About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Stephanie L0 contributionsFantastic experience.. great guideWe had a fantastic ride through the countryside and beautiful parks around Prague. Vladi was a great guide and showed us so many areas we would have never found on our own. He was very knowledgeable and shared so many interesting stories. The e bikes were a great choice for the hilly countryside. Would highly recommend.Written October 1, 2024
- Rachael D0 contributionsGreat views and sightsCovered a ton of awesome sights on this tour. You get stunning views, see a ton of sights and lots of historical and political context. I chose a regular bike (instead of an e-bike) and it was a bit hilly - hence the awesome views! But it was definitely doable, there were plenty of breaks while the guide tells you about what you’re seeing. Definitely plan for a beer after the tour, you will have earned it!Written September 6, 2024
- skbwhunter0 contributionsDon't hesitate to book!Wonderful trip! Susanna is a fantastic, interesting and kind guide. Got an ebike but didn't need it, ride was pretty level. (I'm 58 years old, in good shape but not a cyclist.) Most of the ride was along the river and in the suburban countryside so really relaxing with beautiful scenery. Fun to see Karlstejn castle then and ride the train back to Prague. I booked online before leaving the US and relied on my tour company's info that Euros are broadly used in the Czech Republic. Bad advice, get yourself some Czech Crowns. (Euros are accepted many places but not preferred.) Susanna graciously accepted Euros as a tip anyway. This was the perfect trip for me to get to see a bit of the Czech Republic outside of Prague, without having to be up at the crack of dawn and still be able to be back at the hotel by 5:30 for meeting. Loved getting to move my body after the long flight from SF/USA. Definitely one of the best experiences of my trip, highly recommend!Written September 2, 2024
- Andytoze0 contributionsFriendly, knowledgeable and great valueAn amazing self-guided bike tour from beginning to end. Super friendly bike-hire with lots of info about route. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a day out at great value.Written August 6, 2024
- Safari643759956880 contributionsGreat Bike TourOur bike tour with Carlos was fantastic! The bikes were well maintained, Carlos was knowledgeable, fun, and understood his audience; we were lucky enough to end up with a semi-private tour as the other participants did not show up, so we were able to travel around at a faster pace. Carlos took us to the well known and not so well known spots; a wonderful way to get to know the city on our first day. Thanks so much Carlos! We highly recommend this company and tour.Written August 6, 2024
- stoberc0 contributionsRip OffRented a couple bikes for a day trip to Karlstejn. Bikes were fine but was very disappointed that this bike shop charges for navigation information, something I have never encountered at a rental shop before. Instead of providing route advice, we needed to pay 15 euros for a digital map trace to our destination. I asked if this would work offline, since we didn't opt for cell service in Czechia. We were told that it would, then the map immediately stopped working after leaving the shop. I returned immediately for assistance, and instead of offering a refund on a broken map, we were criticized for not paying for phone service. "This is the problem with Americans, they don't want to pay for anything!" Highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.Written July 30, 2024
- Amy B0 contributionsGreat tour!We thoroughly enjoyed our bike tour of Prague. We covered so much area and Richard was an excellent guide. He was a wealth of information. The bike ride itself was very easy and mostly flat and it was nice to have audio headphones so it was easy to hear everything Richard said even in crowded areas. We didn’t ride up by the castle as it says in the description of this event but we did that on our own later. It would have been a challenge to ride up to the castle on a regular bike so we weren’t disappointed by this omission. It was a wonderful and fun tour!Written July 24, 2024
- Curiosity336538133640 contributionsGreat idea: biking in Prague! We rented bikes for the self guided tour. We did not end up doing the exact tour as listed, but we went off on our own a bit. We saw some parts outside of the city center and enjoyed some great views from Letna Hill. The shop was great. They are professional and caring. They seem to care. Highly recommend.Written July 15, 2024
- B8505WRgarym0 contributionsBeautiful ride, easy and super-friendly pick-up / drop-offMy wife and I did a wonderful ride to Karlstejn on e-bikes. Beautiful green and quiet countryside. And picking up and dropping off the bikes was so quick and easy, with super-friendly staff. Very much recommended!Written July 13, 2024
- MinMcD10 contributionsFive star service and five star fun - riding with Vlad and Praha BikeOur last day in beautiful Prague and the last day of our eight week trip around the world…and we are thrilled that we got to spend it riding around beautiful Prague and out to Unetice with Vladimir and Praha Bike. Vlad was friendly, well informed and made our day extra special by ensuring he knew what our preferences were. We saw a side of Prague we could not have found on our own - five star service and five star fun. Don’t miss doing a tour with Vlad and Praha Bike.Written July 7, 2024
- Departure137816226220 contributionsCan't be any better than thisWe had an excellent experience with Praha Bike. The guys were amazing. We rented a tandem bike for a day and they taylord the right trip for us. The bike were in perfect condition and the service was with a wide smile. Thank you.Written July 4, 2024
- brucef790 contributionsPerfect place for Prague bike rentalI stumbled into these guys by accident after a Viator-arranged bike trip to Karlstejn Castle fell apart (note... Karlstejn is typically closed Mondays). I should have gone straight to the source to start with as renting from Praha Bike directly is cheaper and as or more convenient. The patient, friendly, sympathetic service is tremendous: they have lots of available options and fit you to a cycle of your choosing, their advice is absolutely solid, they set you up with a digital and paper route, and remain there for you if you need help after you've rented. (Note: I arranged for my bike in person the day before, and it was all ready to go for me first thing the next morning, but I could have had it that moment had I wanted it.) Two other tips if you go without a guide and decide not to return by train as I did: (1) it's very doable, but leave time for mistakes because the way to Karlstejn is littered with unmarked turns onto side paths as well as bridge and railroad crossings and bike-speed bumps. Not counting the side road to the castle itself, there's also one extremely steep hill to navigate (with speed bumps!) -- I wasn't riding hellbent for leather, but all told, it took me about 2.5 hours to get there and another 2.5 hours back. (2) I can't stress enough how careful you need to be riding in the city proper. The cobblestoned streets and walks are treacherous, and I crashed hard on my return trying to follow traffic instructions and get inside the tram lane after catching my wheel in the rail rut. Thanks to the Praha Bike team for the peroxide and band aids! Cobblestones and trams are infinitely better suited to pedestrians than bicyclists.Written July 4, 2024
- T2545UUsteves0 contributionsKarlstejn Castle with SuzanneAhoy! My lovely wife Linda and I went on the castle tour with Suzanne In April. Actually visited the shop another day to purchase a T Shirt, it's a wonderful old shop with none of the intimidation that you may have felt in bike shops at home. Suzanne was competent, friendly and very knowledgeable about both the route to the castle, and maybe even more important, the proper way to get through traffic and out of Prague proper. The bikes were standard rental fare, well maintained and adjusted to fit each of us. There is really no better way to see the countryside and learn a bit about your surroundings than being on a bike with someone who knows what is there and the history behind it. We enjoyed the whole experience. If you have a day to spend off the beaten track you would be hard pressed to find something more rewarding. I'll add what most don't include in their reviews: My wife and I are both 70. We ride our bikes and swim regularly at home. We found the ride mostly flat, comfortable, and relatively easy.Written June 10, 2024

