      Terrible tour
I did the free walking tour. I left this tour feeling I knew close to nothing of the history of the city and its specific buildings. The guide knew very little and if I asked questions she would refer to google. Only afterwards would I eavesdrop on other tours and speak to other tourists did I realise how basic and terrible my tour was. I had to do another tour with another company and it was like day and night.

      Royal walk tour
My husband & I did the Royal walk free tour exploring the old town. We liked our guide & found the tour interesting & informative. But I am giving the experience 4 stars because I want to flag a restaurant she recommended called U Fleku which we almost went to but decided against after reading the numerous bad reviews on TripAdvisor. She had forewarned us to decline shots that would circulate which was helpful. But multiple reviews complained of other problems they encountered as well. I normally take the advice of well-meaning guides but I realize now it is important to do your own research.

      Beautiful and charming
Kutna Hora is definitely worth the trip. Must see the cathedral and Ossuary. Just be prepared that they are separated by several kilometers with each occupying one side to of the town. Additionally, the town has several nice shops and restaurants so plan sufficient time to make a complete visit.

      Paul the guide
Good experience. Our guide Paul had wealth of knowledge. Paul was originally from US, so easy communication was easy.

      Fantastic Beer Tour
We had Paul for a Brewery tour (just the two of us). It was absolutely fantastic. Knowledgeable guide, great beers, and fantastic to talk to. Couldn't have asked for anything better!

      Poor organisation
Very friendly guide Sarah. Church closed because of a wedding. The organisation did not know this. Do they even prepare their tours? So, 2 x 1 hour in the bus to visit 1 small bone church during max. 30 minutes. Waste of money.

Too much money for such a poor tour
It is overpriced. The ossuary isn’t anything amazing. The town itself is just boring. You can spare those 60€ for something else.

      Nice Tour
The bone church was certainly unique, it is quite small so it does not take long to visit. The other churches we went too were also stunning and we learned lots of interesting facts from our tour guide.

      Overall a good trip
Overall this is a recommended tour, we booked with Prague Bus Tours. I have knocked off a couple of marks because there was hotel pick up and they never told us what time so we had missed breakfast because they came at 8.15am when paperwork said 9.00am, we then sat on the bus for half an hour at Prague Station waiting for another bus. The buses were small and very comfortable, Vera the guide was multi lingual and very knowledgeable and interesting, the guide at Terezin was good also, definitely a place to visit, shocking what happened. The tour and museums ended at about 2pm, there had only been a couple of vending machines for snacks and drinks so we were all very hungry. Even though the bus picked us up at the hotel they only drop back off at Prague Station and BEWARE if you decide to use the metro, see my review on Prague metro or it could cost you, get an uber back to your hotel!

      Customized Tour of Prague City
Did a 4 hour private city tour with Honza. He’s very knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating in working out what he thought I would like to see based on my interests. Would definitely recommend the company as it was easy to schedule with, and again, the tour guide was amazing!

An Ossary unlike any other (probably)
Our tour guide, Phillip, was great fun and knowledgeable. Travelling by different trains and buses was more tiring than by minibus but was definitely more rewarding. The Ossary was very different from others I have seen and was amazing. A definite must see.

      Great Tour
Great tour. Lots of things to see and worth the trip. You are not allowed to take pics at the Sedlec Ossuary bone Church, but of course everyone does. It is disingenuous for them to say no pics because its "disrespectful" but they have the pics on their IG and dont seem to have a problem charging for entry. So, take the pics. :) St. Barbara's was gorgeous as well.

      Decent Tour
It was worth the tour just to have someone help taking the train from Prague to Kutna Hora.. The train system in Czech is a bit daunting for first-timers… Otherwise it would’ve been better if the tour guide just took us from place to place and let us explore on our own. For example I think too much time was spent in that big church (not the bone church), and I’ve would’ve instead rather just explored Kutna Hora on my own. Also, to our tour guide, food was an after thought. We should’ve been offered the chance to get a meal right when we arrived in Kutna Hora. Instead we became very hungry and only had a little time to find food at the end of the tour just before we had to catch the train back to Prague. If you need someone help you buy train tickets and get you to and from Kutna Hora, *maybe* take this tour… Otherwise just figure it out yourself, and you can prob have a better time exploring on your own terms.

