- Monica M0 contributionsGood afternoon activity, with just slight areas for improvement. Was in Prague with my elderly mother and teenage daughter for a few days. I teach History, so know all about this place, but it was my mum who was really desperate to go. It was an informative and enjoyable trip. Peter, the guide, was clearly very knowledgeable and experienced, & I particularly enjoyed his commentary on the way to Terezin as he spoke about the History of Prague as well as pointing out important landmarks from WW2, e.g the location of the assassination of Reinhard Heiydrich. What was slightly disappointing is that the trip did feel quite rushed and rather passive and it wasn’t Peter who took us around the small fortress, it was a member of staff but then Peter repeated some information after that so feel that could have been coordinated better. My mum has a walking stick and the amount of walking with no stops or time for food (the teenager was a bit tired too) would be something to consider, especially since we’d left our hotel at 11am and were not back until 7pm. We had brought lunch with us and snacked on it, but we weren’t sure if we were ‘allowed’ so made it a little awkward. There’s not enough time to do everything of course and it still a worthwhile trip and important historical site to visit , but would just suggest that the layout of the visit is communicated more clearly at the beginning with clear overview of walking expectations etc ( we didn’t know we would be going down a 500 meter long tunnel underground with stairs and uneven ground for example), that there’s more coherent overview between guides & that perhaps a little bit more interaction with individual guests where possible, eg checking for understanding or focusing on one key era. Whilst I already knew a lot my mum and daughter struggled at times to keep up or to understand without understanding being checked & I had to explain or synthesis a lot of what was being told to us.Written October 23, 2024
- Thacky20150 contributionsMemorable tour the beautiful city of PragueThroughly enjoyed our 2 hour bus tour round the beautiful city of Prague. Information provided was insightful and really helped us understand the history behind the beautiful architecture and sites of Prague. The architecture is beautifully preserved and fine fettle. We had a welcome 40 mins break at the castle to tour the castle and surrounding buildings take on some refreshments and take some awe inspiring hill tops views of Prague & river.Written September 8, 2024
- pauldevenny0 contributionsVery informative tour of the Terezin Memorial and related sites.Excellent, informative guide who has had a career in tourist guiding and grew up locally. Able to answer all questions with detail. Great timing on tour with fort, cemetery, crematorium, and museum all on the agenda. Packed with information. Heart-wrenching to see the paintings made by the children who were shipped to the extermination camps.Written August 12, 2024
- OnAir621993471910 contributionsRushed and inappropriate commentaryThere wasn’t enough time, so we were rushed around 3 venues. The last one we had 20 minutes in a museum, which was pointless. The tour guide was too politically opinionated for my liking, and looking at some of the faces of other guests I was not alone. He was pretty macabre as well. At one point he laughed as he mimed the hanging of a human being. There was zero time for quiet and reflection, which I feel was necessary visiting such a place.Written June 21, 2024
- canadianmaple670 contributionsA worthy tour during your stay in PragueOur guide, Peter, was phenomenal. His passion and knowledge of Terezin and Prague exceeded all expectations. My partner and I felt the tour was educational and we gained a lot from seeing the camp, ghetto, memorial, and museum. Thank you Peter for making this a wonderful experience for us!Written June 6, 2024
- amy7520230 contributionsHuge disappointment - don’t do itThis was a truly waste of money and time. We did Prague unlimited tour which supposedly included a walking tour, a boat tour, and a bus tour. We were only two couples so we thought, great we can ask questions and have a really interesting tour. Boy were we wrong! Well the walking tour didn’t happen. All our guide did is to usher us from the meeting point to the bus, through the grounds of Prague palace in less than 15 minutes with barely any explanation about the palace or the cathedral to our lunch spot. When the “tour” was complete, she gave us 45 minutes to take pictures and see the change of guards. We got annoyed when we asked questions so a hour into the tour, we stopped asking. The lunch was not great and no one got their soup or salad although it was part of what was included in the lunch. Oh and if you want any drinks or water, be ready to pay for it. After lunch, she dragged us to the boat again not really