    Excellent Castle Tour with Katrin!
We had an amazing castle tour with Katrin! We learned so much history about the castle and Lesser Town that we never would have known if we had tried to walk around the castle on our own. Katrin is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell that she is very passionate about history and enjoys her job. Take this tour... you won't regret it!

    Beauty abounds
Terrific tour: Art Nouveau and Cubism in architecture and design, with knowledgeable and highly enthusiastic guide Matouš. So many gorgeous buildings and interiors with lots of historical context to augment appreciation. The final cafe of the tour is simply jawdropping.

    A delight for many senses.
Beer and Baroque tour with super impressive PhD art historian and beer impassionata Katarina. Visited 2 architecturally impressive millenia old abbeys with centuries old brewing stories and contemporary breweries. Plus a mind-blowing gorgeous library with editions dating back to 9th century. Fascinating - and tasty.

    Excellent Prague castle tour
We loved the tour around the Prague castle with Vadim! He's got so much knowledge and is excellent at sharing it. I would definitely advise to take this tour, with an additional remark that it would even be better to plan this tour after a more general introduction tour into Prague. We would have even better been able able to put the whole story in a larger perspective if we would have taken that more general introduction tour before as well. That's something Insight Cities does as well and even though we did not take that tour, considering our other experiences with them I expect it to be great and valuable too!

Wander through Prague beautiful gardens and their amazing history
I live in Prague so this was a treat to play tourist in my own town. And I am so happy I did it, not only did I get the story of the gardens which I take a shortcut through (and quite some story) but I also saw a beautiful garden I did not even know existed. Add to that the in depth story of the not only the gardens but also Prague, which were told in an engaging, detailed and funny manner. And left me not only more appreciative of democracy but also even more proud of the city I call home. Highly recommend and would definitely go on another tour.

    Highly recommended in depth tours
We definitely recommend using Insight Cities! Bonita and her team are so thorough in facilitating your most suitable city experience, and the guided tours are of such high quality! We took the Jewish history tour and Art Nouveau architecture tour of Prague and both were so interesting and entertaining. We love the mix of in-depth knowledge and understanding, time for conversation and surprising fun facts. Vadim and Bonita have so much knowledge of and passion for Prague and they are great at sharing all that.

Wonderful, beautiful and super interesting tour
I really learned so much on this tour - and I have lived in Prague for quite a long time! The gardens were perfect even in late October. I was transported with the descriptions of the lives of those who built these gardens (some hidden) 300, 400 and 500 years ago. Wonderful facts, quirky history, and mysteries unveiled. Lots of explanation around the meanings and placement of sculptures and frescos, as well as the gardens themselves. Did you know that grotto walls were intended to look grotesque? I won’t spoil the rest … A heart-filling experience that I would recommend to anyone who loves gardens and history.

    Fascinating and Enjoyable Experience
This was a extremely informative and fun experience. Beginning with behind-the-ropes access to the Strahov library, our guide Vadim delivered a stimulating and informative narrative on the historical context of what we were seeing. He then capped it off with beer tasting sessions at two nearby breweries, with stimulating conversations about a variety of subjects amongst our small group. Wholly enjoyable and worthwhile. Vadim was great—passionate and friendly. Well done.

    A unique and memorable experience
What a treat this was! A very intimate experience, where we were astounded by Bonita's knowledge and passion. She was able to tailor the tour to the needs of the group and we all learnt so much. I would highly recommend this experience if you like to delve beneath the superficial and to feel a real connection with historical Prague.

Stellar Tour! Essential for Connecting to the History and Architecture of Prague.
Vadim is amazing. A wealth of knowledge and a genuine interest in the subject. He was able to adapt to our somewhat higher level of background in architecture and urban studies and we had a fascinating conversation as we strolled through some of Prague’s most important environments. We learned a ton and also just had a great time sharing reactions and stories. As we were doing the tour, I saw crowds of tourists walking around and found myself thinking…”I wish every one who visited Prague came on a tour like this.” Highly recommended.

