- Stevin M00Excellent cooking class experienceBret was our host. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We had a really fun experience! The food we made was delicious and the food he had prepared was fab also!
- BearBonBon00A thoroughly enjoyable experience!A thoroughly enjoyable experience! Chef Brett offered wonderful stories and information on the history of Prague, the food and the wines he served. We, together with another couple, cooked 3 delicious recipes and Chef Brett cook the absolutely scrumptious Hungarian goulash. The whole atmosphere was cozy as if we were at a friend's house for a dinner party!
- Mark F00Gastro-tastic!Brett was delightful and did a great job guiding us through the local cuisine scene in Czech Republic. This is a must do! The hands on aspect was great and we really enjoyed dining on what we cooked.
- Joselyn_Peopless00Well worth it!Aida contacted us beforehand to touch base and see if we had any questions. Brett was our host for the cooking class. The entire experience was so much fun and well thought out! You can tell the couple genuinely enjoys what they do. We were able to learn about Czech food and the end result was so delicious! We even were able to taste some Czech wine throughout the night. We are so excited to try making the recipes at home. Would Deff recommend this class!
- TonyFWhite00WELL WORTH IT !! AMAZINGThe whole experience was amazing. Bret was very welcoming and you could see the passion he has for food and wine.
- Zalmasri00Amazing and cozy cultural culinary experienceWent with two girlfriends to try this experience based on our friends recommendation. We wanted to try a new experience that involved Czech cuisine , since we were visiting Prague for the first time. My first touch point was with Aida , one of the owners, who was very efficiently accessible by both email and WhatsApp and was prompt to answer. The cooking studio was adorable and cozy , split into two areas, the cooking station and the dining area which had a warm ambiance, perfect for a winter cooking activity. Our host was Bret, the guy behind it all, he was very friendly, explained to us all about the food and it’s origins, Czech food and wine culture and shared recipes from his grandmother. We had a lot of fun taking turns in cutting up ingredients, preparing the dishes , drinking three kinds of delicious wines while we work and trying out different scrumptious and fresh cheeses with charcuterie. Bret made the experience delightful with his bubbly personality and passion for food and wine . We all had the main dish together at the dining table , which was a hearty Goulash . With music playing in the background , candlelight, comfort food , good wine , an amazing ambiance and lovely friends this was just a feel good evening. I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting Prague. Thank you Aida and Bret for having us and we all hope to see you again one day ! Nazdravi !
- Joey B00Delightful!This was a wonderful experience. We were able to taste some great Czech wine, food, and snacks. I would certainly book with Aida and Brett again. Brett was also very patient even though I arrived late. PSA: If you are walking to the location, do not trust the Google map instructions through the castle forest! You may end up running through the muddy woods, faced with no exit until you find a kind Russian hiker who leads you back to civilization. Follow the lit paths and add in an extra 10 min for walking. Uber is probably best.
- Bzrdbait00Great way to end my time in Prague!Loved my experience cooking with Bret and enjoyed some of the many homemade bread, jams, pickles etc., that Aida made. Was fortunate enough to have one-on-one cooking experience with excellent wine pairing for the food we made. Charming cooking environment with good exchange of techniques and I even flipped my potato pancake...well sort of ;-). Thanks for a wonderful evening!
- Hui H00Wonderful food, wonderful people, what more could you ask for in Prague!Aida and Bret have a very nice setup for their cooking class - the environment is very artistic and with good history. They accommodated my younger daughter’s vegan diet by pre-preparing some extra food for her and adjusted some class content. The size, length and pace of the class are perfect for us - it allowed some great interactions and fun conversations. We also liked the sit down dinner part in the end which allowed us have some more dinner table conversations with others in our group.
- 548maxj00AmazingAmazing local experience, great instructor, delicious food. Best part of our trip to Prague for sure!
- Laetitia_sas00Amazing cooking experienceReally good experience! Brett explained everything in details and talked a lot about the culture and the way of life in the country! The degustation of Czech products in the middle of the class was great as well and the cooking studio was really beautiful. I 100% recommend booking this cooking class!
- Z7547WErichardd00We found our authentic cuisineI am not a cook, but my wife is and she booked this experience. Bret welcomed us and it turned out we were his only guests. Bret's passion for food was clear and he walked us through our fare for the night consisting of tasting of local ... really local cheeses marmalades, and sausages ... and then dumpling preparation - with fruit (plum) dumplings for our dessert. Our dumpling creation was paired with the Goulash Bret had made along with delightful Moldavian wines, soft music in the background, and in an intimate basement kitchen and dining room renovated by him in a several hundred year old building. The night could not have been better. Even I, a non-cook, became involved. Truly a wonderful experience that any foodie would love.
- Grant H00Food and FunA great way to spend an evening. Learned some cooking techniques. Ate delicious food. Learned about Czeck food, culture, and history. All done in a friendly and fun environment. Highly recommend.

