On arrival in the UNESCO-listed town, absorb the sense of history infused in the squares, pastel-painted houses, and narrow streets. Take a walking tour, visiting must-sees including the Gothic, Renaissance, and baroque mansions once owned by powerful medieval nobles, hearing about the town’s history from your guide. Then head for Cesky Krumlov Castle, the fortress that dominates the town, and the Czech Republic’s second-biggest. In summertime, explore the main rooms with their antiques, tapestries, and weaponry. Scenic and relaxing river tour
Make sure to bring headphones as the tape at the front of the boat is not loud enough to be heard all of the way through. Other than that a nice scenic river tour.

      Well worth it.
Stephane was our guide. Very fluent in English and a very good tour guide. He was very cognizant of the time. This is bus, boat and walk. Although the walk was very nice, this isn't for folks who have trouble walking as there are steps and bumpy sidewalks.

      Best of Prague
There were very few of us on the tour so we had a very personalised tour. Our guide, Sofie, was extremely knowledgeable and answered our questions as we drove around the town. We then toured the castle grounds on foot (entrance inside not included in the tour). Collected by the bus we then went on a boat trip, our guide pointed out buildings along the way. Drinks and food can be bought on the boat. We then walked to the Jewish Quarter and ended at the astronomical clock. So much information was shared, excellent value for money.

      Dinner Boat Signsge beware!
The boat dock personnel were extremely rude and sent us to the wrong dinner boat so we were sweaty and almost missed our dinner boat a long walk away They need much better signage Also surprised over half of cruise you just are stopped due to water rising and falling ….. staff on board was nice & meal adaquate

      Dinner and no drinks
The original boat was down, and the check in and subsequent departure was chaotic and late, and the substitute boat had a difficult seating area up top, and there was only a cash bar, so not even water was included. It was only cash, not credit cards... which was not clear prior to boarding. The cruise itself was nice, albeit being shorter than advertised.

Your was good but too expensive
Unfortunately it was raining so our tour had to be cut short. The cruise was not an hour, there were other tour groups going on the same boat so it took long to load and unload which made rive cruise shorter.

Excellent tour -- loved the river cruise included
This was amazing! It included a walking tour, and river cruise at the end. We were able to see all the main sites during this time. Perfect for those on time crunch!

      Not worth it.
The trip was sold as an hours river cruise, we left the dock at 5.15 and we’re back at dock at 5.45. 30 minute cruise, we queued for longer. Don’t bother.

      Ok but not as sold
A45 minute boat trip not an hour as sold. Boat clean and commentary good if a little behind. If I’d researched better I would have gone with a smaller boat

      A nice overview of Prague
Nice overview of Prague, including the history. A good combination of bus, walking and boat. There is a chance to eat on the boat, but food is very simple, though inexpensive. The bus was warm so dress appropriately. The guide was good. A little free time at the castle. The pace is good but there are some hills and steps.

      High level overview
Very high level overview. No entrance fees included. No narration of sites while on boat. Not the tour for y you if you are looking for detail.

      Room for improvement
There was a large group in line with no tickets. The non ticketed group should have been instructed how or where to buy tickets while waiting in the line rather than holding everyone up buying when boarding. Refreshments on board were cash only in Czech money. This was not mentioned on the website. We could not hear much of the information coming from the speaker. Fortunately the views were lovely.

      Relaxing Day Trip
A trip to Karlovy Vary was an enjoyable day trip out of Prague. Our guide Karolina was so friendly, we felt like family. The hot springs are interesting and different. The ride up the funicular to the watchtower gives you a good view of the beauty of the homes, businesses and landscape.

Complete scam of a company. They overbooked the tour and then expected us to keep our kids on the lap for the entire 3hr bus tour. They even didn’t have the decency to take us back to hotel when I cancelled. Priority for them is not customer satisfaction, service or safety but money 💰

Dear Gebla, thank you for taking the time to review our company. I am really sorry for this situation and also that receptionist didn´t inform you about the policy. If you have a child under 3yo you are not paying for the child and also it means it doesn´t guarantee a seat for the child. It is the same as in airplane children under 3yo are usually for free but without their own seat. I am really sorry for your bad feeling. We really care about our clients. Yours Sincerely, Nicole

Great tour - a definite must-see as a day trip from Prague. Timona was a great guide. Bus ride was comfortable. The lunch was not included, but the group went all together to a good place where we got our own downstairs room. Absolutely beautiful and charming town. The tower was a bit overpriced, so I wouldn’t necessarily recommend that, but this tour overall was definitely worth doing and a good value for the price.

The castle and the city centre are very cute. The trip is a bit long but comfortable. The bus tour takes you near the castle entrance and then you are accompanied by the guide along the main parts of the venue. The guide (Karolina) is adorable. She will tell you a lot of historical / geographical information and she is always available

Warning! Don’t book with this company - they are very unreliable. We booked and paid for this tour several days in advance at our hotel. We were told we would be picked up from our hotel at 8:30, but the driver never came. When the hotel finally got through to Premiant, we were told the bus had already left from a station far from the hotel at 8:45! It was very disappointing since we had planned everything around this tour. Fortunately we got our money back, but we ended up with a wasted day.

