Must do to learn about the history of the Czech Republic.
Lada is a fabulous guide. His authentic lived experience brings the history to life. Sometimes on tours like this your mind wanders. Not with Lada. Totally engaging. So interesting and emotional. I learned so much about this very recent history. A must do when in Prague.

    Very interesting and fun!
I went on a school trip to Prague and we visited this bunker. When we arrived at the bunker I was a bit sceptical but I was pleasantly surprised when the tour started. We had an amazing guide who went completely up in his role. He told many interesting facts about the bunker and I had a great time!

    Amazing!
Highly recommend this tour! I have been before but had the pleasure of meeting Blanca this time! What a great tour guide she is! Very funny, caring and welcoming to all her tour guests. She made this tour much more fun and enjoyable and definitely had me and my partner laughing all the way. The tour itself is amazing to see and I would definitely recommend it to anyone however Blanca made it much more worthwhile. Going into depths about the history of the city and talking not only about the tour made it so much more enjoyable. Recommending places for us to go for New Year’s Eve. Give this woman a raise! Thank you for having us :)

Amazing insight into the city's history.
Before coming to Prague both me and my girlfriend had very limited knowledge about much of central and eastern Europe's history. With that in mind we wanted to get a tour that would teach us about the area. This tour was amazing, our guide Karoline was brilliant with a deep knowledge and passion for the area, all delivered with a good bit of humor. It was amazing to learn about the velvet revolution and to see the images of the marches. Would 100% recommend this tour if you're interested in seeing some more of prague than the square etc. and learning in the process!

    Really intersting
We really had a wonderful experience, expecially for our guide, Caroline, that was incredibly prepared and also could lighter some of the information for our kids. But she is a professional, so always ready to answer more accurate questions. Really suggested

    Great tour!
I did the tour on the christmas time and it was amazing. We were quite huge group of about 15 people, but it didn´t matter. Our guide Katerina was friendly and talkative and happy to answer all our questions. The first part of the tour was walking with the historical facts. Than we moved to bunker by tram. I can definitely reccomend this tour to everyone visiting Prague!

    Very interesting and worthwhile
This tour is very interesting and is well worth attending. It gives you an interesting perspective of Prague under Communism. The undergound bunkers are fascinating and it's incredible to think that some of the rooms in the old hotel located above the bunkers were 'bugged' by Communist spies during the Cold War. It was fascinating to see the underground operatng theatre including the dentist chair in the corner of the same room plus the other rooms where armaments were stored, the generator room with a crank handle that had to be turned manually to generate electricity if the generator broke down. A remarkable tour going back in history to a time during the Cold War.

    Brilliant tour
The tour was extremely interesting and informative. Katerina the guide was incredibly knowledgeable, pleasant and very willing to answer questions. We were humbled with the stories of the hero’s who gave their lives in the struggle against communism and we ended the tour with a much greater understanding of what ordinary peoples lives under the regime were like.

    Bunker tour
Really interesting and informative tour. Well worth going as this is a walking tour with history then trip on the tram to the bunker. We saw and learnt a lot about life during that period. Thank you to our tour guide Katerina who was very knowledgable and friendly.

Excellent tour which made our weekend
Our tour guide Ladislav made this an experience we will never forget. Informative and humorous whilst delivering such dark historical facts is not an easy task, however, Ladislav managed this. We found this to be the best tour we have been on so far. We even managed a conversation with Ladislav about Burnley and the Premier league on the return tram No9. Keep up the good work Ladislav, you was brilliant. If you have time for only one tour in Prague this is the one to do, no question.

    Exciting and real.
We had the guide Ladislav with our group who experienced the ways Soviet communism treated their citizens. In great detail could he describe how life as a child was growing up in a communistic regime. He could joke and make fun of the leaders of the time but at times the reality struck both our tourleader and our group. The truth is dark and the fact that this ended just in 1990 is close and heart breaking. It was an experience that will last with us forever and we are very pleased with the arrangement.

If you are visiting Prague I highly recommend this tour. I knew nothing about Czech history but by the end I was gripped and fascinated by it. I think this was helped not only by the history itself but by the way our tour guide Ladislav delivered the tour. He was very knowledgable, well present, enthusiastic and funny.

The tour starts quite close to the square near to the astronomical clock. As you walk through the city, Ladislav pointed out important buildings and locations how communism began in the Czech and where it fell.

The Nuclear bunker itself was a must see. Items within the bunker have been left by former communist government, this includes items such as gas masks, shells, weapons, medical aid, etc. There are plenty of opportunities for photos in the bunker, as well as trying on gas masks.

The price of this tour does include tram tickets to the bunker and back.

I really recommend this tour to anyone visiting Prague.

Me and my husband joined this tour early this month and it was really great experience. Don´t remeber the name of our guide, but she has a one year old boy who made the current protests against czech government with his mother! She was terrific guide, we wre lucky to join her tour. The tour started with the walking part in the city center and guide explained us the history of communism in Czechoslovakia. Than we took the tram and visited nuclear bunker from fifties. So scary, so recent, so different from what we know from our country..Higly recommend!

I joined this tour yesterday and it was great experience. In this time full of fear it was even more realistic. The first part was walking in the city, with the history explanation and the second part was in te nuclear bunker.

Our guide Katka was really nice, happy to answear all our questions and share her stories. Me and my girlfriend were lucky to have the private tour.

This tour was fantastic if you are interested in learning more about the history of the Russian Occupation of Prague in the 20th century. We visited several sites around the city that were key to that time period and learned not only historical facts but human stories of the time. The tour ends with a bus ride to one of the last standing soviet nuclear bunkers. For us this was one of our favorite activities and something you won't see on any tour and can't otherwise access. The bunker itself is a museum filled with nuclear propaganda from the time. I would not recommend if you are claustraphobic or struggle with mobility.

This was a fantastic tour. Our guide Katarina was very knowledgeable on the subject and along with historical information she also added some personal information on the past from her families experience. I would highly recommend this tour if you want to learn about the history of this era. The bunker and the articles that have been collected and were on display really helped to explain what it must have been like to be living in Prague at the time.

The tour is the only way to see the bunker....and it's fascinating. Ladislav gives you an honest and down to earth explanation of the Communist era. A walking tour through the city to Wenceslas Square visiting the Czech KGB H Q and other interesting sights is the start but concludes with a short tram journey to the graffiti strewn entrance to another world. This is a must see if you're in Prague.

To listen for 3 hours how horrible the communists/Russians were after freeing Czech republic in WW2 and not treating them right, sounds like they would be much more happy under Hitler???? Building bunkers and making children learn how to prepare for possible future war in school, and focus on physical education in schools. And every word coming out of Ladislav’s mouth were pure hatred for Russian people. It was very disappointing to listen for 3 hours. Regardless of ones belief, as a tour guide speaking with such disrespect is unprofessional and simply rude.

My BFF and I figured this would be a tour to do since it's something different from what we have seen before. Our guide was Hilarious and ridiculously knowledgeable. Not only did he make the experience fun and informative but he was humorous and engaging to all participants. I highly recommend giving this one a go if you want to learn something new and have fun while doing so.

Such an interesting tour - the guide was very knowledgeable, and funny! He brought us walking through the city, pointing out sculptures and buildings we would have otherwise missed. We went via tram to the bunker - an easy journey to a very scary prospect, thankfully it was never used. We really appreciated our freedoms afterwards!!
