      Great zoo!
First time ever seeing a polar bear, couldn’t believe it. We really loved Prague zoo, a great day out, rain or shine. Enclosures are big and the animals are well looked after and cared for. Staff are helpful, especially the reptile keeper who takes care of the Salamander; he took time out of his lunch hour to explain the species to us as he could see us wondering with curiosity. Amazing. Highly recommended by us.

      Great traditional evening
We had a fantastic evening at the Folklore Restaurant Michal Prague! The music was really traditional as well as the dancing and the food. Plus they accommodated some of us who were vegetarians. They were really friendly and welcoming.

      Super clean and organised
Very nice place and recommended for families. We went there as a family with older children (teenagers and early twenties) and it was great fun. We also found it quite easy to reach using public transport. Recommended. The afternoon ticket option is great as you can stay there till late.

      Too expensive
What is this deal about? Round trip cost us 8 eur in uber and 12 eur for two entrance tickets. sounds much like a tourist trap.

Prague zoo is well laid out, seems to be on going work improvements and expansion going on which can only always be a good thing. All the animals look in good health and happy in there settlements.Plenty of pitstops to grab a drink and snack throughout the zoo.Even in January the zoo had plenty of visitors young and old,all seeming thrilled at seeing all these beautiful and enchanting animals

      Great day trip
Our ski trip was wonderful despite limited snow. Only 2 runs were open but well groomed and few people. Our driver, Petra was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and was accommodating enough to even drive us over to Germany for a beer after skiing. Clothing and equipment t provided was very good as well. We would highly recommend the trip.

      City pass
Terrible, they didn't have city pass at the place we were told they are and it took more than two hours to arrange everything, which involved moving us from place to place.

      Not a fan of zoos
Took a trip to Prague zoo as the wife has always wanted to go. Although the place is good and Im sure they do good things I don't like zoos. The place looks clean but to me some of the enclosures looked a tad small, especially the polar bears. I may be wrong and there is more behind the scenes but it looked so small. The trip going there was fine and our driver said he would be picking us up. We waited for his red vehicle but someone totally different picked us up. Really not worth the money we paid Im afraid

Don't hesitate--book this now if you love music, food, and drinks!
Driver picked us up from downtown hotel on time and drove us to the restaurant about 20 min away. We were actually wondering where he was taking us--but don't fret--it was an actual restaurant with a dancefloor, many tables, bar and a kitchen. Waiters were super nice. Included a three-course meal which was so delicious. Ever flowing wine and beer. The band was lovely and music was fun to listen to! Traditional dances were enjoyable to watch. This was definitely the highlight of our visit and would experience again--it was that good!!

      My Birthday
Well as ever in a foreign land: left the digs and embarked on an adventure. What an adventure it was the Prague Zoo is great and I have been to a good few, cracking enclosures, lots of healthy looking beasts, all out and about, apart from the Polar Bears but no wander at 28 degrees. On the tourist side, train! watch as sign bit misleading as 40Czk per leg, two legs on each run, when the driver has to explain to everyone you know it”s signed badly. Chair lift well worth the 25Czk and views to match, scoff and coffee spot on pricing and lovely to deal with, plenty toilets, walked miles smiled loads

      Zoo
I was going to book this but it was sold out at the time ! I then ordered a taxi at the reception of where I was staying, so over all for a taxi to and from the zoo plus 2 tickets into the zoo only cost 40euro! This is a total rip off!

      wonderful day
we were in contact with Vlastislav who took great care of us. Had a private trip, helped with any problem especially language difficulty, answered all our questions quickly even before arriving. He was so patient. Really made our day. Even prepared us a very interesting summary of Czech Republic History... I recommend planning trips with him so much!!!

Konopiste Chateau and Cesky Sternberk Castle and Sázava Monastery Private Tour from Prague
The castle tours and lunch were wonderful. The gardens at Konopiste were stunning. Our driver spoke very little English and the monastery tour was primarily self-guided with very little information. Note that this tour requires a lot of walking and climbing, and may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.

The Moser Glassworks is a must visit. I have never before been able to go inside a glass works factory amongst the blowers. Here you do and it works. You feel the heat that emanates from the foundries and you watch in amazement at the way the craftsmen work. Pick up the sample blowing rod and you'll appreciate the strength of the workers who blow solid molten balls of glass into amazing shapes.

For us jaw dropping and gives you a huge respect for the work that goes into making a glass object. We did not get the VIP tour so missed out on the engraving portion. A big miss and regret

The drive from Prague is dead easy. You can stop at the Krusovice Brewery on the way or on return and its easy to visit the town of Kralovy Vary that is just a few miles away.

We booked the private tour for Moser Glassworks, Jan Becher Museum and Karlovy Vary. To begin with, there was no minivan, but instead a car, as there were 3 people that had booked the tour. There was no free wifi as mentioned online. The tour guide did not speak English, and gave us hand-outs with written information on the different sights. This was not mentioned in the details of the tour. The girl who drove us around did speak English, but was not a tour guide. It was rather disappointing considering that we had excellent tours for all the other places that we visited in the Czech republic.
The Moser glassworks factory was not open, and hence, we could not see the actual process of glass blowing. When we arrived in Karlovy Vary, we were given the handouts and a map, and asked to walk around by ourselves and read the information on our own. I don't mind exploring by myself, but we paid to have the tour guide show us the sights. Else, we could have hired a car to drive us around and seen the sights ourselves, and it would have cost us lesser.
Thankfully, lunch was not a disappointment, and was good. The Jan Becher museum was good as well, though there was an audio tour, and we pretty much did it all ourselves. We stopped at the Angel mountain on our way back, and though the tour guide was reluctant to make a stop there, we insisted on going up the mountain and seeing the beautiful views from there.
A disappointing trip that might have been better if the guide spoke English, or showed some interest in showing us the sights. The places are definitely worth a visit though.
Would recommend seeing the sights, but choose another tour.
