Our guide was a little hard to understand at times but overall was not an issue. The hotel pickup is actually taking a taxi with guide to sight but probably is the only practical way to get there. Recommend.

To be able to have someone drive you out and give a little tour of the local city once you arrive is a nice experience. The tour of Pilsner Urquelle itself was very good, a must see if you are spending multiple days in the city. Our guide from Lucy Tours was a great guy, shared some insights about Prague on the drive in and gave us about a 1.5 hour walking tour of the city Plzen. There are a few cools and quant things to see there, and help make the drive out there worth it.

Excellent guide—very informative, personable and professional. Cheerfully answered multiple questions with insight as well as patience; even explained what we were seeing on the drive from Prague to Terezin. Very clean and comfortable van. At Terezin, sobering yet well-done presentation of difficult experiences; not too graphic for children. Highly recommend this tour!

Jan was everything you want in a guide and then some. After seeing most of the top sites in Prague we wanted to go further afield to see Terezin. On the 45 min drive out of Prague we got a wonderful narration on Czech culture, history and folklore. Jan was so knowledgeable and interesting. The tour of Terezin was both fascinating and wrenching —- so worthwhile. Jan knew exactly how to pace the tour to fit our needs. This tour was the perfect culmination of our 3 days in Prague.

An outstanding private morning tour of Terezin with a very knowledgeable guide. Lenka Jaklova of Lucy Tours was on time for our pick-up, efficient, knowledgeable, sincere and patient. A delight to tour with. We learned much from her about this oppressive time.
We met the elderly father of a friend following our return to Prague, only to find out that as a boy, he was located to Terezin. Our lunch conversation was meaningful and intelligent.

This was an excellent tour to see and hear all of the history of the Jewish Concentration/Extradition Camp at Terezin near Prague.
Patrik is an excellent historian and tour guide who gave us such great information on the drive to and from Terezin about Prague.
When arriving at Terezin, Patrik was very thorough with detailed information about the camp which was far larger and involved than you can ever imagine until you see it.
Patrik closed out tour with so many additional recommendations to finish our day. I highly recommend Patrick and LucyTours. They have so many tour options, I will definitely call them again when I go back to Prague.

Four of us had a private tour with Roman on Sept. 2. He was a wonderful guide, picking us up and dropping us off on time at our hotel, and full of knowledge about Terezin. The tour was both sobering and interesting, and Roman handled it with sensitivity and a sense of history. Highly recommend this tour and this company. Thank you, Roman!

In a word - fabulous! Patric picked us up at our apartment exactly on time. Very professional and friendly. Spotless car. Careful driver. Very knowledgable. Very kind. I can only imagine how hard it is to do the Terezin tour multiple times a week, but Patric did not let on any fatigue to the subject.

This was an exceptional tour not to be missed. Lucy, our tour operator was very knowledgeable about Terezin. She was thoughtful and kind. She arrived promptly at our hotel and guided us through the museums and the little fortress. I highly recommend this tour.

This tour reinforces the words of Winston Churchill (used as the title for this review). Jan provided us with a professional, historical and thoughtful insight of Terezin as a military town and prison from the late 18th century. Special emphasis was focused on its use as a model (German propaganda) Jewish Ghetto when in fact it was a transit point to the death camps of the Third Reich. We came away with a better understanding of this part of the Holocaust through Jan’s excellent knowledge of the subject.

Patrik, our guide, was so kind and friendly. I appreciated the hotel pickup service and starting the information on the ride to the camp. It is a somber experience, but Patrik has so much knowledge that I looked on the tour as a true hands on educational experience.

This tour was very good, and our guide, Peter, was excellent. He is very passionate about what he does, and is extremely knowledgeable. We were very glad to have had him as our guide, because he shared a ton of knowledge. Although very sobering to see this, we were glad we took this tour. It's one thing to know what happened in places like this but quite another to stand there and see it.

I’m sorry. I was there in the summer. I know that you are driven in a private car. Takes about an hour to get there. You are outside 70% of the tour, so just research the almanac for the temperatures at that time and adjust accordingly. I’m thinking that if you have a coat, hat, and gloves with you, you will be fine!
