- jotaygur199000Great tour with lots of interesting places to visit and learn about its history.Really good tour. It was only me and my husband so very personal, which we liked. Petr was a brilliant guide, very friendly, informative, and took us around some great places. Would highly recommend to see the City and learn about its history.
- 31floring00PragaThanks Maki for your enthusiasm. You created a very pleasant atmosphere and you told us some extremely interesting information from the history of Prague. It will be an exceptional tour if you'll upgrade the locations to be visited
- traipsing__tina00Sadly disappointedWe have been on many a legend and ghost walk and was looking forward to hearing the legends and tales that this beautiful city must have. We found the ticket office easily enough and they found our tickets easily enough after we couldnt find our email confirmation. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. The walk around the town appeared to meander with seemingly little connection to grisly tales or dastardly deeds. The dungeon, while entertaining, didnt really have the gruesome history or facts that we have become accustomed to. Sadly disappointing.
- clairedF2453BX00Hard avoidThis historical underground tour was lacking in both history and being underground. While the tour guide was enthusiastic and friendly, it was 90 mins of mostly fiction and fakery. I expected to be underground and learning about Prague’s rich history but this tour was a visit to 3 different cellars which contained unrealistic props from fake skeletons and spiders to wooden coffins and toy cats. The only bonus was being out of the -10 deg temps temporarily.
- sidonied92600Don't Miss This!We had a great tour this weekend with Maki! Very informative with many historical anecdotes; A lot of humor thrown in as well! So glad we made the time to take this tour and see parts of Prague we would have never had a chance to view.
- J6974TVmaryk00Great experienceWe loved learning about history of the city Prague. Maki did a great job keeping it fun and interesting. This makes me want to go on more tours to learn more.
- 752jonathonh00Fun night tourGreat tour and our guide Maki was full of knowledge as well. The tour itself was very interesting, easy walking pace, and the underground rooms and dungeon was exciting.
- Katy W00The History and Mystery of PragueA fun and unusual way to learn about Prague is by booking an Underground Tour. Our tour guide, Natalie, not only was dressed in costume, carrying a lantern, but she was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and humorous which made learning about the dark side of Prague fun. It was an evening tour, which helped to set the mood as we walked the dark streets of Prague and went underground. I highly recommend this trip!
- tony2puddings00A different sort of walking tourWe met our guide Maki at 3pm at the Prague Underground Tours ticket office (a few hundred metres past the Astronomical Clock). Maki was an excellent guide. The tour was interesting and informative. It is partly overground and partly underground and lasted around 90 minutes.
- DeanT84600A must do in PragueAwesome tour, fun, interesting and made all the better by our outstanding guide Petr. Dont miss this when you visit prague
- L411JNfrankg00Less than expectedThe tour started out nicely with a bit of historical background but overall stayed pretty shallow, bordering on just plain silly. Tacky jokes involving minors in the group added to the just-average experience. Had expected more, honestly?
- W4092CWpaulines00Don't botherQuite boring the walk nothing special and the underground was lit up with few props. The lady seemed to be on record no interaction or scares whatsoever.
- simone76100Super Maki thank you!Fantastic trip. Informative, fun and friendly. We learnt so much about Czech history and Maki delivered in such a friendly and interesting way. We were captivated! Fact & fun packed and fast paced, perfect for our last few hours in Prague Recommend, great VFM
- Ted L00Great tour. Thanks NatalieThis was an informative and entertaining tour that we thoroughly enjoyed. It helped us to understand the old city of Prague much better but the star of the tour was undoubtedly Natalie. Her knowledge of Prague and enthusiasm for the tour was infectious. She has everyone engaged and interested in the sights as she explained the history. Natalie also speaks about seven languages which is pretty useful and impressive.
- polyz202300Fantastic experienceWas very good experience! Definitely I suggest it. Our guide was "Maki", absolutely perfect guide!!! Maki made us really experience it and told us very nice stories!!!

A waste of time and money. In fact, in our group of four, one person left the tour after 30 minutes and the rest of wished we had done the same. The website misleads into thinking we will have small groups. We had 26 and our guide even commented how this is a huge group and everyone who signs up will be added. The tour was mostly walking the streets and going into the basement of restaurants. It was an embarrassment. We saw blank walls that were not even fully underground at times. With such a large group we could not see anything. But, there was nothing to see. Do not waste your money.

