A great tour if you want to know a little about Prague and a lot about Prague Castle.
Our very knowledgeable guide, Misha, was fantastic and told us a lot about the Prague Castle making this tour an enjoyable and fun experience.
Highly recommended.
Please dont be late because if you are late you disturb the dynamic of the group and make things very hard to guide!

Today, I was lucky enough to have a great tour guide for a 2.5 hour Prague Castle Tour. It actualy lasted closer to 3.5 hours, but no one in the group was complaining.

I've taken tours in a lot of places. Maria is a standout above the rest! Her historical knowledge was off the charts. She had a good sense of humor and she watched out for the group. Not sure if there was anything that could have been improved on to be honest.

Wow, did I just say all that?

Anyway, highly recomended!

This was a good tour. The company was very accommodating. St Vetis was closed on the day of our tour. The company went out of their way to make sure we had an admission ticket early so we could visit it on our own. There was a miscommunication regarding the ticket. It was for all four sites, which we didn’t understand. We didn’t have the ticket with us when we connected with the tour group. Not sure where the error was at ours or theirs, but we had to buy another admission ticket to enjoy the guided part of the tour. I only mention this as a lesson learned. Tour guide was good.

Dear client, thank you for the review. We really appreciate it. We are happy that you liked the tour regardless of the problems. We are very sorry for the misunderstanding. We are not exactly sure why the miscommunication happened either. I believe everything was clear from our conversation before. It is also a lesson for us and we will make sure the clients understand everything perfectly next time. Best regards, Hana from Get Prague Guide

Under other circumstances, this tour would be definitely worth taking. However, long queues firstly getting into Prague Castle and then some of the internal attractions meant that of the +/- 2.5 hours the tour took probably 75 mins was spent standing in lines. The tour guide did a good job of keeping up an illuminating commentary via a radio link while we were waiting, but eventually she ran out of words. Once inside the guide had to constantly rush us through the various churches and halls to keep to the tour schedule. At the end we were cold, fed-up of standing around and disappointed with the haste with which we were shepherded through the interesting bits.

Recommendation: do not take this tour when there are a lot of tourists in Prague, ie check out the queue length for getting into the castle before booking.

Dear client, we are very sorry that you were disappointed. However, there is nothing we can do about the queues. The security check is compulsory for everyone and Prague is a popular city among tourists especially around this time of the year. We hope you had a great time in Prague anyway. Although the castle was close and our tour guide gave us a lot of info she ended the tour in front of the castle. Then we walked in on our own and saw other tours providing a lot of info to the tourist. I believe even though the buildings doors were close we would be able to walk into the castle and provide the explanation there.

We booked the Prague Castle Walking tour including Admission Ticket in English. When we met our group at the statue of Charles IV we were told that we were the only people booked for the English speaking tour. We were given an explanation of the importance of Charles IV and we then proceeded to cross the Charles bridge. We were given an abundance of information about the importance of the bridge and the area leading up to the Lennon Wall. We then boarded a tram to take us to the prague Castle. We witnessed the changing of the guard and toured St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, st Georges Basilica and ended on Golden Lane. The views from the castle were breathtaking and the history of the area was long and fascinating. Our guide was entertaining and informative.

I would highly recommend this tour! I vacationed in Prague for a week and booked a tour the afternoon of April 15th. My guide, Martina, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was comprehensive and educational. She introduced me to things about the city I didn't know prior to my visit. I enjoyed my stay and am looking forward to a return visit!

We had booked transfers from the Airport to our hotel and then relised that the price which was very good also included a walking tour (4 hours) of Prague. You have to make you own way to the Old Town square where you meet the guides "look for the red Umbrella saying free tour" Our guide then took us to places we had missed the previous day when walking by ourself. There's lots to see and information to absorb. We had a lunch break after a coulpe of hours then cracked on with the rest of the tour, now heading out over Charles Bridge and onto the Castle. The tour end's at the Castle so from there you will make your own way back to your Hotel. Well worth doing we enjoye dlistening to somone from the city telling about its history.

Prague Castle has an amazing history, and it’s so much better to visit places like this with a tour guide..... than to try and navigate everything alone. With a tour guide, we could have fun conversation and never get lost! Look at beautiful things and understand their story. Bypass long lines waiting for tickets.......Get great advice about what to do later that day!!