      Well worth a visit
An amazing day the guide who picked us up was very informative about Prague. Mareken our guide was amazing he gave us loads of facts about the concentration camp and what those poor people endured. We next visited the crematorium where thousands of Jews had been cremated. We visited inside and could see where the bodies had post mortems, embalmed and burned. We then visited the museum this is well worth a visit. There is a 15 minutes showing of the concentration camp and what went on.

We booked this tour due to a mutual interest in the Second World War...There was quite a bit about Prague and it’s connection to the war and its resistance that I was unaware of and also about the history of Communism in what is now the Czech Republic. Adam was our guide for the tour and is easily one of the finest guides I have ever had the pleasure of spending time with. Adam was informative, Knowledgeable and humorous when the moments on the tour would allow for it. I found him extremely pleasant and would thoroughly recommend him and the tour to anyone!!!

Thank you for your feedback! Prague is rich in the history of those times and many people are unaware of the events that happened here. Adam does a fantastic job of delivering this information to all our guests and people love how he delivers the tour. Thanks again and hope to see you again soon! Kind Regards, Discover Prague Tours

I thought this tour was excellent and incredibly interesting. The tour guide, Adam had a good balance of solemnity and humour: 2 and a half hours went by extremely quickly. The church where the assassins hid was incredibly moving. Here we moved around the museum independently, as requested at the door. I can only imagine that the review complaining that the tour guide left them didn't understand this.
    Well worth going on.

We thoroughly enjoyed our WW2 and Communism tour of Prague. Our guide Tony was excellent ... so informative and everything told in such an engaging, interesting manner. He was able to answer all our questions and added in information on Prague today. A top rate experience which I can highly recommend.

Great walking tour. Small group, learned loads of stuff and saw lots of bits of Prague I’d not seen before, including a short trip on the tram. Adam was great, very articulate and sense of humour too. Highly recommend. Wrap up warm! It was cold, despite the sun shining.

So we decided to do this tour after an excellent free city tour with Zack. Should of just left it at that and not done this one as you can really tell the difference between a paid tour and a free tour.

    Guide Adam,
-Came fifteen minutes late (tour was meant to start at 2:30pm).
    - Came in his tracksuit pants.
    - Incorrect facts and other members of the tour constantly corrected him (resulting him going to wikiapedia to fact check) - eg such as the abbreviation of the nazi party.
    - on the phone texting constantly.
    - Disappeared for twenty minutes at a free museum which required us to read posters on a wall (there was another company here where a guide was explaining what it all meant.

My advice, skip this and stick to free tours.

We recently completed the WW2 and communism tour with Adam and it seemed like a waste of time (and money). Firstly this is only the 2nd tour we have had to pay for upfront rather than the normal free tour concept around the rest of Europe. (We have done over 15 in the last 2 months) and it was a disappointment. The tour guide was 15 minutes late, when usually the guides are out well before the tour times. We went into a free museum for 25 minutes for us to read boards ourselves while the guide went to get a drink. (If we were reading from a board, no need to pay for the guide). The information he provided was very generic and hardly provides an idea of the times that were, like most guides provide. Other members in our tour also corrected a lot of the guides statements that were factually incorrect. Perhaps when you pay upfront the guides don’t feel like they need to work as hard, but I certainly would recommend other companies first.

Yesterday me and a friend joined this tour with Zach, wich was brilliant. He’s very professional, and even under the rain he kept the group focused in all stories, making everything simple to be understood.
If you’re going to prague, and you want to learn more about everything that happened here, I highly recommend this tour with him.

Adam was a knowledgable and amiable guide, open to any questions and who really connected us with the city through his own and family's experience. I recommend the tour for people already seriously interested in the era.
