- NE15940 contributionsGreat tourFantastic city boat cruise with beautiful views throughout Knowledgeable and friendly tour guide who shared interesting insights Relaxing way to see the city from a unique perspective Well-paced with plenty of photo opportunities Highly recommend for anyone wanting a fun and informative tour on the waterWritten October 25, 2024
- claudiafC4468KS0 contributionsMust-do, beautiful tour of Gdansk. This is a must-do tour in Gdansk if you would like to get an overview of the geography of the city. Our guide was lively and animated and made the various buildings we passed come alive with his interesting stories. We were blessed with excellent weather which was particularly wonderful as the traditional Polish boat we were in was open. I would definitely recommend this tour.Written October 24, 2024
- Ana3330 contributionsNot great - you’ll get more info crossing a bridgeAfter a bit of a trek to find the boat, it really was a very basic trip down the canal. No detail about most of the architecture apart from a few key buildings which any visitor would know. Lots of potential but not worth paying for this trip.Written October 16, 2024
- TundraHill0 contributionsNot wowedAfter reading the reviews for this tour we were expecting a better experience. Our guide had a speech impediment which made his English hard to understand, even for a native speaker. He tried to crack jokes which came out as a very dry or incomprehensible. He didn’t have much passion for what he was doing and you got the feeling he was going through the motions. Despite this being marked as an English language tour he still spoke in Polish aswell for a Polish couple which spoiled the flow of the commentary. The actual boat trip was relaxing and a relatively good way of seeing Gdansk from the water.Written October 11, 2024
- Neil H0 contributionsGreat tour, great guide, informative and fun.Fantastic and informative tour of central Gdansk on a very comfortable traditional boat. Both the driver and the guide were incredibly warm and welcoming and shared a lot of great knowledge of the history of Gdansk, its industry and buildings. The guide had a great sense of humour and very good English to keep us all very well informed and amused throughout the tour. We would highly recommend.Written October 10, 2024

- matthewwD6076KD0 contributionsWonderful tourOur tour guide was great, was very knowledgeable, full of interesting information and spoke English very well. The meeting place by the Green Gate was perfect and away from the other meeting place where many drivers try to book their trips.Written September 30, 2024

- marionbK2275UD0 contributionsWe love Gdańsk- see it from the river!!!The start of our Polish adventure! Seven family and friends met up at the quayside - we were in Poland for my sons wedding a few days later. A bottle of bubbly at the docks and all aboard. The guide (Simon?) was fantastic- informative, hilarious and great fun. He made the trip a memorable one. The journey not only took us through beautiful Gdańsk for us to get our bearings but through the history of this stunning city. It helped us understand the modernisation and the resilience of the Polish people. We all agreed it was a great start to our time in Poland and after the holiday we all agreed that we live Gdansk and will return!Written September 13, 2024
- 339lindas3390 contributionsEnjoyable tripVery good and informative with very interesting history given. Staff were very helpful and being on a small boat able to ask questions easily rather than these larger boats . I would recommend the trip .Written September 13, 2024
- Drumcovitt0 contributionsReally good and unusual experienceFirstly we asked to change the time of our booking and this was done quickly and without fuss. The boats hold 12 passengers each. The commentary isn't amplified, so either sit close to the back or tell other passengers to be quiet. These are replica river boats and travel out to a beautiful calm area with water birds and trees. Just beautiful. We saw on the way the gigantic crane (which was operated by 40 men running in gigantic hamster wheels), lots of other craft of all sizes and learned a lot about the architecture and the rebuilding of the city after WW2. Loads of interesting stuff! Do wear something warm, it's always colder on the water. Don't stand up! And do be aware that you can be dropped off closer to the old town centre on the way back, near the Museum of the Second World War, you don't have to go all the way back to the docks.Written September 12, 2024
- Ian C0 contributionsGreat experience and guideAt first having seen some of the bigger boats, we wondered had we picked the wrong cruise. Absolutely not, there's a reason the boats have to be low to get under some of the bridges! Thoroughly enjoyed the cruise, and would highly recommend it. The guide was excellent with a great sense of humour.Written September 7, 2024
- paulrI4613MU0 contributionsNice open boat trip around the sights of Gdansk old townNice trip on an open boat around the sights of Gdansk old town. Nice small boat (max 12 people) with an English guide. Particularly enjoyed travelling out to the original bastion water defences which we had not seen. The guide was good, but needed to be more knowledgeable on the history of Gdansk to be "excellent". Very good value for money. No cover – umbrellas provided – so suspect less enjoyable in the rain.Written September 1, 2024
- 652elins0 contributionsGreat way to see GdańskFriendly crew. A bit hard to find the pick up point but overall a nice experience. I would recommend it if you want to go for the sea-nary not the guiding.Written September 1, 2024

An exciting moment to watch the sun go down on the construction sites in total silence, lulled by the water. Interesting and very satisfying tour in terms of duration, stories about the history and customs of Poland and the construction sites in particular (but not only) and the illuminated city with its nightlife seen from the river is scenic. I highly recommend it!

I booked this without realising it was a full blown guided tour of Gdansk, thinking it was just a casual trip around the city where you could have a few drinks, listen to some music and admire the views. Completely my fault for not reading the description properly!
As other reviews have mentioned, make sure you copy and paste the location link into Google Maps instead of Apple Maps. The meeting point is the Yard Cafe, where you can buy drinks to take on board with you.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and the weather was perfect, which allowed for some great pictures!

This is an extremely pleasant way to spend an evening in Gdańsk. The cruise was a bit slow to get moving, but they were just waiting for the sun to go down - understandable. Plus, it allowed for plenty of time to take photos.
The starting point was unfortunately difficult to find. Be sure to look for the “Yard Cafe” once you reach “Dokowa 1.” On foot, I had much better luck finding “Dokowa 1” via Google Maps rather than Apple Maps.
This was a lot of fun and reasonably priced to be a 90-minute experience!

We were disappointed that our cruise was cancelled on our recent trip to Gdansk. The cruise was cancelled because of crane works in the water and it was beyond their control, and I understand that the trip had to be cancelled. We had got a taxi to the embarkation point and had to get a taxi back to town, but we were only told that the cruise was cancelled when we got there - surely they could have let us know sooner to save us the cost of the taxis? The company have already refunded the cost and provided us with a voucher to use some other time, so they handled that well.
Just wish we could have been advised of the cancellation sooner.

Fabulous trip around Gdańsk waterways. Sadly the cloud interfered with the sunset. Hubert, our guide was very knowledgable and very witty. Highly recommend this trip, great value for money and very informative.

Took the Sunset trip this evening, while the clouds got in the way a bit it didn’t distract from the experience. A lovely way to see parts of the docks and into the city. Thoroughly recommended. We were on boat 5 and our guide was excellent.

Our guide was very entertaining and informative. Unfortunately I can't remember his name. Everyone was very nice and it was very familiar. I particularly liked the little details on the boats - the kerosene lamp, umbrellas and blankets. Everything was thought of. Thank you for the lovely trip.

Great tour very impressed with the guide and his knowledge. However the starting point is hard to find and seems a bit creepy and derelict when you arrive. However don't be put off by this. Great tour blankets provided and gets to places other tours can't get. Would 100 % recommend this tour. Well done to all.

I loved the interesting route, and the clear, intelligent explanations of the guide. It was nice that the guidance was by a real person and not by technical means.
I also liked that they had blankets for the cooler evenings.
The round trip was about 2 hours long but on the way back you could get off the boat next to the old town and not wait till the end of the tour.
One comment: the meeting point wasn’t clear enough from the instructions, maybe you should add a clarification such as: next to kiosk, near the water.
