So much fun at this medieval dining experience!

I went with a friend and we chose the 5-course meal which includes bread & cheese, soup, a Czech pancake, duck & chicken for the main course (if you choose the poultry menu) and an apple cake for dessert.
The food was really good, especially the main course. There are plenty of options if you prefer pork, fish or are vegetarian/vegan.
The drinks are unlimited so overall it’s really good value for what you pay!

The shows they had were brilliant: sword fights, belly dancers, a jester doing magic tricks & fire breathing.

The staff are fantastic, really friendly & our glasses were always full.

You sit at large tables for about 10 people and we met some lovely people from all over the world! There is such a good atmosphere there; if you’re willing to chat to the people at your table you will have a great night & meet some really interesting & fun people!
Make sure you get there early if you’re with a group so you can be seated together. The event started at 7:45 for us, we got there at 7:20 and there was already a huge queue.

Overall it was a brilliant experience, the place is very easy to find & I will definitely be recommending it to any family or friends staying in Prague.

Booked for the 3 course meal abit uncertain of what to expect. When we got inside we were greeted with a very authentic feeling medieval setup and actors. The starter and main course of pork we're good but the cake at the end was quite dry and most people around the room seemed to have left there's. The entertainment they had on was great from live music to sword fights and fire breathing. The only thing that wasn't the best was the "bottomless" drinks. I managed to get myself a fair few drinks in but definitely not as fast as you'd expect but other people on the table barely managed to get more than 3 beers in as there is too many people in the room to simply get around. Definitely needs either more staff or less visitors to be calling itself all you can drink beer. Besides this I'd definitely recommend the overall experience just don't go in with the same expectation of fast drinks as let's say bottomless brunches that we have in the UK

My wife and I were looking forward to this evening, of which we booked through "Get your Guide" unfortunately, the evening didn't start so well as our transport "which was part of the deal" was running late. However, the company kept us updated constantly via email and phone.
We arrived at the Medieval Tavern and were promptly seated downstairs. Our deal was for a 3 course meal with 2 drinks included, you can purchase more if you want.
Within our small party was a French lady and her three children and a German couple, we were all sat in a small area down in the dungeon. A member of staff who was dressed and in the Medieval character came over to take our orders. Throughout the evening different performers would visit our group and perform for us, this was very good. To be honest, the performers worked very hard all night long. Unfortunately, we all agreed the food wasn't as what we "imagined" it would be, don't get me wrong, it was okay.
All in all, I would say it was an okay evening.

The pictures look great and the rooms in the cellar are that. However, if you are seated in the conservatory, upstairs, with no atmosphere of a medieval room, bright lights and initially no music until I requested some, then it’s a completely different experience. The Jester walked in and out, the bagpiper walked in playing and out, stood with his back to the room and played to the next room, so what little you may have seen , by straining you neck , had been blocked. Belly dancer came in, as there was just enough room for her . Fire dancers, again none in the conservatory as there wasn’t enough room, a belly dancer came in with two tiny flames for a minute and swirled them around.
If we had been informed that the cellar was fully booked and viewing of the show was limited ( basically non existent) from the seating area, then we could have made a choice, but nothing was said, just take your money and not care. There were 36 people in the conservatory, at £50 a ticket, no wonder they didn’t say anything. Greed springs to mind. There must have been 150 - 200 people downstairs enjoying what they had paid for so enough business without the extra’s upstairs.
I believe the show would have been good if you were in the cellar, so if you are considering going here then have it in writing you will be seated appropriately otherwise like myself and 35 others it’s a total rip off.
The white wine was seemingly disgusting, red wine ok, and beer watered down.

I had booked this experience for my friends 21st birthday - we were very excited and I had saved and spent over £120 for this evening, under the impression it would be worth it.
We felt completely ignored by staff our entire time and left the event after only being there for just over an hour.
It was my understanding that the experience was so costly as it included unlimited drinks - my glass was filled once and it took 45mins to get someone’s attention to fill it. Whenever we finally did get someone’s attention and asked for some wine we felt like we had bothered them.
This was so deeply disappointing to us as id spent so much money for what we thought would be a really amazing night but we just feel so let down and to be honest i feel embarrassed that this was her birthday present. This was our only night in Prague, we’d travelled all the way from Ireland as we’d read such good reviews and I am so upset at how our experience went.

I loved feeling as if I was a part of history. I loved the show, especially the fire show at the end. The food was great too. The waitresses worked really hard to make sure everyone’s glass was full. To the future guests I’d say that I would definitely recommend this experience, however, be prepared to be a part of a huge crowd that is packed into a couple rooms like sardines. You also never know who you’ll be sitting next to and there was a couple people at a table across from us going a little crazy and spilling alcohol all over each other.

