    Discover Cracow Tours
    Stop: 60 minutes
Meet your private driver-guide at your centrally located Krakow hotel at your chosen start time, and board your comfortable electric car. Seating up to five passengers, these small, quiet and environmentally responsible cars are perfect for accessing the old and narrow lanes of Krakow Old Town especially, where many areas are closed to traffic. Settle in behind your guide and enjoy a fascinating tour of this beautiful royal city. As you travel, the quietness of the car allows you to chat to your guide and hear their informative commentary on the passing attractions. If it’s rainy or cold, the car is equipped with transparent covers, blankets and heating so you can still see the sights in comfort. Drive into the UNESCO-listed Old Town and explore the main square, Rynek Główny. Admire its showpiece building, the Cloth Hall, as your guide charts the history of this splendid building. Then, take in other key sights, soaking up the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture of the district and landmarks such as the Barbican — the city’s medieval defensive tower. Delve into the former Jewish neighborhood of Kazimierz and ride past its quaint merchants' houses and historical synagogues. Then, trace the story of the Holocaust in the Podgórze district, the war-era Jewish Ghetto. View Ghetto Heroes Square and Oskar Schindler’s Factory, where Schindler employed many Jews, thereby saving them from near-certain death. Having explored the sights, cruise back to your hotel where your tour ends.

    Amazing statuary.
Really neat place. Adequate guide. Amazing statuary, carved out of rock salt, at least some of it carved by miners without formal art training.

Excellent tour and guide - Discover Krakow
Essential to any Krakow visit, we did the Discover Krakow tour. Our tour guide was Australian/Polish. Humorous and informative, he was able to highlight the main exhibition essentials - ideal as you could literally spend a full day here (shame we didn’t have more time), and August is obvious really busy. Book a tour with this company, to gain a authentic experience. The exhibition covers wartime Krakow, the displays and contents are remarkable and you are transported back to this sad time in history, and the Schindler story. Guide also highlighted off the beaten track activities in Krakow, always great to have such recommendations. The museum itself was crowded but again, being on the tour was great as we didn’t waste time which helped with the attention span of the young teens !

    Unmissable
The Salt Mines are not to be missed: a jaw-dropping experience in scale and human ingenuity. Great guide - witty and full of facts. 2.5 hours very well-spent. Would recommend the private car to get you there and back too.

    Fascinating place to visit
We did this tour when visiting Kraków. The bus picked us up at the meeting point along with a number of other visitors on time. Our guide at the mine was knowledgeable, humorous and spoke good English. It was a shame that it was not always possible to hear him as the group was quite large and also the guide from the group after us did a lot of shouting. We were also rushed back to the bus at the end of the tour also, only just enough time to nip to the loo! The salt mine is a fascinating place to visit and learn about and would recommend taking a tour here we just wish it didn't feel so rushed. If we visited again we would definitely look into seeing if there was a smaller group option.

    Could be better organised
1 problem they cancelled my tickets 2nd I did get an email to replace the just a text message so had to try and sort it all out myself. The get your guide operator was just stood to the side of the building, lucking after walking around, waiting and trying to enter I found him and allnhe did was stove the tickets in mybhand and tell me to go in. When inside, in my opinion there are far too many people in at one time, if you get stuck behind a tour group good luck and rhe guides were rude and thought theybowned the place not letting anyone else have a look-in. The best part once inside was watching the film of people who had been there and lived it.

    Worth every penny!
This exceeded our expectations and is well worth booking! We had great hosts in a lovely coach where we were driven the short 20 minute drive to a really lovely traditional restaurant. The meal, unlimited food and drink buffets and meal were all very good and the inclusive entertainment something we won't forget!

Transport to get there - and waiting by tour provider poor. Mine itself and internal tour guide was outstanding
Getting there was a faff Changed times twice Very disorganised Told to be early and then told to wait there. So we stood waiting for ages in the rain at the salt mine! Once there the tour provided by the the mine was outstanding

    Fake company!
Dont use this company! I paid almost 600 zloty to visit the saltmine - in the understanding that we would have a guided tour with Discover Cravow. But when we met the guide, all she did, was give us pur tickets and point in the direction of the mine. If we have bought the tickets in the machine, I would have saved almost 300 zloty. This is an indland business model, so if you want to visit the mine, just go by bus and buy your tickets on site. You will have the same experience and save a lot of money

    Great tour, would recommend
Really good tour with excellent communication. Sadly our tour time had to be changed a couple of times by provider, luckily this wasnt an issue for us. The tour was informative and our tour guide was excellent, engaged the group and made the experience more enjoyable. Would recommend!