We just took the most fabulous tour with Michaela as our tour guide, to Cesky Krumlov. It was so professional, bus was very comfortable, and tour was fantastic. Michaela was so knowledgeable about Czech history and culture and was able to give us an outstanding tour of the castle and town of Cesky Krumlov with excitement and passion. One of the best tours we have ever been on. And not to mention Cesky Krumlov was absolutely enchanting and beautiful. Thank you Premiant Tours and Michaela!

This was my favorite thing I did on my trip to Prague (even though it was not in Prague). I initially thought why should I go to another beautifully preserved European city, since I was already in one, but I'm so glad I did. There is nothing like Cesky Krumlov. It was a transportive experience and Micaela (my guide) was wonderful. Would highly recomend this tour.

The sights of Cesky Krumlov are totally breathtaking. No question that its worth the nearly 2 1/2 hour trip from Prague to see the castle/palace and the old town. But .. we felt let down by the organization and logistics of the trip. So here are the things you should know.

    1. Our tour was bilingual (and that possibility was stated online). However, it meant that every item was repeated in English and Spanish which made for a lot of words we didn't understand. Our speaker was also more fluent in Spanish, so those explanations were longer.
    2. We arrived just before noon, and spent an hour going through the gardens and outside of the palace. All downhill. That took us into the village about 1:15pm, where we had "free time" to explore and eat lunch.
    3. We needed to be back at the castle (back up the very steep hill!!) at 3pm for a guided tour of the insides. Lunch then exercise!
    4. When that was done at 4pm - we went back downhill again to the square and had another 45 minutes of free time.
    5. We then left at 5 to get to the bus. Except the guide left 2 people behind and then blamed them for not paying attention.

The entire day amounted to over 9,000 steps (4-4.5 miles) of walking - mostly up and down the steep hill. About half the party didn't go back up for the castle tour as it was too hard for them. Why not arrange the tour at a different time so you don't have the up and down??

    The positives.

    6. Our tour guide, Maria, did know a lot of history and willingly shared it.
    7. The castle tour guide was *so* passionate about the history - it was amazing.
    8. The sights and view of the town from the palace were absolutely stunning.
    9. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in town - the cheaper (and better) ones are away from the square.

So .. visit the town - but ask questions about languages and the schedule of events!! 5 stars for the town, 2 for Premiant.

If this was helpful please hit that little button close by. Thanks.

Dear John C, thank you for taking the time to review our company. We are really sorry that the tour did not meet your expectations. Tour runs in one language only in case that we have fully booked bus in one language but otherwise we normaly do bilingual tours and we inform clients about it at our site and also in our leaflets. Thank you for advises, we will try to improve our service. Yours sincerely, Dana Pocnarová

It is unfortunate that this has to be written but I feel compelled to provide this information so that other future travelers (and Trip Advisor) will not experience the very disappointing tour and tour guide, KAROLINA, from your company. Firstly, we were led to believe this would be a English Speaking tour but it was not. It was English and Spanish, which meant everything was repeated which added up to a lot of time. Questions to the tour guide from a Spanish speaking tourist was never repeated with an answer to the English-speaking group, which is very rude and unprofessional of a tour guide. The bus was the smallest we have ever taken on a tour that was 3 hours one way, 6 hours + total. Sitting and leg room was very cramped! There was a very sick tourist allowed to be on the tour which concerned all on board the small bus for our health. The Tour Guide should have questioned the person from being on the tour. Our Guide failed to accompany us on our English speaking only tour of the castle as she said she would so the Spanish tourist were unable to understand any of the tour. She was supposed to translate for them. She many times left one of the two groups alone as she spoke to the other. People tended to wander then. She failed to communicate to some of the group as to when and where we had to meet at the end of the tour and as a result 5 members, 3 in one family and a couple, did not return to the bus with the rest of the group along with the tour guide. She basically lost those 5 folks which should never happen. Finally, after all were accounted for our guide, KAROLINA, allowed ½ of the group to be dropped off at their Old Town Hotels and then had the driver leave Old Town (where the rest of the folks on the bus had their hotels) and drive to the out skirts of town so she could be dropped off early to go to her home. Then the driver was left with the responsibility of taking us back to Old Town to our hotel. I felt, as others did, that her responsibility to see that all her folks on the tour got home properly and safely was abandoned by her! In my years of experiencing tours I have never seen this reckless behavior.
I can never ever recommend this company and especially this tour guide.

We booked our trip the evening before and received confirmation immediately that we would be collected from our hotel in the morning. The pickup was on time and we met our tour guide Karolina who was simply a delight. We heard a lovely collection of history about the Czech Republic and appreciated Karolina’s insights and humour. She made the trip just wonderful. Cesky Krumlov itself was stunning, and we highly recommend this tour as an easy way of making the trip.

Beautiful picturesque town with many photo ops. Restaurants were ok, nothing to write home about and some nice souvenir shopping places. The scenery may have been compromised as it was Nov and not a lot of colour in terms of grass and flowers but still a must if you are nearby.
