Dear traveler, from March 2020 there is a new law in Auschwitz-Birkenau and booking with a lot of time in advance is the only way to be sure about going on this tour. Buying the ticket directly there is almost impossible.

Our driver, Piotr, was amazing and was very prompt. He even provided suggested activities on what to do in Poland and little guides of things we were passing by on the side of the road. Our tour guide in the camps itself (unfortunately I cannot remember his name!!) was also so amazing and I highly recommend. The company cancelled the tour the evening before citing that “the activity could not go ahead due to a political event taking place at the destination”. This was not true. Fortunately I was able to book last minute with another company who got us to Auschwitz without a problem. I wonder whether the original company tend to overbook their spaces then end up cancelling some people’s places. We, 2 brothers and a sister, were very impressed by what we saw, felt and heard. Everyone should have seen this. Although it was the second time for me and the first time for my brother and sister, all of this touched me just like it did the first time. We had an amazing experience thanks to our tour assistant, Janek. He was incredibly helpful, professional, and friendly throughout the entire tour. He and tour guide Marek’s extensive knowledge and genuine subject enthusiasm made the experience both informative and enjoyable. I do not recommend this tour operator, we booked a tour in Spanish to see the Auschwitz-Birkenau memorial and less than 24 hours before the tour they called us to cancel the tour in Spanish.
The only alternative they offered was either to refund our money or to do it in English at a different time than the one we had chosen. Obviously with such little time we had no choice but to choose the English tour if we wanted to see the memorial.
At the very least we expected a discount for the inconvenience caused or an audio guide in Spanish and neither of the two alternatives were provided by the tour operator.
As for the tour, at the beginning of it they will offer you headphones through which you will listen to the guide. The problem is that during the visit there were so many people that when the guide entered a room he began to explain and did not wait for everyone in the room. tour were seeing what he was telling, well, when you arrived at the room the guide was already in another one.
A disaster of experience with this tour operator.

Sorry to hear you couldn't go on the tour as planned. Unfortunately, this is outside of our control, it is the Museum who decides about the availability of the guides. For a guided tour you can enter the Museum ONLY with the Museum guides and their number is very limited. We still try to do everything we can not to dissapoint our customers, that's why we offer you alternatives if the tour you booked is unavailable that day.
As I mentioned before, unfortunately, we have absolutely no control over the MUSEUM guides, neither their availability nor the way they show their groups around.
We, as well as every other tour company, always try to organise the guided tour but it is the staff of the Museum who decides if they have the availability or not.
And without the Museum guide we can't organise a guided tour.
It is impossible to have an audio-guide in Spanish or any other language as the Museum simply doesn't have those.

I flew into Krakow the day before my scheduled trip to Auschwitz. I had purchased train tickets for the following morning from Krakow to Oświęcim early in the morning. We received a notification the day before that the trip to Auschwitz was pulled forward from 9am to 8am. This would have resulted in additional cost to book new train tickets at my own cost. No adjustment has been offered for this inconvenience, despite speaking to the booking office

Agency without any professionalism. The agency canceled our paid visit by email the day before, which had been booked for a month, leaving us unprepared. If you need to visit the camps, do so directly on the Auschwitz website to avoid unpleasant surprises.

All I can say is do not use this company. I was booked to visit Auschwitz as part of a bucket list visit for my terminally ill mother. I received a WhatsApp message from Legendary informing me that my original booking had been pulled forward by almost 2 hours. I responded to the text (no response), I e-mailed (no response), and I called the "emergency telephone number (no answer). When I got through to someone on the day, she kept saying that I was late for the tour, so she could do nothing. I explained that I travelled to Poland just for this - she wasn't interested and unwilling to help me. She did give me some friendly advice: don't book tours on the same day you arrive in the country - nice one! I would avoid it at all costs!

No me dieron ninguna solución, y estuve intentando hablar con ellos media tarde y noche, sin recibir contestación. Al final no puede hacerlo por cambiarme la hora. Había cogido un hotel solo para esta excursión y me la fastidiaron. Sin duda muy decepcionante. No la recomiendo para nada. I booked 3 tickets for Saturday at 11am. When I booked it it said that I had to be at the meeting point 15 min in advance. The day before in the afternoon I received a msg saying that I had to be at the meeting point at 8:35am, 2 hours before and that If I didn’t agree they said they would refund me.

Sorry to hear you were dissapointed but this is how the tours work. It is the Museum that assigns us guides as well as the entrance times. Before booking you have the information that the time you are choosing is approximate and subject to change. By finalising the reservation you agree to our company's policy, therefore possibity of changing the starting time. The Museum always gives us the exact starting time in the afternoon one day before the tour, that's why we also send the confirmations in the afternoon one day before the tour.

I’ve booked Auschwitz-Birkenau guided tour many days in advance but few hours before they cancelled the tour saying the Museum did that a cause of too many visitors! They told to go to ticket Office and buy again tickets going at 8 am!!!!
It’s a shame. I came here ok visit only for this with my sons.
