Great guide Damian who had plenty of knowledge about Krakow. Not a lot of walking involved so not too taxing. Recommended.

Pick up on time and from convenient location. Knowledgeable friendly driver who kept us organised. Tour guide Sebastian was brilliant. Took us round and explained everything with a lot of respect and empathy. Learnt so much in the few hours we were there. Highly recommended.

        Amazing place.
Stunning in every respect, amazing to see the statues and the stunning natural caverns. It’s a very long walk and an equally long walk to get out again.

        Amazing experience
We had a great experience from start to finish. The ride from Krakow to Auschwitz was a little over an hour. Once we got to Auschwitz, we met our tour guide, Anna, who was amazing. She was so well spoken and thorough in her delivery from start to finish. She gave many details about each part of the tour and connected each part. She would also reference back to parts we already saw which was nice. You do move quickly through certain parts but We felt as though there was enough time to see everything. Pictures are allowed in MOST parts but your guide will tell you when you are not allowed if you choose to take any. She ended the tour in a beautiful way and left our group with a beautiful saying and reminder about how we are still here and to be grateful for that. We need to remember what happened so it doesn't happen again. *There is A LOT of walking and can get tiring but it really put into perspective what it was like for those that experienced it daily. We also opted for the bagged lunch and it was great. There was a lot of food for the price and had a variety of items (sandwich, apple, banana, bottle of water, juice box, cookies, tissues, mints). There was a 10-15 min break in the middle.

        Krakow Walking Food Tour
Magda was a great guide. She spoke very good English and was easy to understand. Her knowledge of the local area, history and culture was excellent as well as the cuisine. The food was very good, but bring your appetite. There was a lot of food. I’d highly recommend the tour.

Be prepared for walking but it’s worth it!
We made our own way to the Salt Mine and would recommend, we got the train from Krakow as it’s a direct line and the mine is the final stop so it’s very easy and cheap too. The Salt Mine was amazing but be prepared to do a lot of walking! Our guide was very friendly, informative and had a great sense of humour. The chapel was especially beautiful, and to think that the tourist route only shows you 1% of the mine is a crazy thought! Not too much range at the restaurant but can’t go wrong with nuggets and fries 😂

YOU GOTTA LIKE SALT..( and stairs)
I can only re-iterate what many reviewers have written...lots of walking and would not recommend if you have mobility issues or are claustrophobic. The female guide I think named Patricia did a sterling job showcasing the Salt mines, amazing place which to my ignorance I was unaware of until we booked our trip to Krakow. The church was spectacular incredible to think the miners did this all by hand, so take time to appreciate it all. I'm pleased we did this trip and Auschwitz on two separate days as I can't understand how you could possibly see everything in one day and the Auschwitz-Birkenau tour should never be rushed. The transport from our hotel was straightforward and only took 30 mins.

Make sure you have your walking boots on!
This is certainly a unique experience but not one for people with mobility issues or who simply don’t like walking too much! From the several hundred steps down to the first level to the 3+ hours of walking afterwards it’s a fair workout… I was just thankful for the elevators at the end lol. In between those there was a lot of caves and a lot of salt so it really does do what it says on the can. Some areas are quite breathtaking to be honest though I must admit it’s not a trip I’d do twice. It’s also possible that this could be done cheaper just through local buses and buying admission tickets on-site.

Start point right by our hotel The Sheraton in mini van about 12 people. Guide very interesting clear and informative. Funicular trip included . We had lunch at the top. Small church with black Madonna copy and lovely graveyard is worth a visit. Multitude of artisan shops and cafes. Stopped at a village with lovely wooden houses on outward journey, Guide very clear on meeting times and places for return. Dropped off in town centre on return. A good day made excellent by the guide

Booked through Discover Cracow Tours online from Australia, months prior to arrival. This company impressed with their excellent communications right from the start. Vouchers are emailed for print-out, with full set of instructions for meeting point in Krakow City.
We had 3 persons on our tour and the guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Very impressed with his manner.
My review is titled 'Not Long Enough' - you can spend ideally a few days here as the scenery is spectacular and being out of the cities is a welcome change. Poland has some incredibly beautiful natural wonders and sights - perfect for photographers and nature lovers alike.
Do yourself a favour and visit Zakopane and Kudowa-Zdroj - just two of some of the most beautiful places in Poland.
We went end of September and the snow was definitely falling and it was chilly up in the mountains - take gloves and coats and enjoy!

