My husband and I absolutely loved our all day private wine tour we went on with Andrea! Honestly, it was the highlight of our 2 week trip to Europe!

We started with a pickup at the Andaz! (amazing hotel btw) at the time of our choosing (10 AM), in a very comfortable car (newer Volvo station wagon). Andrea was right on time, and had snacks, sanitizer, and water waiting for us in the car. A huge bonus is Andrea's amazing personality, very friendly, interesting, and funny, as well as her absolutely amazing English.

She took us to 4 wineries, each with its own style and very different from the others.
It was clear from the start that Andrea knows her stuff when it comes to wine, having worked in the industry for a long time and having formal training and education on the subject as well. Beyond her knowledge, she clearly has great connections with the owners and wine makers at the vineyards, and we felt so well taken care of everywhere we went. She clearly has a lot of respect in the Czech wine world, and it's not hard to see why.

A few other plusses: Andrea took pictures and sent them to us, and they were all great. She arranged a delicious, home-cooked two course lunch for us which was perfectly timed... and tasty! She gave us a ton of recommendations of other things to do in Prague, restaurants, etc.

In closing, it's clear that Andrea is great at providing amazing wine tour experiences! She also can customize the experiences and does tours to Moravia and other regions, so reach out to her if there's something in particular you are looking for.

Also, don't sleep on Czech wine! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, and we live in San Francisco so we know good wine! Have a great time, and just do it! :-)

Andrea was super friendly and knowledgeable. It was a gorgeous day and Andrea had put together a visit to four wineries. It was great to meet some of the owners and hear their stories … gave an awesome local countryside flavor to the trip. We ended our trip at the Chateau Melnik winery and thoroughly enjoyed Andrea’s engaging description of the history of the Château.

I work in the wine industry in California and always try to fit in some wine tasting when I am traveling. So, when I decided to visit Prague in May, I organized a tour of the Bohemia wine region, just outside of Prague. First, I will say that I was attending a wedding with a group of friends who joined me. The only day we had to do the tour was on a bank holiday. I was back and forth with Andrea, the owner, and she was able to set up a very fun and interesting day despite the holiday. The wineries graciously opened for a few hours so that we could do our tasting day. MIchael, our guide, also gave up his holiday so that we could have a tour. He was fantastic and very generous to give us his time. I won't say that I loved all of the wines. But, between Michael and the people who provided the tasting, we got a comprehensive idea of the wine industry in the Czech Republic. We also got a history lesson on the progression of the wine industry through all of the political changes that have happened in the Czech Republic. The owner at the first winery we visited was very open about this. What an education. But, not just about the wine. it was a great day! Kudos to Andrea and Michael and their team of wine lovers. I would highly recommend this activity when visiting Prague.

Although we are not wine experts, one of our hobbies is visiting wineries when we're in a new country. We feel extremely lucky to have discovered Wine Tours in Czech, as they provided one of the best wine tours we have ever had. During a recent visit to Prague, we spent two days with Isabelle, one of the leaders of this group. She is extraordinarily knowledgeable not just about wine, but also about Prague, the Czech Republic, architecture, art, history... You name it, she was able to give us colorful information about it.

Isabelle and her partner Andrea also do extensive research into local wineries before including them on their tours. The result is that you get a fascinating look at the wide range of winery operations in CR, from a small family-run home-based operation to some of the largest wine cellars we've visited anywhere. We selected private tours with Isabelle, and they were well worth the cost. At most stops the owner personally guides your visit, and offers fascinating information about their operations, philosophy, future plans, etc. Many of the wineries we visited offered locally made food specialties to go with the extensive tastings.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of Czech wines, mostly because we've never gotten to taste them before. And that's because, at least for the wineries we visited on this tour, even though with high quantities of production, their wines sell out to local customers and they never export. That's too bad for the rest of the world - hopefully some day that will change.

If you have a day or two to spend seeing gorgeous scenery in great company, we'd highly recommend you look into Wine Tours in Czech with Isabelle and Andrea.

I never knew how delicious Czech wine was but my favorite part of this was that Andrea took us to family owned vineyards. We felt good supporting family business and learning about their passion for wine. Andrea's car was comfortable and clean and it was like having a private driver who was also a local friend! I think this is a great add on to the urban tours of Prague so you can see more of the area.

We had a private tour that first led us to a small family owned winery in a small village that was as if we were sitting in our own family’s home just enjoying wine together... from there we went to a more commercial winery for an amazing lunch followed by some exceptional wines. Finally we ended up at a historic chateau with great history including the location of the first Pinot noir grapes to be grown in the country. We took a tour of the chateau followed by a tasting in the cellar which has historic barrels still in place!

Overall it was a perfect day, great wines, and an awesome guide! We highly recommend the experience!

We have started straight at our place and went to first winery, not far from Prague. Interesting tour through whole winery and story of wine making process was really educating. Refreshed with a short pause to launch at a local restaurant we moved to a nearby wine shop where we could buy some local wines. Later on we have travelled to make a short stop by the local wine-yards and then two other tour spots. All places we've visited were pleasing. Travelling during the day was also comfy and easy going. Have it recommend!

We just returned from a week in Prague, which included a full day of wine tasting in Bohemia. Andrea, our guide for the day, was not only extremely knowledgeable about wine, but also about the history of wine growing in the Bohemia region. The tour included stops at three wineries, each unique in its own way, as well as lunch at one of them. It was a great way to spend the day!
