Prague Food and Culture Tour with Local Foodies
From $108.95
Overview

If you want to eat like a local in Prague but don’t know where to go, take this half-day culinary walking tour. Visit five locally loved eateries, where you’ll taste artisanal cheese and charcuterie, accompanied by local beer, wine, and liquor. You’ll meet the chefs and learn about the history of Czech cuisine. And because the tour’s limited to a small group, you can ask plenty of questions.

What to Expect
Meet your guide in central Prague and set out on a 4-hour small-group walking tour to the city’s culinary hot spots. You’ll visit places where locals eat and learn about Prague’s culinary and cultural history from your guide, taking plenty of time to ask questions.

Visit five locations, including delicatessens, pubs, and cafes in off-the-beaten-path neighborhoods. Taste regional staples and seasonal food, including artisanal Czech cheeses and speciality charcuterie platters. Sip local drinks, including craft beers, Czech wine, and the spicy liqueur Becherovka. As you savor Czech cuisine, meet the chefs and hear their personal stories about Czech food.

Your tour will conclude in central Prague.

We did this on the first day in Prague, and it was one of the smartest investments of time we could make. We got a grant overview of Czech cuisine with a guide who was eager to explain and answer questions. The walking was not...More

I enjoyed it

We took this tour to get acquainted with the food scene of Prague. So we would have an idea of what was worth our time during the rest of the stay. Things got off to hectic start and we had to wait about 10 minutes...More

It was about 4.5 hours. It is laid back so no real set ending time.

As far as I am aware, there is no hotel pick up. We met at a designated spot which was on information sheet when I printed the voucher. I would look on that sheet as it might have a way to get in contact with the guide.
