- jonesytaos0 contributionsFun night for touristsThis event was such a fun night! We were a bit cautious when we first arrived, but it didn’t take long for the skilled musicians and lively entertainers to pull us in. Plenty of food and drink kept us going all night.Written November 13, 2024

- Ktgirl0 contributionsIt was okay, not our thingWe booked this event through our cruise line. The bus took about 20 minutes to get there and we were quickly seated at long tables. (crowded) I would say the room held 100 people. The meal was quickly set out, and was plentiful. Beer and wine included, and they were not stingy with the pours. However, two of us do not drink alcohol. The meal was a Czech dinner. Our friends agreed with us that it was ok, the musicians and dancers were talented. The first half of the show was good and then it got hokey and dragged on. I think we could have had a nice dinner in Prague for less. I would give it a 3.5 if I could.Written October 18, 2024
- barbw6400 contributionsMost enjoyable. We travelled with two Italian women and Martin was our guide and bus driver. He picked us up at our hotel and was very informative and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our day at Ceske Krumlov and the company.Written October 11, 2024

He said it was too far (15 minutes from where we were dropped off). Earlier, when he told me it was too far for him to drop me off, I mentioned that it would affect his tip. He said he didn't care. - old-man-orange0 contributionsCesky Krumlov - Worthwhile Day Trip !!We scheduled this day trip after being cancelled the last minute by a different tour company (Bohemia Walks - stay away from this company) Our hotel did a great job arranging and had the driver pick us up right at the hotel - added bonus. Martin was our driver/guide and did a nice job. The day was well paced and Cesky Krumlov is a great destination. Martin took us to a good restaurant by the river and sat with us for lunch. The tour concluded with a guided tour of the Castle by a fabulous young lady. At the end Martin was right there to escort us back to the van. There were only three of us and Martin was a pleasure to be with us and provided much useful information in route and at Cesky .... THANKSWritten September 27, 2024
- Mark B0 contributionsHad to find our own way backTour started off great lovely guide very knowledgeable however half way around started to get a little rushed but the main problem was the tour ended just before you go over charles bridge and we were told we would have to make our own way back to hotel .the brochure said over charles bridge then into the astronomical clock then drop of back at wenceslas which was close to our hotel we felt stranded as we had to make our own way back costing extra expenses for taxi .Written September 18, 2024

- chantalvO4816WU0 contributionsIt was nice, not worth the moneyIt was a nice boat ride, well organized and the staff is very friendly. The dinner isn't worth it. The food was average. We bought it as dinner but it was more a snack. We still had to pay for drinks. If you sit in the back of the boat you will be bombarded with bugs as soon as the sun goes down. So bad we had to move to another part of the boat. Overall the staff was very friendly and the scenery was pretty. We really enjoyed it irrespective.Written August 15, 2024

- huskerrn0 contributionsPass by this companySeems I will just be repeating things people have been mentioning for at least 2 years so why bother, as apparently the company doesn't really care. This includes rushing through the stops, no time for photos, not being told about what we see going through the city, guide rushing ahead, and I'm guessing we all stop at the same cafe for our 30 minutes. We were picked up at the hotel, which was great, but the driver complained the entire time about the company he works for and their poor management. I'd rather have learned about the sites we were passing. We got slowed by an accident enroute to Kutna Hora which resulted in us arriving about an hour late -- but not our fault. Don't cut out that hour on my time that I paid for. The driver should not have a license, let alone be allowed to transport others. Many of us complained about his dangerous driving (which including being on the phone and writing notes on a pad while he drove) but were told "you got back alive so what's the problem?" When we were dropped back at the start point, we were told to walk toward 'that spire down there' and we'd be close to our hotels. Seriously? How many spires are in this city? Was grateful I still have less than 10% of my phone service back. Definitely recommend going to Kutna Hora but not with this companyWritten June 22, 2024
- hannahericah0 contributionsGreat tourOur tour guide was excellent and very kind and informative. The tour was perfectly organised with small breaks in order to take photos etc and the tour guide was ready to answer all questions. Clearer instructions are needed regarding meeting points (on the website we could enter our hotel address, then we were told to meet somewhere else and given a link for google maps which was maybe not the correct area as nobody was there even though we arrived 15 minutes before the alloted time. apart from this, the tour itself was worth it.Written June 21, 2024

We booked this 6.5 hour tour across Prague through our hotel (Hotel Aida) via ‘Best Tour’.
Upon booking, we were given a pick up time in which a personal driver from ‘Best Tour’ would pick us up directly from our hotel and take us to the designated meeting point... to note, our driver arrived on time (in fact, a little early!) and everything went as planned.
Once dropped off we met our guide - Valentina, and she would be our tour guide for the day taking us around Prague and informed us what we would be doing.
Myself and my partner were dubious at first when we realised we were the only two people on the tour, (being winter, perhaps not too much of a surprise) however, thanks to Valentina, our day turned out to be far better than expected!
A special mention to Valentina as she was the nicest person we met during our time in Prague and overall, she is a wonderful, kind and most intelligent guide you could hope to wish for. Not only did she inform us throughout the day of the facts and history behind Prague’s greatest treasures, she also made us feel at home throughout and gave a dedicated, friendly and personal feel to the tour.
We learnt more than we could have ever hoped for and saw Prague and beyond on what was a greatly satisfying tour!
I would 110% recommend this tour as you really do get to see and learn EVERYTHING you would want to know and see about Prague and if you have Valentina, no doubt you will have an even better time!