This tour was a real rip off very poor guide whom seemed to be uninterested an talking book would have done a better job. Very disappointing and waste of money the only interesting piece of the tour was the skeletal scattered dungeon. The leaflet was making it sound brilliant and part of the tour was the same has their ghost tour. This was so bad boring and waste of money I am ashame to say and definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone if you want good tours look at Martin tours sandermans tours and historic tram tour for the interesting tours leave this one it’s completely waste of money and you not missing anything

This lasted just over an hour and although the lady guide was polite and knowledgeable, it really was not worth the money. We visited a couple or cellars, but I expected a labyrinth or tunnels and walkways like in other old city’s (Edinburgh or York), but this really was just basements which have been restored not connected and under a few houses or apartments. Some had some medieval props which were not even relevant to the tour. I had done a free tour the day before which was much better. Sorry but just NO.

Zuzana led our instructive tour of the old town and accessible underground area of Prague city center. Our tour was historic in nature and Zuzana was well versed and engaging throughout.
Side note: At the first stop there is a rather inexplicable modern art exhibit on which Zuzana did not comment, nor (thankfully) did she address the terrible props in the dungeon, which were no doubt in place for ghost tours. I appreciate that she maintained her focus, but the company should abandon the extraneous gimmicks.

This was our first tour of the trip and I would recommend for anyone looking for a unique experience away from the tourists. The tour was a small group and let us through mostly the historic city center's hidden underground. We learned history dating back to medieval times. You will tour several underground "homes" that were original to the city before it was built up. We loved that you were avoiding the tourist hot spots and seeing parts of the city that few have access to. My ONLY complaint was that there were some hokey props in the dungeon that, in my opinion, were distracting and unecessary. I would have liked to see more of the original artifacts from the time. If you are claustrophobic or have mobility issues this is not for you.

First off, this is NOT a review of the "ghost" tour, which is ridiculous and entirely manufactured. This IS a review of the oldtown, medieval underground and dungeon historical tour. Although both tours do visit some of the same places and, unfortunately, you have to look at the plastic skeletons and tacky "scary" paraphernalia, the focus is on fact rather than fiction.
Second, the tour is mostly above-ground. It is not possible to walk through underground tunnels in Prague for reasons of historical interest, which the tour guide explains. You WILL see some of the oldest structures in the city and you will learn history of the city you probably won't hear on other tours.
I went with a friend who was more excited about this than I was, and I had a surprisingly great time. Martina was an excellent, knowledgeable, sensitive guide. I appreciated how she made sure the slower people on the tour weren't left behind.
Be advised there are lots of stairs, old and uneven.

Very interesting. Learnt history of Prague didn't know before. Amazing city. Tour guide made huge effort to speak English with very pronounced accent but could be understood. For walking round Prague it's essential you wear comfortable non slip flat cushioned footwear... All slippery cobblestones. Very good tour if interested in history.

The tour was rather interesting. You do get a lot of information about the medieval history of Prague. Our guide was Jitka, she did a great job. The tour actually was quite a bit longer than advertised because she explained a lot of things on detail, had time for questions and she made it rather funny as well along the way.
I do however wish there would have been more to see underground, I did expect a little bit more but it was a good tour nontheless

Misleading description, as most of the tour is above ground. Also it mentions caverns and dungeons when all you visit are cellars, one of which has been decked out in Halloween style props to look like a dungeon and an alchemist's lair.
There was some interesting history given by the guide, who was pleasant enough, but the tour really didn't feel like value for money.
We did a three hour tour of the castle the day before that was cheaper and much better.

Martina was very nice and knowledgeable and instantly recognized what would interest us the most. She took a lot of time with us despite us being a small group of only two people and made the tour a very personal experience. Thanks to her, we managed to learn many new things about Prague and it's deep history.

I'm 20 years old and will be travelling solo in July but it won't let me book only 1 youth ticket, is says I have to buy at least one adult ticket. If I buy an adult ticket will I still be able to go on the tour by myself?

I can’t see there being a problem. There were two couples and a young lady on her own on our tour and a lovely young lady did the tour.
