopane museum which went into depth into the architecture and stylistic motifs of its woodwork (which was a really cool experience btw. We were given audio headsets and the narrator would change its information based on the room you walked into. There was plenty of info to take in). Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side that day, cloudy which later turned into heavy rains and a thunderstorm once we went up to Gubalowka by the funicular! Had it been clear skies, the Zakopane museum had some amazing views already even though we hadn't climbed in altitude yet, when we looked outside the windows you could see the beautiful forest with little wooden houses scattered all over and (what I think was) a glimpse of the mountains' peak too. We also went for the traditional cheese tasting, with our tour guide paying for our cheese and giving what he recommended. Finally, we made it to the funicular, going up what was actually only a 5 minute ride! At the top was supposed to be the breathtaking view across the balcony, which we were unable to see because of the rain and thick clouds. We settled in a cafe instead and shortly went back down to look through the many market stalls offering traditional leather, cheese, jams, wooden sculptures and other souvenirs native not only just to Poland, but to the highland culture of Zakopane itself. It genuinely was such a shame that the weather wasn't on our side, but that was beyond our control so I can't reduce my stars on this review for something that was out of their hands. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed the multitude of places and activities we went to that day. I'd definitely recommend keeping track of the weather before you plan a trip here, if possible. Although the skies did clear up once we made our way back... So we got to see the beauty of the mountains from the road at least. I plan to return to Zakopane one day to see that view hopefully!

    Excellent walking tour
An excellent walking tour. Our guide Greg seemed to be very knowledgeable. The group was small which is always great. I would have preferred fewer stops / short breaks but for the majority of people it will be just fine. Very glad overall.

Where do I begin, pick up was a disaster. We were on the given location well before agreed time, jet they called and blamed us for not being on time and the bus driver had to wait for us. When I clarified that it was impossible since we’ve been on the location for 20 minutes and there have been no bus to be found, then the bus comes around the corner which was another address than the one the agency themself had sent us. Then well on the bus the tour guide was going through the agenda and it became clear to me that the lunch which were included in the price was not on the agenda. Just to clear things out, the day before when I ordered the tickets, I had specified the allergies as well as texted in the chat which nuts that we were allergic too, a long side another question about the pick up time. They totally ignored the allergy part and just replied on the time and directions. So when I then figured out that there was no lunch on the agenda (on a 8 hour trip), I wrote to the tour agency to get some clarification on why we didn’t get our lunch, and they just answered me saying that I had done wrong in the booking. I answered back that I find that odd since I had the option to actually put in allergies and also typed to them about those allergies. On the booking confirmation it says it’s pickup and lunch alternative, so after some back and forward they basically just said that I had messed up. Even if that were the case, how can they try to talk themselves out of not answering my questions? The agency only answered in the questions they felt to answer. This is by far the worst costumer service I’ve come across, and that comes from a guy that has been backpacking around the world. I know the answer that the agency is gonna answer with in the comments is that they will only reply with “you did not book it” or some other nonsense like that, because that’s been their argument the whole time instead of taking responsibility as a company. We were 14 people on this trip and everything was rushed, so my counter argument to their total bs is when we’re we supposed to eat lunch? We have had a maximum of 15 minutes break on a 7-8 hour trip. On top of that they had messed up the names in the tickets, which normally wouldn’t matter as much as it dose now after all the complications and horrific costumer service. The bus driver was just as bad a driver as he had a bad attitude, angry and rude is just his first name. Almost a few cyclist getting hit later, we arrived back in Krakow. 10/10 would NEVER recommend anyone to book any services from these guys (not even my worst enemy). My intention of writing this is not to get a refund at all, I just don’t want this company to scam any other visitors in the future.

