- Compass5159756059800Mixed feelingsReally enjoyed the experience, entertainment was fantastic.People at our table very friendly. The next day both my husband and I had severe gastrointestinal problems which spoiled how we felt about the evening.
- Terry G00Well worth the moneyWhat a fantastic experience! !!! It was very entertaining and the food was excellent it was a good night and nice to be entertained by swashbuckling and Belly Dancing and even some fire eating, although not all at the same time
- Mario S00Best dinner show in PragueThe food is plentiful! Make sure you’re hungry and thirsty! Non-stop drinks. The entertainment is second to none. We wanted to repeat the experience but it was fully booked on our last night in Prague. Great service! We laughed a lot.
- D8062LYsimonj00Great experience if you are looking for an evening of funReally great experience - While not authentic medieval the atmosphere was well worth it. Considering what you might pay for a main meal anyway in Prague it was exceptional value for money. Food was decent with the main Pork dish me and my partner had being huge and very succulent as our 4th course. Not many were able to finish it so most left full. The earlier courses were good too, particularly liked the veggie soup and bread. The dessert was the weakest course which we referred to as the "Apple Brick" and was not served on a plate which felt rushed. Would suggest they rethink this aspect of the evening. Overall the event seemed to be a well oiled machine and I would highly recommend it. Other minor gripe was the wine tasted watered down and the server did not come to our table frequently enough.
- txtraveler201000Amazing tour with Paria! Our tour guide Paria was amazing! She was extremely knowledgeable and kept our attention the entire time! The free lunch and drinks were also very good. Highly recommend this tour!
- Leaberryal00Amazing FunAmazing Fun. You are sitting next to people you don't know, but that is part of the fun. The food was delicious. There was plenty of food and drink. The staff are very quick at getting the food and drink to your tables. Staff are very friendly. The entertainment was fun. Very good atmosphere. Well worth the money to do something different.
- 241wilmac00History and sceneryOur guide Elizabeth was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Very helpful and answered all our questions. Quite a hike up to castle, stairs all the way so wear stout shoes. The scenery was amazing as was the history. Our lunch was excellent, plenty of choice. The boat trip, we felt, was very underwhelming. Twirling around on a short stretch of river learning about flood lines. The queues for this were huge, we waited half an hour to board. With hindsight we wish we’d skipped this part.
- goatnose00Not in any way authentic, but still entertainingFood was below average. Visual ambience was great. Bagpipes were super fun, but not medieval. Dancing was cheap circus-style - hilariously not medieval. Pirate sword fighting to the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack definitely not medieval. Still an entertaining evening - just know what to expect!
- DHillSurrey00Informative and great introduction to Prague and its highlightsGreat tour our guide Ross was very knowledgeable and gave us an excellent overview of Czech history and current politics. Plenty of time at the various stops and good tips about what to visit and how. Lunch very tasty would highly recommend to do in first day in Prague.
- Scenic51796300Do not miss itA fabulous tour. Ross was very knowledgable, friendly and made the tour good fun. Prague is a beautiful city and without this tour we would have missed so much.
- judith h00Medieval dinnerA recommended visit to this venue . Five course meal fabulous .Pork knuckle out of this world .Eat drink and be merry .Also the show was spectacular Well done everyone .It’s a must do it if you visit Prague .
- judith h00Prague 6 hour walking tourCongratulations to Elizabeth .A fabulous tour with an excellent guide who certainly knows everything about her country and shows her passion for it. Well worth visiting and excellent value for money.
- Q834WIpatriciah00DisappointedThe walk had the potential to be really interesting. However, the guide, Lance, was unable to engage the group in a meaningful manner that captured our interest. Also, he did not provide an agenda or timetable for the day. There was one toilet break at St Vitus Cathedral and you needed coins to be able to pay for it! Unfortunately, as a result I was unable to use it. Not very caring for the needs of the customers. All in all the day was very long. The lunch was lovely and the boat trip enjoyable.
- bonvoyageEssex00Lots of beer, Lots of wine. Basic food. This was never going to be fine dining and entertainment.Lots of beer, Lots of wine. Basic food. This was never going to be fine dining and entertainment. We did the early sitting and it was only two courses. I had the pork and it was a large knuckle of pork on the bone. The wine and beer are bottomless and the lighting is sparse so I just ate most of it without a care. Some of my friends had duck and chicken and seemed to like it. The table side entertainers were good and the overall ambience was very good. Overall a fun evening.
- SandraD73800Worth while experienceThe walking tour was amazing. We went at a pace that allowed some history and time for quick pics and onto the next area. The lunch was really good, the tram was great for getting up the hill to the castle. The boat trip was lovely. We learned a lot about Prague.