Driver was on time and very friendly and polite
The guide is in the car was not clear st all and route was not planned therefore it was difficult to understand what was going on.
Overall once we were by the gardens on foot the tour was better - clear and understandable and she explained in details even to our question.
Lunch was average and good
Alot of walking - get ready with comfortable shoes
Not much time to take pictures

The guide was nice and informative, lunch was included which was OK, the boat tour was simple included a cake and espresso. If you're getting picked up you must confirm the day before, I called that morning and was told that I had to find my own way which was OK since I was close-by. Saw all the main points of interest as an overview, went into Prague castle but not the tour, same for Jewish quarter just a view but no inside. Great for people who love to walk as the bus drops you off at a start point and the rest is by foot. Overall the sights are beautiful.

I took this tour two years ago with a lovely woman that did a fantastic job of guiding our group in very cold weather. I repeated the same tour this week to show my husband how wonderful Prague is, unfortunately the guide wasn’t the same, it felt like he was reading from a script ,very monologue. The tour had changed a bit , overall not as good. The sound system in the tour bad was fuzzy and poor quality, difficult to hear. The previous guide had many more wonderful pieces of history and stories of the places we walked past.

Liars. Even though the brochre claims Free Pickup/Drop-off, at the end of the tour, the guide told us we were on our own, will have to find a cab to take us back to our hotel. Huge group on bus, as knowledgeable guide (Simon) had to speak English and Apanish, he talked VERY fast. Off the bus- crowded with all of us, could barely hear him. He walked FAST ahead of us. The bus dropped us off at the castle and at the end of the castle visit we had to climb all the way to the bottom of the hill, through vineyards- steep climb down, some steps, mostly with no railing. Not great for us, elderly couple.
The fiasco ended up at the clock tower where, as I had mentioned, we were left to our own devices, even after pointing to the guide that the brochure advertized round trip... Never again, this is a huge rip off. In the USA, would be great for any lawyer. Never Again with this crooked company.

We booked this tour as we only had 2 days in Prague, the check in was very proficient and easy to spot the counter - it is under the Moran hotel in the square and is next to the money exchange person (you will see a small window and sign).
There was confusion from the beginning as we boarded the bus there were four German ladies who informed us that this was a German tour, they then checked and found out it was bilingual.
Our tour guide did not introduce himself, he was an older gentleman and very slow.!
He was knowledgeable but did not show any enthusiasm in his speaking and it was painful to sit/walk through 6.5 hrs of the tour.
The tour itself wasn’t bad although I think you could cover it all yourself very easily. The lunch was nothing exciting - soup and a chicken schnitzel and fries in a dindgy underground restaurant that was so so hot! The chicken had no sauce and no drinks were included (except tap water).
The German ladies said that the language translation wasn’t very well in German, they could understand the English and said his German was worse than the English. The gentleman that was our guide would answer questions we asked them but seemed to focus on the exact dates and centuries rather than give general overviews of the buildings and history that we were viewing. Everything was repeated 2 sometimes 3 times if the group was together and then said in English and German.
Lunch was not served until 2pm we were starving, a break was given for snacks at the castle but nothing provided all had to buy yourself. Yet the tour said snacks included.
After lunch we viewed the astronomical clock then had our Vltava river cruise. We had done a river cruise the night before and this one was no where near as good - small boat and crew were grumpy. Our guide told us that we could get a espresso or tea on board. We weren’t allowed a cappuccino only espresso or tea. We were also served a little cake that was delicious.
I would not recommend this tour - check who your guide is if it is someone younger it may be better. Find out if you will be packed onto a bilingual tour as this takes so much longer.
After being in Prague for just two days we had our bearings and could easily work out how to get to Prague castle ourselves (it’s free to get into and you don’t need a guide). Choose elsewhere for a tour.

Booked the tour from our hotel and taken to Wenceslas square to meet up with Jana our guide only 8 in our group so probably made it easier for the young lady to manage Lots to see and do starting at the Castle and cathedral then a longish walk down to Charles bridge . Then lunch at a pleasant restaurant followed by a walk around the old town and a boat trip. A lot of walking involved and as it was 37 degs the day we did it we were flagging a bit at the end but Jana rang us a taxi to get us back to our hotel .

Tour was with small group, bilingual (English and French). Had hard time to understand, very bad English and zero information. No history, just look at left, look at right, this is the building etc... We cut it short, and join the group on foot nearby.

How is your tour for older tourists? Im visiting Prague in May with my parents both in their 70s (just retired from work but they do tire after a while). Just wondering if they must sustain a vigorous pace or if there are breaks to sit for a wee bit.
Thanks!