We joined a bike tour around Prague. Our group was made up of various individuals on a trip through Europe. Our tour guide Nancy welcomed us with a warm and educative speech, and after a while I felt really domesticated in the beautiful city. We learnt many interesting facts about its history during the WWII, visited the Heydrich memorial, many fancy historical locations for ex.: the Jewish quarter, Lesser Quarter as well as a bit more distant location across the river called Smichov. Nancy was kind and we even had a nice short stop for buying a drink and eating some cookies on the cozy square of the Franz Kafka museum. I highly recommend this tour. Nice staff, good bikes and great tour.

We had a dutch guide, Nancy. She was fabulous. Kept things moving, gave great information and even helped with photos. Bikes were perfect for the cobblestone streets, good tire pressure and the suspension was a blessing.

What a fantastic way to spend an afternoon in Prague! Covered a lot of ground but with just the right amount of interesting stops. Our guide Carlos was a great storyteller who also had a binder with extra info and diagrams that helped illustrate some of the historical facts and figures as we went along. I was very impressed that they provided small receiver headsets in case Carlos mentioned anything while riding but primarily for directional/safety guidance. I do bike tours in a lot of the cities I travel to and this was absolutely perfect. It was myself and a couple on the tour with Carlos. I can't wait to visit again someday and try one of the longer tours!

Extra experience: the bikes were well adjusted, the seats very comfortable. The rental equipment was of good quality: helmet, anti-theft.... Carlos’ directions for the guided tour were accurate thanks to the QR code and the GPX trace for the Garmin. Both employees were very welcoming, smiling and friendly. Euro payments are accepted but only cash! Attention for the uninitiated, Praguois drivers are rather nervous, honk easily, even open the door to explain!!! Fortunately the majority of the route is on bike path!

Prague is not a very bike friendly country, so having a child doing a bike tour is not a good idea. For adults it's safe enough and very fun, but definitely not suitable for children.