Good food, good show in middle aged style. Live music, belly dancers, sword fights and fire amusement next to our table while enjoying tradition local dishes.

Me and my 15 yo daugther were placed at a 8to10 seat table in one of the "smaller" cellar rooms. Around us couples from various countries but also group travelers, mainly aged between 20 and 50. We attended the Friday night evening show in off season beginning februari. attendance was good. Our cellar was fully booked with abt 60 customers. The cellar room next to us, larger with 100+ seats also full.

The team performing the evening show this night were passionate and enthusiastic in their roles.Musical support with 1 doodle, 2 drums and lots of energy, belly dancers. The star couple of the night used swords to show their skills and love for each other. As desert a fire show was served. The food is traditional and I only recommend the pork as a main dish if u are prepared for rich, fat pork knee with bones and skin (google golonko for details) Most of our table members ordering the pork probably were better off with the chicken/ duck main course.

My sister booked this as a birthday present to enjoy on our short trip to Prague.

We weren’t sure what to expect and arrived slightly early (ticket advises 15 minutes early but we were closer to 30). Looking to see if we could purchase a drink in the upstairs bar, we were advised this wasn’t necessary as entry would be available from a side entry in a few moments.

Entry was immediate although I would expect a queue would have formed closer to the advertised entry time.

The venue is AMAZING! Walking downstairs past gothic style candles with wax drips of many to have been there before, really striking!

We were seated quickly at a table laid for 7. Each place setting had a started of cold meat, cream cheese and beetroot already in situ. We were quickly offered drinks, choosing a beer and a wine. The wine was a bit rough and was not chilled so my wife also moved to beer.

The drinks were plentiful! At no point did my tankard sit empty and I just want to add, watering down beer is no easy task! Opening pressurised steel barrels to add water, resealing and re pressurising is difficult, dangerous and completely pointless in a country where you can sell a beer at the same price as a coke! My point is, the beer is not watered down and people making this accusation should do a bit of research.

The food, to be honest, was not great. The second course was vegetable broth with extra bread available on request. The 3rd course was some sort of spinach pie served with barley grains and the main we chose was Pork Knuckle. I’ve never had this before and it’s different if anything! The meat is a bit like slow cooked pulled pork but there is a lot of fat and bone and there’s lots of cutting to get access to the meat. The final course was a piece of cake. This was quite dense and not really very sweet.

The entertainment was fantastic! The venue is split into 2 areas and the entertainment is repeated in both areas so no one misses anything. There is belly dancing, sword fighting and fire blowing, really spectacular.

To summarise, this is a great 3 hour experience with great entertainment and lots of booze. The food isn’t great so if your only going here to dine, you may be disappointed but as an overall experience, I would highly recommend.

As soon as we saw this in the list of things to do in Prague, we wanted to try it. Without knowing what to expect we were both blown away by the medieval dinner.

The entertainers, from the musicians to the dancers were all excellent, there was always something going on, I personally loved the music, top class.

The overall ambience and vibe of the whole place was very medieval feeling, if not for the fact I could see my phone on the table I could have believed we were in some time traveling underground mediaeval restaurant.

We ordered the pork dinner and were both surprised at the quality of the food for the price we paid, it was very tasty, and the portions were extremely generous, along with limitless drinks.

I cannot give it enough stars, it was really that great, we came in January and if we find ourselves here again in the summer, I will not hesitate for a second visit.

Booked in the UK for my partners birthday .. was on a Sunday so £104 for 2 tickets
Queue to get in was fine, considering the place was fully booked around 200 people.
Was sat on table of 10 in the very far left hand corner which was a bit out of the way and we found we seemed to be the last for everything, food and drink .. although when things settled down the drinks kept coming and good quality beer and wine .
The people at our table were lovely , gav and Rachel from Dublin and gino and Jackie from South UK and the Netherlands made lots of conversation and were really fun.
Our waitress on the other hand really wasn't... a heavily built lady just never seemed to grasp the idea of customer relations..
Got a bit annoyed when we asked for some drinks after arriving even tho everyone else had beer and wine on their tables..
Then when serving our food she was very abrupt and down to the dessert course , when she was serving cake off a large platter , we asked for plates only to be told " no, just use your hands "
I hope it was just a bad day for her ..
The rest of the evening was really fun and the whole crowd really got into the spirit ..
The pirates, the belly dancers and fire eaters were great.
It was definitely worth the price of the tickets and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting prague..
A bit more thought of customer service please tho guys
