About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- grs7480 contributionsCustomised and informativeI thoroughly recommend. Our guide was Martin and he was terrific. We customised a tour that met our needs and Martin was very informative giving us a history lesson as well as talking about the geography and local culture and customs. In the end our tour lasted 4 hours allowing us to see the Astronomical clock chime.Written October 3, 2024
- morgangT4830PT0 contributionsPetr is the Guide that you want for this Great TourIf you take this tour, go with Petr Kotlar. He was amazing! He was a fascinating guy and he went out of his way to make sure that we learned everything that we could about Prague and the sites we visited. He also made sure to move at just the right pace for us and stopped as many times as we needed to so that we could get plenty of pictures, rest for a minute (because neither my husband or I are in the best shape due to back injuries that are triggered by walking) or just tell us as much as he could about everything that we were seeing. When he dropped us off, he even gave us a list of places to go in Prague to eat, shop, etc. He was a fantastic tour guide! As for the tour itself, it was great. You got to see a good amount of the town and the cathedrals and the Church of the Bones were amazing! I hesitated at first to book this tour because I was worried that I would not have a long enough time to spend in the Church of the Bones, but Petr made sure that I got all the time that I wanted there so that wasn’t an issue. I highly recommend taking this tour with Petr!!!Written October 1, 2024
- old-man-orange0 contributionsLucy - herself - is an absolute pleasure !!We arrived in Prague by train from Vienna, settled into our hotel in Mala Strana neighborhood and proceeded to take the metro to the Centre. Following our iPhones and Apple Maps - we felt like we were walking around aimlessly.... so somehow, I found the phone number for Lucy Tours and spoke to Lucy - the owner - and decided to splurge of a private tour by car. Lucy booked us 2 days out with one of her colleagues. The next day our group tour to Cesky Krumlov cancelled last minute at 9 am - so we called, and Lucy answered - rearranging schedules and dropped what she saw doing and drove directly to our hotel with her Mercedes van and proceeded to start our tour. We told Lucy what we already saw in Prague the previous day. She started with the monastery, then the Castle and St Vitus ... then on to Jewish Quarters, ending with dropping at the Franz Klafka statue - as it revolved at the top of the hour. Taking a private driven tour is a bit of a splurge for us - but this time it was definitely worth every euro. Lucy's tour was well paced and her dialogue with us was just right - just enough talking. In addition, Lucy is a beautiful person inside and out, and without a doubt one of the best touring decisions we ever have made Thanks Lucy ... Cindy and PaulWritten September 29, 2024

- jessicawX936TS0 contributionsFabulous!Patrick was awesome and was such a treat to have as a private tour guide! His boat was gorgeous! This is a must do if ever in Prague! The views of Prague and his knowledge of the city and surrounding area was just amazing.Written September 28, 2024
- joyl4470 contributionsThe BestAn exceptionally well done tour. Amalka was one of the best tour guides I have ever enjoyed in any city. Her explanations were thorough and interesting — our time with her flew by so fast! She really brought the story of this incredible area and its people to life.Written September 24, 2024
- M5647NApatrickb0 contributionsFantasticMy brother and i really enjoyed this tour. The tour guide was excellent and she really knew her history. I would give her 5 stars just for herself.Written September 24, 2024
- dougd5860 contributionsExcellent tourWe had an exceptional time on this tour. Our tour guide (Sarka) was a perfect tour guide. She was personable and informative not only the points of interest, but our questions. The tour was well paced and Sarka was helpful in helping us locate music box for our granddaughter. I highly recommend this tour.Written September 16, 2024
- Cameron_James_880 contributionsPerfect for Couples, Families or small groupsPERFECT!!! Patrik was the perfect host, and passionate about his city. he was engaging and provided enough tour information while also giving us space to just enjoy the ride. this private tour was great value for money, highly personalised and it was nice to not be on a big "tourist" boat where there is nothing special about the experience. you will not regret booking this experience. Patrik ensured we had a wonderful night to remember in PragueWritten September 14, 2024
- Woodcliffmom0 contributionsIntro to PragueIvana took us all over old town and lesser town. There was a lot of walking but we covered many places and enjoyed a great day w her. There are many beautiful churches and historical buildings in Prague. She gave us a lot of information on the 1000 yr hx of Prague up to the present. Wear comfortable shoes and she will take you through a whirlwind hx of the beautiful city and nation .Written September 10, 2024
- Woodcliffmom0 contributionsBeautiful and macabreWe really enjoyed this trip to Kutna Hora. It is about 1 hour away from Prague. It is a beautiful working town. Was once an important silver mining town. Many beautiful churches. The Ossuary is extraordinary. We cannot take pictures out of respect for the dead but this is not a place to be missed. Because of so many dead bodies over the centuries, they decided to use these bones to make it into an impressive display of art. A macabre yet beautiful place. Our guide Peter was fabulous. The car was very comfortable and he taught us so many things about this area, and history of Czech Republic.Written September 10, 2024
- 367marycatherined0 contributions100% recommend this tour!We knew our day to and from Auschwitz would be a long and emotionally difficult one but Petr, our driver, made everything go so smoothly. He was there right on time at 4 a.m. to pick us up (actually a little early) and he was great to talk to about the Czech Republic and its history as well as Auschwitz. He made sure we were very well-informed about what the tour would entail; the rules at Auschwitz do not allow Petr himself to do the tour but he met us at the halfway point of the tour to make sure we got on the right bus to get to the 2nd part and he was right there at the end of the tour to get us back to his car. He provides multiple stops each way for food/bathroom breaks and his car was super-clean and comfortable. All of our communications with Lucy Tours prior to the day were excellent. She immediately responded to my questions and had our Auschwitz passes booked well in advance. I can't recommend Petr or this tour highly enough! If you're in Prague, I would look into any tours provided by Lucy Tours in the hopes that you would get him as your guide. Thank you for your time and knowledge, Petr!Written September 5, 2024
- 116rodneyp0 contributionsWeekend GetawayLucy Tours and Thomas our guide were great. Before the tour, we sent an email and discussed our timeline and interests. Thomas was able to adjust the plans to maximize our short time in Prague. We got to see all of the highlights that most tourists hit, but he also made sure that we got to hit a few hidden spots as well. We never would have though to look up to see the flying statues or the bug statue under the awning of the dancing house. My wife really like the added stop at the Church of Baby Jesus, and Thomas even helped us get a blessing from the local priest. Will certainly ask for him again if we return to Prague.Written September 4, 2024
- 116rodneyp0 contributionsLong WeekendThe tour was great, and was a nice way to escape the crowds of Prague for a day. Our tour guide Peter was exceptional. Very professional - - picked us up on time, modified trip to accomodate our schedules and desires, and was extremely knowledgeable of the history and locations. Will surely use Lucy tours again if we return to Prague.Written September 4, 2024
- TCooksey0 contributionsPerfect start to our tripThis was the best way to start our trip in Prague! Patrick was so engaging and informative. It was beautiful on the water, loved the champagne too! We also did a walking tour the next day, but this was truly our highlight.Written September 1, 2024