pointing things out or explaining anything. The boat was a waste of time as well. The explanation were done through speakers which made it hard to understand anything. After the boat tour, she again rushed us to the meeting point for the bus. One lady needed to stop to buy some water to take her meds, but the guide wasn’t having it. She said no and kept walking. We arrived at the final meeting point with about 40 minutes to spare. She could have explained some history about the clock tower or the square or anything actually but no. She said bye and don’t be late for the bus. Our bus tour was at 4 pm, smack in the middle of the insane traffic. And there was no guide on the bus, just earphones and a recording. The we’re stuck in the traffic for a while so we decided to get of the bus and walk home. The tour was super expensive about $100 per person and such a huge disappointment. It was truly a waste of our time and money.Written May 26, 2024
- Journey5219470 contributionsFascinating insights into a tragic timeGreat guides, very well informed, who provided lots of interesting information and were able to answer questions. A very thorough and helpful visit! A small group in a very comfortable bus with an excellent driver.Written May 19, 2024
- abK7727PS0 contributionsThis company rips people off and their sales people will tell lies to get your money! Take the authentic hop on hop offThis company will do anything to get you money. They promise you a tour then put you on an APP on the bus which doesn't work all that well. The salesperson lied to us and told us we would have audio and free entrance. We should have known better. Take the authentic HOP on HOP off sightseeing bus which is a much better experience. The sales people are also more honest. These people really are thieves. Once they get your money they disappear!Written April 17, 2024
- dubs1110 contributionsAmazing TripAbsolutely fantastic trip. This is in relation to the history of WW2 war & camps. Our tour guide was exceptional, very knowledgeable and went above and beyond ensuring we had a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend this trip if history interests youWritten January 2, 2024
- becky_barrie0 contributionsVery enjoyableThis is our second visit to Prague last time we were exhausted from all the walking and still didn't get to see enough so it was a lovely experience being on the tour, it was very informative and I loved the traditional classical music playing between sights. We stopped at Prague Castle. You have a short time to look around, then return to the tour, and we opted to stay and do castle tours instead, which isn't a problem at all. Our driver was lovely and very experiencedWritten December 1, 2023
- WorldTraveller30230 contributionsDisappointingThe trip left very late. The driver had poor hygiene and was an aggressive driver. He passed several vehicles in a construction area going to Cesky Krumlov. The tour guide did not introduce himself and spoke English very poorly. We could not understand what he was saying. The castle tour guide was good, and the town was beautiful.Written November 11, 2023
- paullips30 contributionsA unique, important and very well managed tour of a uniqueExcellent guides and very full overview of the history and impact of these horrible years of Nazi occupation. This is a unique story, one of Nazi extreme propaganda cover story for Red Cross examination of their treatment of Jews in ‘camps’, among the many terrible examples of the internment and extermination of European Jewish people. Again. Very interesting and well managed tour.Written November 6, 2023
- 178justicec0 contributionsGood way to get an overview of this amazing city. The first thing we did on arrival was to use Martin Tour for a quick orientation of the city. Certainly worth doing. The bus was rather old and yes the historic cobbles will shake you about, but it was easy to book, well organised and you received a nice welcome. The commentary, which was very interesting is in many languages. Please note: the tour stops at the Prague Castle complex. You can alight there for a 40 minute walk around/refreshments, but if you don't re-board at the requested time there's no refund on your ticket.Written September 21, 2023
- 741kimberlyi0 contributionsToo much walking, but very good content. The content of the tour was very good, but there was far too much walking in hot weather. My wife has MS and found it extremely challenging…some of the brisk walking for no apparent reason I the ghetto area was far too muck. Perhaps you should indicate in your advertisements what the degree of challenge there is to the tour, due to the amount of walking. We could have spent more time at the museum. Also, you should indicate that there are multiple pick up and drop off locations so that we could have chosen the Republic Square which was closer for us.Written September 8, 2023

