Unforgettable Prague Tour with an Expert Guide
We had the pleasure of joining Anna's 3-hour walking tour of Prague, and it was an exceptional experience! Anna's deep knowledge of Prague's history and culture was evident throughout the tour. We explored many of the city's key sights, but the highlight was undoubtedly Prague Castle. Anna's insights and stories about the castle's history and significance were fascinating and brought the site to life. She also showed us numerous other landmarks, making the entire tour both comprehensive and enjoyable. If you want to see the best of Prague, including the stunning Prague Castle, Anna's tour is the way to go. Highly recommended!

    Prague Castle Tour
Beautiful Cathedral and Castle. Walking, particularly leaving the property, is demanding. I needed extra time which held the tour up. Alternatives for departures should be considered.

    mikael - best guide ever!
This is very late review… sorry! But our day with Mikael is one of the days we’ll remember for the rest of our lives. He was the best guide you could have wished for. He was funny, got to know us, told us about local spots, invested time into us and really catered the tour to us by the end of it. He was very factual, but in the best way possible, not throwing information at you! We were with an American mum and daughter, and we are British and had very different cultures but he was able to make it interesting for all four us. The intimacy of the tour was definitely a highlight, as we saw him the next with a massive group of people. We felt very lucky to have close time with him as we felt we much more invested into him as a guide. Definitely reccomened him and this tour, it takes you to all the best spots in Prague, that you would want to see whilst you’re there.

Good tour of the castle area. Mark/Mike was very clear and knowledgeable. Take plenty of water as it was hot and tiring. Thought tour was of wider area but predominantly castle

    Informative and very enjoyable morning
This was a really informative tour. We saw a lot of areas of Prague that we probably would have otherwise missed. Our guide was engaging, knowledgeable and good fun. He gave us a wide range of fabulous sites to visit as well as tips for other things to do. Would definitely recommend, especially first time visitors.

Perfect way to spend the afternoon!
We had a great time with Michal, walking around the city and learning the history of Czech wine! We had an accidental private tour, which added to the experience! Michal was very knowledgeable and told the history in a very engaging manner. The wines were very good, and since we were only two on the tour, we were able to adjust the tasting a bit based on what types of wine we enjoy. We would highly recommend this tour.

Best way to experience the castle
This tour was fantastic! We spent the majority of the time on the castle grounds. Anna was a wealth of knowledges and was great. We finished with a stroll to the Lenin wall and Charles Bridge. Highly recommend if you want to optimize your castle experience

Wonderful time full of great education and conversation.
Jack (Honza) was excellent and we really enjoyed the day touring and learning about the historical significance of Kutna Hora. Lunch was delicious and it was a great experience.

We had an excellent tour with Michal. He was really informative and very knowledgeable about history . He was also very professional but still friendly. I really recommend taking this tour. You learn a lot of information about the the city and the castle which you probably would never know if you didn't take the tour.

Michal was our tour guide from Explore Prague. The itinerary was not the typical Old Town sites, which is what we were looking for since we had already been in the city for a few days. We went to some of the lesser known sites, several were more art oriented. He knew his history well and the descriptions were clear and interesting. Dont hesitate - book it.

My husband and I took this tour with Michael. It was originally a group tour but ended up being private because other people cancelled. We absolutely loved this experience! Michael was a great tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and enjoys talking about his city. He showed us a lot of places we wouldn’t have found on our own and answered all of our questions. He’s super friendly and easy to talk to. This tour was one of our favorite parts of our visit to the city, highly recommend to anyone in town- especially if you want to learn a little history about Prague.

Honza (Jack) was incredibly informative and fun. He told us interesting anecdotes about the city that I’m sure would have been missed on other tours! His picture book that showed us photos of Prague in the past was a great touch. This tour really gives you a taste of the real culture of Prague - and his food recommendations were great too. Cheers Honza!

First off, our tour guide Honza (aka Jack) started off the tour by saying that we would see Prague the way that locals see Prague and he was right. He took us through the hidden passages and gave us some incredible back stories to the buildings and offered keen insight into the culture of the Czech people. His passion was such that he even went over time and offered to stay over to complete his tour.

This might be small item, but the ONLY suggestion I would make is for him to have the microphone and earpiece receivers for people on the tour. He did a wonderful job of speaking the whole time, but with all the construction and traffic, it was sometimes hard to overcome the environmental noise.

Go get yourself a beer Jack, you certainly deserve it!

I meant to write this immediately following our tour but then travel got in the way. WE couldn't have been happier with this tour and Honza. Very informative, kept us interested the whole time and Honza clearly enjoyed what he was doing. Extremely knowledgeable of the area and added so much facts and trivia along the way. Absolutely recommend doing this tour to get to know the city a bit deeper.

We had a brilliant tour with Anna who led us through all sorts of interesting and significant areas in central Prague. The tour included all the key tourist spots and a number of quiet alleyways, gardens and old and contemporary art installations. We asked many questions and Anna was able to give very detailed answers including her perspective on Prague’s very interesting and varied history. We could not recommend a tour with Anna highly enough.

Wonderful tour. Honza imparted an incredible amount of information in the time available as he whisked us from Wenceslas square, through passageways, shopping malls, into the Jewish quarter and beyond. His stories were fascinating and never felt like rehearsed patter. He’s obviously passionate about Prague and its history but he also looked after us so well - including toilet breaks and a visit to a cafe. A great way to spend an afternoon.

Had an amazing tour with Michal! It did not feel like a generic tour where the guide reads off a script and shuttles people from place to place. Michal was so passionate about the Prague and it’s interactions with other countries during key historical events. He answered all our questions very well showing how knowledgeable he is. He was also incredibly pleasant to chat with because he would share his experience as a local and he is also very pleasant to interact with. We were so lucky that the other party in the group tour didn’t show up and we ended up getting a private tour allowing us to ask more questions and get a more specialized experience! Michal is very very good at his job and he really made up for a pretty rusty tour we had the day prior with another tour company.

I had a single day to explore Prague so I couldn't afford to make poor use of that time. The reviews for Explore Prague were stellar, so that's what I wanted to do. Mike, the tour manager, indulged my emails over a couple of weeks as I waited to see if the tour would take place (FYI, two people minimum required to run most tours, which is fair). Ultimately, a group of four signed up and the five of us went together with tour guide, Honza.

What I liked most about Honza was how seriously he took the job. In Prague and some other countries, you need take a course and become officially registered to become a tour guide. Honza began by proudly discussing these credentials. He's clearly a history buff and friendly and personable to boot. Everyone enjoyed the tour despite gloomy, wet weather. At the end, Honza pointed me to a local eatery away from the touristy spots and that was a perfect conclusion right before I headed to the train station for my next stop.

I would highly recommend this organization and Honza for your next trip to Prague.

My son and I found this to be a great tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable who had great passion for the history, art, architecture, and culture that had us wishing the tour was longer. This does not just hit the highlights but also showed us parts of the city tourists wouldn't think to go. We even took a lunch recommendation from our guide for afterwards and were not disappointed!