I would highly recommend this trip. Was really nice to get out of the city and see a different side to Poland. Was worth the 2 hour journey and by far my favourite day trip.
Trip was very well organised and the driver arrived 10 minutes early.
The trip for me was made by our tour guide Jak. He answered any questions and clearly very knowlagable about the area. Had so many interesting facts to tell us about Zakapone and loads of inforamtion during the drive to and from the place. Was nice that he built rapport with us throughout the day.

The trip itself was great, our guide Matthew (Mateusz) was efficient and knew his stuff. He made sure that we saw all the main sights and organised our run up the mountain on the funicular railway. We had plenty of free time for lunch and shopping and looking at the architecture. The meadows and mountains are truly stunning. We had an unexpectedly beautiful day and made the very most of it. We had a small Mercedes bus seating about 15, clean and comfortable.
      Booking online was easy.

i visited the tatra mountains from Krakow, the place itself was worth the journey, the scenery was amazing, their where lots of market stalls at the base of the mountains. selling all kinds of localy produced wares, our guide was very knowledgable and could talk the hind legs of a donkey. The town itself was very quaint, but rather steep.worth the walk. The only downside was the attitude of the servers in the restaurant, they seemed rather put out to having to serve us.In all it was a very nice trip.

I can not recommend this tour enough which was made even better by our outstanding guide Krzysztof! His abundance of knowledge and enthusiasm made this trip one to remember.

On the journey to Zakopane we had a comfort break, stopped at a traditional highlander house and even crossed the boarder into Slovakia. Arriving in Zakopane we had a coffee break/second breakfast and then visited the local museum. We then visited an original highlander church before riding the funicular to the top of Mt.Gubalowka. We witnessed amazing views and tucked into a tasty traditional goulash. We were then given free time to explore Zakopane before journeying back to Kraków.

We were greeted at the pick up point by our guide Jacek and driver Marek. Both were very polite and professional. The weather throughout the day was awful but obviously that's just one of this things that can't be helped. Our guide Jacek was great, full of information and didn't stop from collection right through to being dropped off later on that day. With the weather being so bad Jacek did fantastically well making sure that the day was still an enjoyable one.
First we stopped off at a place called Chochołów which was a small village where the majority of the houses were made out of wood. We called in to a typical "Highlander's" house where there was a bloke carving stuff out of wood. Was more interesting than it sounds.
From there we stopped off at one of the many cheese making huts en route to Zakopane. Here we tried some of the cheeses and some of the incredibly strong vodka. After here we made it to Zakopane where we visited two churches and a cemetery. We then called in to a museum for approx 50 mins and then went for lunch and a wander around the town. After lunch we took the funicular railway to look at the mountains. As it was raining we didn't see a great deal but thats nobody's fault. Afterwards we took the funicular back down and wandered through the market at the bottom and then back to the bus.
All things considered Jacek did an amazing job keeping us entertained and finding things of interest to do with the weather being so dreadful so I can only commend him for this.

One of the best tours we have been at. Jacek our tour guide really made a lot of effort to keep everyone entertained and made us laugh lots of times. His knowledge about Zakopane history and culture is outstanding we would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have a good time and learn about Polish history and culture. The trip went very smooth just too short!

Well organise, great company and good guide.

From the moment we got on the bus we were made welcome. The guide was warm and friendly and was there to make our day as enjoyable as possible. The group of people were lovely and we soon made new friends.

Our guide was very knowledgable and there were plenty of places to see and plenty of things to do. On a good day I think the views from the Tatra Mountain would be wonderful but if its raining I would take the option to stay in Zakopane and do some more exploring.

This was a smaller group tour from Krakow. It was about a 3 hr drive from the city, along mostly major highways.
Unfortunately, the weather was rainy and chilly, but it did clear enough to get some great views!
In the town, we had free time for lunch and shopping.
The group visited an interesting little folklife museum, complete with an authentic wooden cabin.
Our guide was very nice and informative, giving us a lot of background information on history, geography, etc of the area. A very enjoyable day, despite the weather.
