Very friendly guide Sarah.
Church closed because of a wedding. The organisation did not know this. Do they even prepare their tours?
So, 2 x 1 hour in the bus to visit 1 small bone church during max. 30 minutes.
Waste of money.

It is overpriced.
The ossuary isn’t anything amazing.
The town itself is just boring.
You can spare those 60€ for something else.

The bone church was certainly unique, it is quite small so it does not take long to visit. The other churches we went too were also stunning and we learned lots of interesting facts from our tour guide.

Our tour guide, Phillip, was great fun and knowledgeable. Travelling by different trains and buses was more tiring than by minibus but was definitely more rewarding. The Ossary was very different from others I have seen and was amazing. A definite must see.

Great tour. Lots of things to see and worth the trip. You are not allowed to take pics at the Sedlec Ossuary bone Church, but of course everyone does. It is disingenuous for them to say no pics because its "disrespectful" but they have the pics on their IG and dont seem to have a problem charging for entry. So, take the pics. :)
St. Barbara's was gorgeous as well.

It was worth the tour just to have someone help taking the train from Prague to Kutna Hora.. The train system in Czech is a bit daunting for first-timers… Otherwise it would’ve been better if the tour guide just took us from place to place and let us explore on our own. For example I think too much time was spent in that big church (not the bone church), and I’ve would’ve instead rather just explored Kutna Hora on my own.
Also, to our tour guide, food was an after thought. We should’ve been offered the chance to get a meal right when we arrived in Kutna Hora. Instead we became very hungry and only had a little time to find food at the end of the tour just before we had to catch the train back to Prague.
If you need someone help you buy train tickets and get you to and from Kutna Hora, *maybe* take this tour… Otherwise just figure it out yourself, and you can prob have a better time exploring on your own terms.

I almost feel like we didn't get the right tour, but I know we did... There was virtually no structure at all to this day. We started in Old Towne and got some fun facts, the guide was honestly lovely, but then the day took a dive. We got virtually no time to explore the Bone Church, but yet St Barbara's Church left everyone in the group bored and leaving to get home on their own, hungry for a promised lunch that never materialized, or sitting in the pews wondering if we had been left behind. It was such a strange day. We definitely felt like we could have done better on our own. There were obviously some cool sites to go explore but unfortunately we felt like we missed most of them.

This was one of the best days in our holiday! Kutna Hora is a must see: its morbid and unique beauty is incredible. This tour was well paced, and our guide Ilya was absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Prague.

This tour really was a bones and all level of detail!
Organised well from the start, our guide took us to a few places on Prague first to give us some context to the history and relationship with Kutna Hora.
From there we had a train ride over to the city, where we had chance to see more of the beautiful Czech scenery. We ordered our food for lunch on the train to avoid any delays at the restaurant (food not included in price, but worth it!).
When at Kutna Hora, we saw the truly awe-inspiring bone chapel, which really has to be seen to really grasp it.
Our guide was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and funny - everything you need to feel relaxed and involved in learning about this fascinating place.
The tour was so worth doing and really added something extra to our trip.

Take the trip. Explore this site, but also see the rest of this lovely town. The Bone Church was met with some mixed emotions. It is interesting. I do find it odd that they insist on no photography, and so I did it out of respect for the what it stands for, only to discover the cards, and the T-shirts, and books on sale at the store. hmm. I enjoyed it because it coincided with Halloween.

The tour operators in Prague are quite professional and if you have booked in advance for your selected date, you should be ok. We went on a day trip to Karlovy Vary and my husband and I were the only tourists. They still took us and did everything they were supposed to do.

The day we went on this tour, there had been a disruption in train service, word was a tree fell on train track and things would be delayed so our tour guide arranged for all of us to transfer on another route/station and I am quite certain we still made it back within 10 mins of our original schedule. Definitely around 5pm. Always an adventure and so glad to have had our guide with us to figure out best way to get us back in time.
