Itinerary
- 1We want to invite you on a fascinating journey through the world of The Witcher and the history of one of the most beautiful castles in Poland. Noteworthy are the ruins of the castle in Ogrodzieniec, which has a rich and interesting history. This picturesque place attracts artists and filmmakers. Movies like “Revenge” from the famous polish director Andrzej Wajda and scenes to the international Netflix blockbuster, The Witcher, were shot in the castle and nearby rocks. Following in the footsteps of Geralt of Rivia, you will encounter first hand the magical places of the series accompanied by our knowledgeable guides. The world created by Andrzej Sapkowski has become a hit, and the Witcher game series are raising popularity records. The history of the castle dates back to the fourteenth century. Our tour is not only for fans of Geralt, but also for people who want to discover the magic of the Jura region. Toss a coin to your Witcher, O’ Valley of Plenty.

- Charis C0 contributionsA tribute to history and humanityThis tour should not be missed by anyone visiting Katowice. Time flown as our guide tried to give us the most during the visits to the two concentration camps. She was really outstanding. Our driver Kamil was also very friendly, punctual and always in place to give us the necessary information and tried to make our traveling as pleasant and comfortable .Written December 1, 2024
- georginaf7180 contributionsAmazing Tour, with A+ HostAmazing from pick up to drop off,Kamila our host was very helpful and couldn't do enough for us, she made sure we knew exactly what was happening during the day. The trip it's self was fantastic, worth every penny.Written October 13, 2024
- G3215BXsharons0 contributionsGreat day out!Great day out from start to finish, our driver was lovely, very chatty, helpful and made us feel like we mattered. Salt mines were excellent- well worth a visit but alot of walking/steps!Written September 29, 2024
- cosmini930 contributionsOur trip got cancelled the night beforeWe didn’t even get to see it as they cancelled it the night before and didn’t even bothered to email us, it was only because I went to double check the pickup times realised they’ve cancelled itWritten September 20, 2024

- llinosh3880 contributionsNo idea as we never got to do it.Buyer beware. We failed to go on this trip Viator and Silesia Trip & Hotels told us its our fault. Book if you want to risk going all the way to mot do the trip. Here is what you must do. Ignore the fact you choose a time and a limited number of hotels for the pick up point The day before you will receive a voucher that has your ageed pick up point on but no time. Do not message them via Trip Advisor it will come back saying they are closed and opening time is 9am Monday Our trip was Sunday and the message sent Saturday. ignore the fact it says they are closed they will respond 3 hours and 17 minutes later Stay in your hotel so you have internet access and wait they will reply eventually. Instead ring them and you will have a long repetitive conversation with a gentleman who will keep telling you to listen and it's not their problem as 25 other people knew what to do. They will offer you the opportunity to buy the whole trip again at the full price once, don't argue as that will be immediately withdrawn and they will inform you it is buyer beware. You are responsibility to know the time will not be the one you booked and that is your fault. you will request a refund and be told the same your fault no refund.Written March 13, 2024
- MelindaB5400 contributionsEvery person should consider visiting.Overall the tour was incredible. The driver to Auschwitz was absolutely lovely and the experience was worth it. Every person should consider visiting to understand a little more about this horrific period. We absolutely recommend it. One negative - on the Tripadvisor tickets and email confirmation there was no pick up time confirmed for the tour, only the office location for pickup and hours 9-5pm. In the morning of the tour, we weren't the only ones confused about the pick up time. My Tripadvisor online messages were not answered from the day before, however when I called the office they did confirm a time. It was a little stressful as the office no longer exists in Katowice and it looks deserted. Either Tripadvisor or the booking platform/tour company should inform people with pickup times. Luckily it worked out for everyone!Written October 1, 2023
- adampT4267YX0 contributionsDifficult to hear and see all of it.Emotional and hard to take in all that went on. I couldn’t finish the tour it was so emotional difficult for me.Written June 15, 2023
- felipeguillermoc0 contributionsExcellent guideThe driver was very kind. He excused himself on his english not being the best, but was resourceful enough to use google translate to fill the gaps. The educator/guide for the english tour was excellent. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the camps and his care about the place shows. The tour is a little bit quick-paced so try to stay close to the guide or you may miss some info (there was some interference on the audio system because of the rain). I usually don't like guided tours, but I totally recommend this one.Written May 6, 2023
- JoseDivora0 contributionsGood history lessonIt was a good experience. Camps I and II are pretty big and can take up a whole day yo do both camps. During certain times you are not allowed to tour by yourself and must purchase a guided tour. Wasn't a fan of it but some of the building have weight limits due to their age.Written April 26, 2023
- Arlinda B0 contributionsExcellentReally well organised and informative tour. Tour guide very knowledgeable. Very responsive to any queries and able to contact directly and via watsapp. Really helpful as due to another tour operator cancelling at the last minute we were unable to book another tour from Krackow and we were able to arrange to meet them at Autswitz and they helped us get the bus back.Written April 10, 2023
- 541jaceks0 contributionsGreat Nikiszowiec TourGreat tour of the mining town of Nikiszowiec. The guide was very knowledgeable about the town, and the history of the region.Written April 10, 2022
- nikitakou0 contributionsAuschwitz Tour FailBooked the Auschwitz tour 2 days ahead, all confirmed. Picked up on time. Then we got there, they couldn't get us tickets to get in. So essentially we just went for a ride to Oswiecim and back to Katowice, a real waste of time. Needless to say we were refunded and the tour leader was apologetic, but I expect a tour company to be able to get the basics right and be aware of up-to-date Covid ticket limits.Written January 3, 2022
- hernan_gold0 contributionsOrganised, reliable and friendlyThe trip to Auschwitz was excellently organised; I was picked up from my hotel on time, the car was clean, the staff were friendly, very helpful and spoke perfect English. It was outstanding. I would 100% recommend them.Written August 16, 2020
