    Lots of reading
I'm sure others will really enjoy the museum. But for us there was way to much reading. We expected it to be more interactive and we're disappointed. I feel if we had taken the guided tour option we would have probably enjoyed it more. The beer at the end was a nice touch, however we weren't told anything about them and was just left to drink them and go.

Great to know about czech beer history and the taster beers was very nice. This all being said the place smelt like urine and wasn’t very clean.

    Not open despite listed hours
We came on a Tuesday after 11 and it was not open. We called their telephone number and no answer. They need to update their info. Waste of our touring time.

Beer tasting in the home of beers
We took the basic tour with tasting basket. The tour is very informative and interesting and the 4 beers we tasted were really good. The staff is friendly and the place is clean and cool.

    Not a big thing
The museum is very small, not interactive, 4-5 small rooms long, does not worth the price, but the beers are great. We got 4 of them, each is 2 dl.

    Don’t believe their website
We wasted 2 hours (of our short stay in Prague) walking to this place, only to find it doesn’t open every day of the week, despite what is stated on their website. We met other disappointed visitors at the entrance. This lack of communication is unforgivable.

    Horrible
Don’t waste your money and time in this place because it is totally not worth it. It was so bad. There is nothing to see and nobody explains anything. Personnel is very rude, not professional at all. The mannequins in there were creepy but they probably had more fun than us. Not interesting and everything in there looked fake. We definitely regret it. It’s a scam, you can find better places even for cheaper.

Museum isn't interesting, the beer tasting is good
The museum was not too interesting for me, but i'm not a really beer lovers. For my friend was a bigger experience. The beer tasting was good, the atmosphare was really traditional.

Definitely pay this place a visit if in Prague
This museum teaches you all about the beer of Czech and the rooms have loads of souvenirs relating to beer such as beer coasters, bottle caps, glass bottles etc. At the end, you get a selection of 4 glasses of beer in which you can sit outside in their courtyard which was great in the middle of July.

    Pretty cool
This is pretty cool if you're a beer lover. Lots of information about beer and at the end, a tasting of 4 czech beers, which are plentiful!

    Worth a skip
Nothing to see really. Just some old bottles and some barley. This place is the classical definition of a tourist trap. But at least you get to try some beers and they were quite good.

Not a visit review, more a customer service and understanding review.
We had booked to visit Prague and bought our tickets for the museum online.
Prague was added to the self isolation list so we could not go.
I contacted the museum and despite the very clear ‘no refund policy’ they were understanding of the current climate and pandemic and today sent a full refund.
This sort of human behaviour will certainly make me visit when we can travel safely again.
Thank you to everyone at the brewery for an amazing (future) customer experience.

It is situated in the old part of the town square. As you walk in through the archway you go straight ahead to get your entrance ticket. It is value for money. You then go to the museum which covers Czech beer history but also world wide to compare. It looks at how the brewery side, and there are samples to smell. An installation shows briefly how the process is. It also covers some collectors items etc. The next part is down the basement and you need to climb a few stairs. It is minor, so if you are unable to climb the steps, or suffers from claustrophobia, you can miss this part and still get a good experience. As it was, my friend, felt it was too narrow for her, so she sat outside on the bench, and when I handed over my tokens for beer samples, four each, were put in a basket, and the staff carried these outside for us. We spend a good hour savouring the different tastes of beer. I then went downstairs to hand in the holder with the glasses. It offers some souvenirs too. It was such as cosy and relaxing thing to do on a Sunday. I have been to other breweries before, and in comparison, I really liked this style as not too overwhelming nor touristic, and all in your own pace. Well worth it!

For those who want to learn more about Czechia's beer history/industry, this is the place to go to. At the end of the tour, you get 4 samples of local beer and also you can customize your own beer bottle. Worth of a visit for all beer aficionados.

We really enjoyed the self-guided tour and our four beers. Jessica was super helpful when we bought our tickets and offered so much extra information. She was also served the beer at the end of the tour and answered all our questions about the four different beers. We ended up buying some of the beers we sampled to take home.

The museum itself isn’t mind blowing. Staff don’t guide you around so it’s just a lot of reading which you could easily do through Google.

The beer tasting is good nonetheless. 4 half pints to get through which is good value. The only let down is your put into this basement with weird mannequins everywhere…

Bottled beer is a good souvenir, however the staff couldn’t seem less interested if they tried.

Worth giving a go if you’re a beer lover, but I personally wouldn’t go again.

A fun way to spend 2 hours. The self guided tour of the museum is pretty short. Not interactive, just visual and you read the info but it's still interesting with a large collection of bottles and beer mats etc.
They are very generous with the beer tasting. Again no guide but just fun to do with family or friends. Excellent value for money. You can drink inside in the historic pub or outside in the sunny cobbled courtyard. You can buy crisps and nuts. Then you create a label and bottle a souvenir beer to take away. Great fun.

Nice to self tour at own pace.
History of beer making in Prague, with limited exploration of associated trades such as Cooper's etc and photos illustrations to assist knowledge.
2 hours should be enough time.
Split into 2 parts, both subterranean.
Get the feeling some staff are just there to work rather than having a passion about brewing or the craft of beer consumption.
Having said that, big shout out to Jan (or, Yan?) whom was your front of house first contact whom greeted us with smiles and enthusiasm. Great engagement and connection with UK patrons.
4 beers on conclusion of tour where you can enjoy downstairs or in a Soviet bar, or even outside in courtyard....nice touch and vibe.
Opportunity to purchase momentous and anything connected with what you've seen.

A nice few hours to kill, with decent beer at the end as a reward. It's ok..

Excellent experience, we spent here 2 hours and there were a lot of fun. Apart from all the information about the beer in Czechia and in the world there were a lot of exposed things beer connected : glasses, toy trucks, pints and bottle from all over the world. And the beer tasting at the end of the tour was one of a kind. Best value for money, we do recommend a visit.

good student discount (was 200 CZK each). the tour consists of 2 buildings with information and objects to learn about. it is rather information heavy and not very interactive- but that’s what you get with a self-guided tour. at the end you go down to 2 bars and receive 4 glasses of beer to taste. the beer was great! me abs my partner spent a couple hours drinking them and enjoying the pub designs