    Art Nouveau architecture in Prague.
Fantastic tour. Guide very knowledgeable an d passionate. As well as the architecture taught us a lot about Czech history and politics which influenced development. Not the cheapest tour we saw advertised but worth every penny.

    10/10 phenomenal tour
This was one of the best tours we have ever done. Great value. Vadim was wonderful, took the time to get to know us and what we wanted to experience out of this tour and the city of Prague. It was just us on the tour which really made the experience. We did the library as well which was phenomenal. Vadim was so knowledgeable and personable. We cannot recommend this tour enough. We know we will look into other Insight Cities tours!

    Great architecture tour!
My husband and I loved Bonita's Art Nouveau and Cubist Architecture tour. Not only did she introduce us to amazing exteriors and interiors but she provided so much historical, sociological and economic factors behind the styles. I think the tour would be a great jumping off point for any visitor who wants more grounding in Prague's and the Czech Republic's history. Highly recommend!

The tour made the trip! 100% would tour again.
This tour made our entire trip! Brilliant tour guide Vadim took us on a perfectly-paced walking tour filled with just the right amount of fun, history, and recommendations. He pointed us towards a restaurant at the end of our tour that we'd never have chosen ourself, but it ended up being one of the highlights. He read us perfectly! Will be choosing Insight Cities for more tours in the future.

    Vadim was THE BEST!
The three of us are experienced (nice word for old) world travelers with many private tours under our belts. With that said, our Dec 2023 "Art Nouveau and Cubist Architecture" with Vadim Erent was THE BEST! He took us places in Prague we could not have seen on our own; pointed out nuances in the intertwining of art and industrialization in Prague after 1900; and provided context and detail beyond our enthusiastic but amateur understanding of art nouveau and cubism in a charming, witty, kindly fashion. In addition Vadim offered insights about living, playing, and eating in Prague that led us to charming restaurants. We all thought this was an A+ tour and that we would seek out Insight Cities tours wherever they were available.

Ian Nascimento of Context Travel did an outstanding job as our tour guide. In just 3 hours he touched on all the important highlights. His knowledge of the rich history of Prague was evident and his ability to communicate and share his knowledge was greatly appreciated. If you are looking for a great and interesting overview of Prague this is the tour for you and Ian is the perfect tour guide

Awesome to visit the Jewish quarter. So much history, so much information. So much history I knew nothing about.

We took a ‘Stories of Jewish Prague’ tour with Nina who is a scholar of Judaic Studies. The tour was wonderful- very interesting, full of insightful information - Nina is a great storyteller and she kept the tour very lively and engaging. In addition to being a very knowledgeable and attentive guide, she also seems to be a very nice and fun person. Nina is passionate about the subject matter and its obvious to anyone listening - she was receptive to our questions and tailored the tour around our interests.

Insight Cities did not disappoint, they are a great tour company with high quality tour guides conducting very thoughtfully created fun tours. Communication leading to our tours was stellar, Bonita was very accommodating, extremely helpful, she went above and beyond helping us.

Overall, we had a wonderful time and enthusiastically recommend this tour - You will learn and see something new and fascinating, guaranteed.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review and plug for us. We love our touring company and our whole network of terrific guides in Prague and neighboring capitals. It's been a long ordeal for all of us in tourism, no surprise. It's just a joy to welcome travelers again. I think you were the first American group to show up in Prague in a year. We really appreciate it!

Thanks again. All of us who guide are pretty giddy to be helping travelers discover our cities again after this long crisis. We also offer a live stream tour of Prague's ancient Jewish quarter by special arrangement iwth the Jewish Museum here. If you know individuals or groups who would like to experience some of the great Jewish heritage sites that you did (but without the travel), thanks for pointing us out! Have a great rest of your summer.

Insight Cities is an amazing tour company- the historical knowledge, enthusiasm and professionalism of all of its tour guides are impressive. You will be sorry you missed this tour with Bonita, Vadim or Peter. I was phenomenally moved by their presentation and deep caring of their beloved City of Prague. It was that unique blend of intelligence and caring that shone through our tour. I came away with a much more profound understanding of the history of Prague and, in particular, its Jewish history. Phenomenally interesting and relevant --- especially in these times.
