Half-Day WWII Prague Walking Tour
From $40.55
Overview
Get an informed look into Prague's World War II history during this 3.5-hour walking tour. You'll make stops at landmarks significant to the country's wartime history, including the Čechúv bridge, the former Gestapo headquarters, and the Old Town Square. Public transportation fees, museum entry, and coffee or tea included.
What to Expect
Meet your guide and tour group in by the Charles Bridge in central Prague at 1:30pm.
Set off through the city on foot, listening to your guide's insightful commentary as you walk. You'll come to a better understanding of how some of the major events of WWII played out in the Czech capital, including the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich, otherwise known as 'The Butcher of Prague'. Stop at the place where the Czechs fought their last battle, now a museum. See the former SS and Gestapo headquarters and stroll through Old Town Square. Hear storied of the Czechs who defended their country and see authentic photos from that time.
End your tour at the Čechúv bridge after 3.5 hours.