- PRSonial00An experience that you should not miss! What a wonderful experience! This was one of the highlights of our trip to Prague. Bret was a knowledgeable and professional host, showing us how to cook our dinner and at the same time sharing with us insights about local culture. He recommended wines from the region to pair them with the different dishes. He was so gracious that I started to cough and he immediately prepared me a herbal tea with his own herbs. Priceless!!! We highly recommend this experience!

Having a cooking lesson in “Good Mood Food” is an unforgettable experience for me!
A teacher, Bret, is friendly, kind and attentive. I love his character.
Everything is well-organized and he is of excellent workmanship.
I really enjoyed every dish from appetizers to desserts.
He said, “Just stay relaxed as if here was your home.” As he said, I totally felt relaxed in the place.
He taught me not only how to cook but also history and cultural background of dishes. It was a great lecture!
Thankfully, he sent me recipes by e-mail as I got home. I’ll try to cook in my kitchen!
I highly recommend “Good Mood Food” if you want to have special experience in Prague.

Our family of 6 participated in a cooking class with Bret and Aida. There is good news and bad news. The good news is it was absolutely wonderful. Worth every penny. It was like being an honored guest at someone's home. The food was amazing, and the afternoon just flew by. We so enjoyed sampling all sorts of treats while we were preparing dinner. I couldn't recommend it more.
What's the bad news? I don't think anyone can come close to the wonderful atmosphere and delicious food that Bret and Aida provided. I am sure we will do cooking classes in other cities, but the bar is set really really high.
Thank you, Bret and Aida it really was an unforgettable experience.

We really enjoyed the evening of Czech cooking with Bret. He was a gracious host and taught us a lot about Czech food and history. We enjoyed the small group (6 total) and the evening was fun. Bret sent us the recipes after as well. One of the highlights of our trip to Prague.

We booked this as a bucket list item for Prague and it definitely delivered! Aida and Bret are wonderful chefs and hosts - right away, we truly felt like we were cooking with family (Aida's mother even joined us!). There were yummy snacks/drinks and music during the entire class. The space is beautiful, cool, and the meeting spot is easily accessible. Aida and Bret were communicative, super organized, and helpful - we haven't stopped raving about the food and the experience! Bonus points - they also sent us the recipes to recreate! If you're on the fence or looking for something unique to do in Prague, book it. You won't regret it!

We had a fabulous time with Bret in Prague shopping, cooking and eating traditional food. It was a special opportunity to immerse ourselves more fully into the culture and have a more personal connection on our trip. Plus, it was loads of fun!

You learn about how to use utensils, produce, meat, herbs, and Czech style of cooking. It's fun. It's a high quality meal and drinks. I was in a small group of 4 total including our host. Thank you so much, Bret. I am recommending this to family and friends. :)

We had a wonderful time learning a lot about typical Czech food, Czech family customs, cooking 3-typical foods and all in a wonderful space with a dynamic and dear gal who made us feel so at home. Our meal started with lovely bites of sausages, cheeses, breads, vegetables, spreads, pickles, jams(homemade by mama). Then we were taught how to make potato cakes (definitely my new go to recipe) , bread dumplings and fruit dumplings (all the while sampling wine and learning about the culture). Then we sat down to a lovely meal of goulash with the bread dumplings we made ..more wine...then dessert of our homemade dumplings! All in all, a memorable evening. Hands above a night in any restaurant! We loved our evening with Aida and will never forget !

Cooking with Brett is by far THE BEST experience I have had in Prague! DO NOT leave the city without enjoying a meal and good quality time here.
It wad personal, intimate and everything you could hope for. There was something about a Brett simply indicating “this is your home for the next few hours” that set this activity apart from the others. We cooked rabbit, a soup, pastry and even enjoyed wine Moravian wine. Their communication even leading up to the event was as so clear and consistent which made for an all round successful trip.
