    just OK....
This was probably because it was on a crowded Saturday, but this tour was only OK for us. One reason was the absolutely crushing amount of tourists in the old town, on the tram up to the castle, & in the castle. I would not do this tour on a weekend day. Obviously, the tour operator cannot control the number of people cramming into Prague, and I imagine they are doing the best they can in a crazy situation. Another reason the tour was only OK, however, was in the owner's control -- the tour guide. Our guide had a very strong accent, so every few words or so, it was very difficult to understand her. She also really LOVED talking, so working to hear & understand her (while also dealing with crowds and heat) made the tour exhausting. Her passion was great, but the communication was difficult.

    Great experience
Relaxed tour with interesting insight into the history of Prague mainly the castle and surrounding area. Tour guide gives such a gripping overview of the beautiful buildings and surrounding area. Well worth it.

    Beautiful and worth it!
Amazing views, walking through the cobble stone streets, and experiencing the castle grounds was definitely worth doing. Our guide was upbeat, friendly and answered all our questions. Be ready to walk, and definitely need good sneakers, it was alot of constant walking, no time to rest. But a must do!

    Great trip!
My guide (forgot the name, sorry) was amazing. He was very informative and we covered a lot of ground in old town and then followed it by Charles Bridge & the castle. The tour ends at the castle which is great because then I could then go see it. I love walking tours & I definitely recommend this one.

    Not very much value added
I love Jenny H's review. It perfectly describes our experience. Luba struggled to communicate in English and talked in generalities. I was very disappointed to discover that a different ticket was necessary to use the elevator either up to or down from the tower. Fortunately my wife was having a good day and made it up and down. If you plan to be on the second floor on the hour you can see the Apostles up close (depending on how any people have the same idea). The Clock is so complex and Luba's English so difficult to understand coupled with her rapid fire delivery, I did not learn what I had hoped to about the clock. Maybe I should have opted for the Optional Audio Guide.

A highlight of our visit to Prague
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Our tour guide, Miša, was lively, warm, engaging, informative and entertaining. She brought the castle compound and it’s history to life, and clearly knows a great deal about the castle and Prague. The tour flew by! I highly recommend it!

    Walked back
Very informative tour. Beautiful view of city and inside churches. Nothing about inside castle - empty. Rooms empty. No furniture or paintings. Boring. When tour finished, told we had a one way tram ticket and had to walk back down the mountain. A mile walk back. Never do again!!

Not worth the tour guide experience
We met at the tour company office and met with our tour guide. We were handed the tickets for the tower. Then, we walked to the Old Town Hall, together as a group. Along the way, our tour guide attempted to point out things of interest and their historical significance, but was struggling with the facts. We arrived at the square a few moments before the top of the hour to get a good viewing spot. That was the end of the tour guide.after the clock rang, we headed for the tower. Honestly, the guide provided little value. Prague is a very walkable city—everything is within walking distance and easy to find. You can purchase these tickets directly, bypassing the guide.

    Vacation in Prague
We were treated to a great tour of Prague castle by a wonderful and talented man who spoke different languages and shared what he knew about Prague Castle. He made the journey through the castle go smoothly and he made us all happy and proud to be there in his presence

    Access to castle
Guide was knowledgeable. Tickets gave us access. Gide did not give good directions for avoiding long flight of stairs upon leaving. Very difficult for me.

It was nice to have a guide to navigate the trams, orient you to the castle (huge place, and learn about the history. We had Martina, who did a terrifi job and was easy to understand, Would do again.

We purchased our tickets online, went to the castle and there was no one there to redeem our tickets. We walked around for 30 minutes, and finally had to purchase brand new tickets from the ticket counter. I've asked for a refund, and have been refused, as Viator says we redeemed the tickets. What a scam!

Not to be missed, an iconic place. Somethings you can see for free, but the ticket gets you further.

We searched Trip Advisor on how to buy tickets to the Prague Castle to skip the line. We bought tickets through Trip Advisor and then discovered tickets are not required.
Within 5 minutes of making the purchase we cancelled it.

Trip Advisor charged the entire fee as a cancellation fee.

DO NOT TRUST THEIR SITE FOR PURCHASES!

I am not sure if this is about the castle or guided tour but we visited the castle ourselves and there was no need to pre reservation as there was no waiting or long queue even if we are in August and we visited on weekend

This is a waste of time. Just get your tickets at the official ticket counter. We waited longer to get our ‘skip the queue’ tickets than other people who just went straight to the official ticket sales counters. No organization. Just a lot of people jostling, trying g to get the tickets they bought that was supposed to make it quicker. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE.

The misdirecting description is the “brief intro”. There’s nothing but an overall description on how to use the map and ticket.

It would be nice if they included practical advice such as how the bathroom works (you need a token or a code), but most of all, what we were expecting was a brief introduction on the history of the place.

It was very disappointing.

15 mins late getting there, guy waited for us. Thank you. We wanted to go off and do our own thing, didn’t take the short tour with the company. Would buy from this company again. Very good experience, thank you

Easy to find blue umbrellas carried by the reps. We were split up into various languages and given an introduction by our rep on best way to travel around site to get most out of our ticket - only took about 10 minutes but was invaluable

The “introduction” to the castle was only minimally helpful. The guides basically told us how to use the tickets and provided little history. Not worth the $.