Wasn’t worth the time. No big deal. We asked for a tour in English. Our tour guide spoke very broken English was so hard to understand. She also didn’t have a lot of other information and was not able to answer questions.

The tour bus air-con was not working properly (It was 30+ degrees!) So when we got stuck in traffic (not the tours fault, obvs) it was unbearable!
Then we spent longer in the gas station on the way than we did in the bone church, which was the whole reason for our trip.
The tour guide was knowledgeable but unfortunately her English was not as good as we hoped (definitely way better than my Czech, but I'm not giving tours!), and after telling us to get back on the bus no later than 20 mins later, she strolled up 15 mins later than that! (And she decided to go to the back of the bus and have a nap at one point).
Overall, the trip was not enjoyable, the heat played a big part but an air-conditioned bus would have stopped that being such an issue.
I wouldn't use this tour again unfortunately.

We were picked up promptly at our accommodation by Phillip and our guide Giulia took us to Kutna Hora. We were briefed with lots of interesting history of both Prague and Kutna Hora along the way. We visited the Sedlec Ossary, fascinating and a bit creepy use of bones in a creative manner. Then on to town to St Barbara’s Cathedral, really imposing . Lots of photo opps and ample time for looking around to appreciate the architecture in this appealing old town. Worth a visit and thanks to Giulia.

The tour guide was very informative and the tour was well planned with just enough time at each place and the guide was very clear about where to meet and how much time we had. The bone church is an amazing place.

Our guide on this tour, Sophia, was the best. She was so knowledgeable about all the places we visited in Kunta Hora and also gave us lots of commentary about Prague and the Czech Republic on the drive each way. The bone church was something very unique but my favorite was the Gothic Cathedral of Santa Barbara with its beautiful frescoes and carvings. We had a walking tour from the Cathedral to the medieval town center and had time for lunch there. I'm glad we took this tour and would highly recommend it.

If you want to see the bone church and honestly the better church being St Barbaras then this is the trip for you. Easy to meet under the clock, guide is well signed ( had an umbrella). No need to book just arrive and pay on the day so if you are suffering from a dreaded hangover from a bachelorette party ( no names mentioned) then you lose no money. The bus is new and clean and the trip is quick. the bone church is something to behold, quirky and worth the photos but it is tiny and won't take longer than 15 minutes to look around. A quick bus ride and short 10 min walk to St Barbara's church and WOW ! The church itself is magnificent but the artwork and especially the stained glass windows are spectacular. Well worth the visit. We went in early March and it was freezing cold so wrap up. Good point is that mulled wine is sold outside but obviously to be finished before entering the church. The traditional lunch that you go to afterwards is not bad, food wasn't exactly my taste but overall the opinion was average. Unfortunately the beer is only a tiny glass but you can order more and for the price it's actually pretty good value. Only thing to note is that you get dropped back off at a different point which ended up being about 10 - 15 mins from where you meet, not a big deal but good to know.

We took the Kutna Hora and Ossuary Bone Church tour on 8/9 at 12:30. It was very hot, and there was no air-conditioning on the bus. We thought that it was probably common in Prague to be without air-conditioning, hence, we endured the long drive only to find that in the end, after almost everybody was off the bus, the tour guide turned on the air-conditioning for him and the driver to cool off (the bus was equipped with AC after all!)(I saw him pushed the AC button, and immediately felt the cooling air). This is not a case of a broken bus. It is just inexcusable that they did this, disregarding the senior people on the bus. I myself became nauseating at the end of the long ride. I asked the tour guide why he didn't turn on it on as I got off the bus. He said that it was on, but it was impossible to cool the whole bus because it's too hot. Can you believe this?

Knowledgeable guide, but too rushed. Only 20 minutes or so at the Bone Church, then a tour of St Barbara's Cathedral, then herded through Kutna Hora to a series of lacklustre "sites" in the noon day sun. Given fifteen minutes to order food and eat at a pizza restaurant that the guide "recommended" before being led through town *again* to find the bus to head back to Prague. GIven that there was so little time and it was already almost 2 pm, there was no option other than this restaurant if anyone wanted food. Recommend bringing your own lunch or snack and definitely water as there were no stops programmed. The Ossuary is the highlight of this tour.
