- 457billw0 contributionsTrip to Cesky Krumlov that never happenedWe were suppose to have. Dorado tour in Prague on August 24, 2024. We were outside 30 minutes before as we were told. At 9:30 NO ONE had arrived to pick us up for our tour to Cesky Krumlov. We called the number, and there was no one to answer the call. Company seems very unreliable. I would suggest never to use.Written August 23, 2024

Unfortunately it was a trip to forget. From the first moment the program was not fulfilled because it said that the transfer from the airport would be with a Spanish-speaking guide, which was not the case. Likewise at dinner time we did not have a voucher since the guide did not show up until the next day. Apparently he had been given a couple that we didn't know at all and who was part of the group. Incredible.
Likewise, there was a change of restaurants for both lunch and dinner that were included in the program or that were planned in the program and whose guide, rather than clarifying things every time he was asked about the changes, rather confused it more and no longer We knew if he was lying or not. As a culmination of this matter, the last day we had free in Prague and they gave us a voucher, for both of us, for lunch and dinner and it happened that the restaurant for the meal that they had told us about was closed. We had to go from top to bottom for a new restaurant.
As for transportation, on the first day of transfer from Prague to the next point, we did so in a van that the guide said was his and he had it in the workshop being inspected. Conclusion we had to start at 8 in the morning and we left at 10:30 in the morning. Meaning that this guide named Nelson has been characterized by not being clear in the explanations about the changes that were asked of him and he went so far as to say that we were making the tour miserable for him. There was another phrase that he said to my wife that I better not mention, but that I had to draw her attention to in a forceful way. Without a doubt, the worst professional I have had in all the trips we have made. Furthermore, when asked about a specific place in Prague, for example the Lennon Wall, he would go so far as to say that it was not important. We passed 200 m from it, that is, over the Charles Bridge. I believe that the importance is given by the client, I believe. We must highlight the lack of coordination and chaos produced by the Dorado agency. We understand that there are variations in the program, but that, on the first day, an entire day was changed, which meant we were alone in Prague on the last day, restaurants were changed, hotels were changed with respect to those that our agency had given us and schedules, it already gives us something to think about. That we are also there to spoil the tour for the guide when he is asked about so much change and that on the last day we are from end to end of the city to eat, man, this is already bordering on a meeting.
We thought it was going to be an elegant tour...four people plus a guide and in a van...impressive, it had never happened to us. And it meant constant bitterness. Traveling so many km to wish that this nightmare would end in which, basically, it was moving from one place to another to eat, have dinner and walk around the corresponding place in record time. Furthermore, it has been the only time that I have had to call the emergency numbers provided to resolve issues related to this tour. At least they have answered and solved it but so many errors and changes should not occur.
For us, nothing recommended. As a result of this, if we returned, we would go on our own.

The worst organized trip I have ever taken. The program is not followed and the guide Nelson is terrible.
We had a circuit through the Czech Republic, airport hotel transfers with a driver who had no idea of Spanish.
We didn't meet the guide until the second day. The first dinner we had on the first day, no one told us where it was since no one showed up.
And on the last day the guide told us that the food was next to the Penta hotel, which was our hotel, which by the way was far from the center, when we arrived it turned out to be closed.
The second day, the program said that we would leave at 8 in the morning, and it turns out that he didn't come to pick us up at the hotel until 10:30 a.m., he said he had the van in the workshop for an inspection.
Another day there was a dinner program at the famous u fleku restaurant and I also changed it.
I could go on and on day by day, it was getting worse every day.
I protested and Nelson told me that I was making the tour bitter for him and also in bad manners.
From that day until the end it was already a nightmare, I could be telling things until I was bored. It's been incredible.
In short, I do not recommend El Dorado, very bad organization, they change the program and even the hotels, which I do not understand because days before the trip they confirm the entire program.
I hope my testimony helps you for future trips.

Gracias 🙂

We did the tour of Czechoslovakia with Dorado Tours with a very small group and with a great professional and an excellent person, our guide Nelson, who transmitted to us his love for this country and made us feel very comfortable, making us enjoy every minute and showing us the most picturesque places, the history, legends, customs and gastronomy of this beautiful country.
Thank you Nelson for this wonderful trip, a hug from the Canary Islands