We booked the cheapest option of those on offer so I guess we deserved what we got.
Whilst we had a fun evening, and I love walking and tasting tours, having done several, this particular experience was .... just weird.
Our guide was on their first solo evening and started out saying they didn’t drink alcohol ... ever. Ok you don’t expect them to drink on the job but not an auspicious start.
The history of Czech beer and brewing was read aloud from an English language website on the phone. Interesting history.... but an impersonal and distant delivery.
And so I have no idea what beer we drank or what 3 pubs we visited nor what was special about them or their beer.
I had thought we might get tasting planks or share tastes of some different beers as I’ve done on other tours eg this is a top fermented pils, now a light bottom fermented, now a dark .... and explanations.... but instead we were just asked what we wanted and a round of drinks was brought - our friend ordered wine or cider, so no beer tasting education or appreciation was involved at all.
Dinner was a single course in a busy place - no menu, the 5 options were explained verbally once only. I have no idea what I ate but the food was fine.
We’d advised the company Fun In Prague directly by email several days ahead that one of our party couldn’t have gluten and I had received email assurance that the guide and restaurant would be informed and there wouldn’t be a problem. We also reminded the guide when we first met and I got the impression they were aware. Yet at the dinner place no one seemed to know about it and so it was initially suggested that our friend could only have potato salad (until the guide told the waiter to tell the chef how to cook some chicken without dipping it in flour). I showed the guide the email I’d received a few days earlier saying all was in hand and they seemed surprised.
There were only 3 of us, below the minimum tour number of 4, so I appreciate that the company found someone to take us rather than cancel, however it was not an experienced person, and whilst they were upfront about this and tried hard and did their best for us (which we appreciated) it was all just very .... strange.
Hopefully if this person becomes a regular guide on this tour they will find their feet and relax into the role.

Tour was cancelled due to not enough participants.
Booked through Marriott, their T+C state I need to give 72 hours notice to cancel, yet Fun in Prague only told me 5 hours before the start ...... doesn't seem fair.
Anyways, I got the refund .....just a shame I couldn't actually sample the beer and food. Who'd have thought nobody wants to go out for beers on a Friday night in Prague (!)

Our guide, April, was extremely attentive to each person in our group. She was knowledgeable and engaging. We throughly enjoyed the selected pubs and the dinner was as promised. We learned a lot, made new friends and saw Prague in a very pleasant way.

My friend and I booked this trip for our first evening in Prague hoping it would give us some knowledge of some good pubs and history of beer. Our guide (unfortunately can’t remember her name) was a complete let down.
She just walked us to 3 bars in silence, not even nice authentic pubs, and sat quietly at the table.
Not one bit of history and even when we asked what beer we were drinking she shrugged and said I don’t know!
The meal included was chosen from a picture on her phone and she didn’t know what most of the dishes contained! No vegetarian option which is poor.
Overall I wouldn’t recommend this tour based on our experience but with a different guide you may have a better time.

Two of us took this tour on our second evening in Prague. Our guide, Andrea was incredible, and she made the night a lot of fun. In addition to learning about Czech beer, and sampling three different kinds, she also weaved in stories about Czech history. The food was good, and we had no problem ordering a vegetarian option. Also, Andrea took us on a walking tour of the old part of the city, and explained the history, architecture and culture in an interesting way. Andrea is very knowledgeable and lively, and she has a wonderful sense of humor. Because of this, the evening was a lot of fun with a nice mix of culture, food and drinks!

Last night, we enjoyed a beer tasting and Czech dinner tour in Prague. Our tour guide, April, introduced us to local brews, and made the night lots of fun. It was a tour in English, but we had guests from several different countries, too. It was a great walk through the area around the Charles Bridge. We visited 3 pubs, and sampled a variety of beers. A traditional Czech dinner of goulash was also included. Wine was even available for some participants who weren't beer drinkers. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun evening in Prague!

When we met Michael he informed us we would be his only 2 patrons for the evening. What a great night we had. Michael was humorous, in site full and a pleasure to be with. The love for his country come out in our conversation, and provided a ton of information. He made the night fly by. We were thankful for such an experienced guide.

Valentino is a charming ambasador for Prague & expert in her knowledge of its various beers & iconic pubs that tourists would simply never find.
We tasted 3 different beers out of many more options & enjoyed a wholesome Czech Dinner in three diffrent pubs. This tour is for tourists interested in beer tasting & sampling a traditional Czech pub dinner rather than a boozy major pub crawl.

No, they are not the same. The starting location will be listed on the booking information. The guide picks the pub locations, and you will end at the last pub.

We have a group arriving on the 20th May,not sure how many would like to go on the tour, say 6 of us, we are staying at the Bareneck hotel, Vinohrady
Where do we meet up, ? And how do we get to the departure point ?
How many pubs and do we pay for all the Beers ? Nothing complimentary ?
And finally what does the dinner consist of ?
We are interested of course, but being a group of Seniors albeit in a Beer Appreciation Group we won't cause you any trouble, far from it
I just have to find out all the information in advance, forward planning
Thank You

would you do a group of 14 people? or would it be 10 max?

I think 14 is a lot. All the places we went to had full tables & a table saved for us. It would be like walking into any crowded bar & trying to seat 14. But maybe they make accommodations & save a bigger table. I would call & ask.

Hi, We have a group of 23 people. Is it possible to do this tour in such a big group?
maryprill

I would not think so.. it is advertised as a small group tour and you are going to bars that are crowded with other people. You could always ask and see if they have special accommodations.
