Met Eszter at 1700 at the main square & we were given a fantastic tour of the old town, covering topics such as the local noble families who built & occupied the castle, a brief history of the city itself, and the local landmarks. Eszter is an awesome guide, knowledgeable & funny, so a genuinely entertaining woman. We try to book yours the day we arrive to get our bearings & this really helped us out. Money & time well spent!!

Eszter was kind enough to add a time to accomodate an evening tour for us. We were able to see and hear about the history of the Castle before strolling through the streets and experiencing the charm and ambiance as the sun went down. We arrived at the perfect overlook just minutes before the exterior lighting on the Castle turned on for the evening. She gave us fantastic meal recommendations and a special gift to remember Chesky Krumlov. We enjoyed and recommend her tour.

Extremely knowledgeable guide for the town and good overview of the regional history. Eszzter was able to focus the tour on our particular interests in architecture. Her English is quite good and broad enough to provide some more nuanced descriptions. Her Sorbonne training shows. I would highly recommend spending an hour with her to get a deeper knowledge of how this town developed.

We thoroughly enjoyed the guided walk through Cesky Krumlov with Eszter. She is very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the area, so the tour gave us good context for understanding other aspects of our 2days in CK. Eszter was very flexible and relaxed so we felt comfortable to ask questions. Eszter Sarody is an excellent English-speaking guide - friendly and informative, willing to walk at your pace! A local lady with 'secret knowledge' of some of the interesting nooks and crannies around Cesky Krumlov. We organised an hour with hotel pick-up, adding a little extra at the end. We did not have ideal weather, but this was a great way to familiarise ourselves with this small and charming small town. Thank-you Eszter. MAKE SURE TO DOWNLOAD THE VIATOR APP - it's the only way to pick-up the e-Voucher and obtain Eszter's contact details and arrange a time (I wasted 2 hours trying to find it and obtain support on the TripAdvisor site in April 2017 - lazy TripAdvisor programing!). It is nearly as difficult to enter a review - the VIATOR App has no 'memory' of the trips you've completed (the App and web developers need a good kick up the pants)!

We really enjoyed our 3hr walking tour of Cesky Krumlov. Eszter is a wonderful guide and her English is perfect. We learnt so much about the history and area of Cesky Krumlov, which we would not have discovered walking around on our own. We would highly recommended Eszter as your guide.

Eszter is a very friendly tour guide who spoke the English language quite well. We booked her one day in advance, and was flexible with respect to the meeting point and time. She took her time to lead us around Cesky Krumlov and provided us with some interesting background stories about the town and the region. Price/quality is excellent, and I would definitely recommend this tour to others!

We pre-booked Eszter for a half day tour of Cesky Krumlov. Even in September this architectural masterpiece is still exceedingly popular with tourists. Many come out from the capital just for the day or are simply stopping off between Austria and Prague, thus making the place somewhat overcrowded and frenetic during the day time. Therefore we greatly appreciated Eszter’s more civilised approach allowing us to explore this historic gem at a measured pace. Along with the historical information, local insights and observations it was a pleasure to meet someone who had immersed herself in the community for some time (Eszter is actually Hungarian!). Our tour took in not only the old town and Latran areas but also the suburb of Plesivic, although the latter’s only real site of significance is the Egan Schiele’s house. What really added to our experience was Eszter’s unsought assistance with acquiring tickets for the castle tour (which can be a hassle, given the queues and the fact that prior reservations by individuals is not permitted!) and also making a dinner reservation for us. We simply mentioned these ideas in conversation and she immediately offered her much appreciated help. The tickets and reservations were secured within a few hours.

We hugely enjoyed our time with Eszter. Cesky Krumlov is both fascinating and charming. Ezster brought it to life with her insights into the history and culture of the town and its people. We spent more than two hours with her and could easily have gone on longer. Both of us felt she provided us with a far deeper understanding of the town, its geographic significance and its history. Eszter is smart, articulate, energetic and knowledgeable. As such she is a wonderful guide and the opportunity to tour with her should not be missed.