    Great museum and exhibition
I spent a very enjoyable couple of hours here, on a Saturday afternoon. The exhibits include artefacts from the royal family, as well as ancient Greek sculptures. Included in the paintings are the Rembrandt and Da Vinci. As mentioned by others, I would recommend getting the audio guide.

Trash Tour Company, Avoid Like the Plague!! Don't get scammed too!!!
Trash Company, you should be ashamed. "Discover Cracow Tours" minus 5 stars! The Salt Mines were great. The guide though was terrible. We were not late at all and still the van that was supposed to take us after the tour left us there!! Upon finding two people from Iceland from the same group as us, they told us that they were in the same situation as well. The driver just left and when called he would repeatedly just hang up on the call on purpose. They will 100% reply to me something along the lines "Are you sure you booked with us?", yes I'm sure, ***Discover Cracow Tours*** is trash. Don't get fooled, this company is a scam.

Great to see just not given long enough when walking round
Really interesting seeing how salt is extracted seems that we were always being rushed and with the large group you are in we could not hear the guide also a lot is not explained. Seemed a shame there is so much to see and photograph but you are not given the time as there was always another group behind us. Great to see needs longer on the talks not for anyone with a disability as there is a lot of walking and steps

    Great experience
We were picked up on time. Driver was friendly. Arrived and had 10 minutes to use the toilets etc our guide Beata spoke very good English, slowly and was extremely knowledgeable. The mine itself was beautiful, the walk was fairly easy and really interesting. The only negative would be the slight lack of time in the shop at the end but otherwise a wonderful experience. Booked through vialtor

Had an email to say driver would meet us at 5pm outside our hotel. 5.15 still no driver. Contacted company who said they would contact him. He then text me to say he would meet us in a different place 15 min walk away. We got there to discover he only had a 5 seater car when we had booked for 6. The driver wasn’t very helpful and said he would phone company. They eventually text me to say we could book for the next day and have two cars!! We had other arrangements for the next day so said no. I asked for a refund which they agreed to. The only good thing was that I got the refund within 48 hours.

The little car was right on time for us and took us on an excellent tour around Krakow. The tour was in English with our guide playing recordings with lots of information through a very good speaker system. Our guide also gave us extra information in very good English. Our guide even stopped to let us take some pictures of one of the oldest churches taking us inside to have a look. It was a very cold day but the car had heating. The guide showed us some areas we would never had found on our own. During our ride round the market the police had an area cordoned off so at the end of the tour our guide took the time to show us good photographs he had on his phone of the bit we couldn't see and showed us those instead apologising profusely even though it wasn't his fault. The only criticism I had was one at myself in that I wish we had done this tour towards the beginning of our stay rather than at the end.

Four of us did a private tour for 3 hours although we got stuck in Schindler's museum so it ended up being over 4 hours at no extra cst. Our guide was brilliant - really accommodating, letting us get in and out when we wanted. We all thought this was the best tour we have EVER done! There is no way we would have seen what we did in the time. Comfortable golf buggy's, all electric, great audio. It was just fantastic - nothing negative to say. We were thrilled so gave our guide a handsome tip. Go!

We used an electric car (tuktuk) within hours of arrival so that once the four of us had had a guided tour we would know where to visit over the 4 days and how to get to them. It was a good way of 'finding your bearings'. People are very friendly, food is lovely and very reasonably priced. Loved every minute of my second visit to Krakow, so much so I am planning a third visit.

We chose this as a last shot at seeing the city before leaving. We took the Ghetto and Jewish Quarter tour. Our driver was great, gave us information as well as the audio track. There was a lot of information on the track, easy to listen to and perfect English. The guide let us stop and get off if we wanted to. My only complaint was I wanted to see inside the synagog but as that was our last stop we had to choose a destination close to the old town to get dropped off.
I’d be careful of pricing, take a good look around before jumping in like we did.

Decided to do this on our first day so that we could get our bearings and also to give us an opportunity to re-visit any sites during our stay. We chose the English tour so the guide spoke good English and the headphones were also in English. A cold day but the car had heating. Good way to see some of the sights in Krakow especially the Jewish area and also included a visit to Schlndler's factory (block booking so we bypassed the queue although you will need to pay to get in)

Had a lovely tour with Igur today. His very good English meant we were able to have him tell us about the sites rather than the audio. He was very pleasant and welcoming and ensured we were comfortable. Vehicle was warm and comfy!

We did the 3 areas and highly recommend - we’d never of found some of the sites