    Best people to book with
From local pick up in comfy minibus to being dropped back off we felt looked after. When we arrived at Auschwitz our guide was so lovely. We didn't catch her name but she was so informed an caring ,(we had older people in group). She ensured everyone was okay at all times. Although the trip was sad and upsetting due to nature of it, we enjoyed it so much. This was down to it being very very organised. We would recommend this company as they took care of everything for you. First class service at a reasonable price

    Poor communication
Pick up very chaotic... numerous companies stopping at stop just calling out names. Not giving where they were going or what company they were. Our tour was 8.30. We rang before nine to be told they were on the way. Our guide arrived at 9am and the bus wasn't there until 9.30. No information on way to tour. At this stage we were waiting since 8.15am we got to mines for 10am with no break for bathroom or coffee. Salt mines itself was amazing just a little more attention to detail for transport. More customer service required.

We have informed, more then week before the event start that we can't go, becouse of the leg injury. Few days before they was calling to say that they have buy us ticket and if we want we can come. Even partial refund was impossible. After long conversation, they said we will try what we can do, but after hour we get message that they don't do nothing. Diferent story about Wieliczka Salt Mine, tickets we bought straight from them, and refund was immediately, because it's not unusual situation.

We've had a great experience with our guide. The man had great knowledge about the Krakow and the Juddisch Quarter, he had been a guide for 17 years. He shared a lot of knowledge with us and we liked his quotes and jokes. He took his time the answer our questions and shared not only general knowledge about the Juddisch Quarter, but also some personal stories.

We ended up walking and talking for 3,5 hours in stead of 3 hours which we liked. In that time we walked around 5-6 kilometres.

We would definitely recommend!

This was an extremely informative and well-organised tour. Our guide's knowledge of the area was richly detailed and he communicated this well while managing the group's movements competently. While some of the the content of the tour was obviously harrowing, the guide managed to weave in moments of lightness or humour when talking about the area more generally. We also received many historical facts about Krakow while walking to the Jewish quarter with the guide keeping us engaged throughout. I would recommend this tour unreservedly.

This walking tour is suitable for anyone first visiting Krakow or those looking to learn about the city’s long history covering the various kings and transition away from being the county’s capital city, review of synagogues and churches in the area, Jewish ghetto in 1940’s and Schindler who helped over 1200 Jews.

It’s a comfortable 3 hour walk from the Old Town to the south side of the river in Podgorze finishing at Schindlers Factory. The whole experience is fascinating as saw remnants of Jewish life from the 1400’s to 1943 when the last of Jewish population was removed from the city.

The guide allows questions on route and is extremely knowledgeable about Polish history and Krakow as a whole. It’s incredible value and a no brainer for those looking to gain huge insight into the city.

Had a very interesting and informative tour around the Jewish quarter. Our guide was very knowledgeable and could even point to some of the historic people he had met first hand. The tale of the Jewish life and what happened to them is not exactly a happy one but is a very important one and I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn more about the history of the area.

Walkative Jewish Krakow
It was a amazing trip around Jewish Kraków with Tomasz (Big Tom) as his knowledge of this subject is immense.
His storytelling is second to none, and he brought the stories to life with photos and his personality.
I would highly recommend this walking tour, and if it's with Tomasz, then i know that you're in for a real treat.
It's a geet canny tour like...!
Whey Aye Tomasz...

NOTE:
Don't forget that this is a free walking tour, the guide only makes a living by the tips they receive at the end of the tour. Make sure you show your appreciation by giving them a reasonable tip.

We found the tour both interesting and educational. Our guide (Conrad) was very informative and courteous throughout the three hour tour (including the much needed 15 minute coffee break), and both his English and knowledge of the subject matters were excellent. Alas, thanks to coronavirus, we (a family of five) were his first customers for months.

Very knowledgeable guide. Nice small group (8). This is for people interested in detail re local Jewish history & ‘famous’ people. Perhaps for me a little too much detail and not a huge amount re Schindler etc. but that is my issue as tour does what it says on the tin! We also visited the main cynagogue. Approx 3 hours. Guide recommended we also visit Schindler factory museum so that complimented this tour nicely

Met in the square by our guide 'Jack' Friendly welcome. Walked towards the Jewish Quarter . Jack was a mine of information and was passionate about what he was telling us. Stopped for coffee, which was very welcome. His story telling in the Ghetto was fascinating. Walked to Schindler's Enamel Factory where the tour ended. Quite a walk, but he did so at the group's pace. Would highly recommend a walking tour as we felt we missed nothing.
