About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- TownsendTravels0 contributionsHighlight of our trip! Custom private tour with professional local guide! We took a delightful half day, private, cultural tour with Alfredo, who was very experienced, knowledgeable, professional, and quite personable – a great combination for our needs. The half day tour covered the gorgeous “white village “of Ronda and provided various stops in the charming town of nearby Benalauria. Its difficult to describe how much we enjoyed the visit to a traditional winery for both a wine tasting and delicious lunch incorporating local ingredients, a visit to a five-generation bakery which supplies the various surrounding villages (we even tried our hand at making bread), and a stop at an old olive oil production site. Ronda was lovely, despite the rain and torrential downpour that afternoon. Alfredo customized our tour itinerary around our preferences and energy level, and even the weather. (Who knew that it could rain that hard in Spain??) In all, this tour with Alfredo was the highlight of our weeklong trip in the area. Highly recommended. Don’t miss it.Written October 24, 2023

- W7297ATdavide0 contributionsRonda with AlfredoAlfredo was a really wonderful guide. Touring Ronda with him far exceeded our expectations. He went out of his way to show us a the area and arranged a great zip line experience. Highly recommended!Written September 24, 2021
- Lorihu0 contributionsPrompt professional serviceI had booked a private tour with transportation between two cities in Spain. Due to the coronavirus, I was unable to go on this tour. Alfredo refunded my deposit even though that wasn’t part of the original contract. He answer all my questions promptly and professionally before and after my cancellation. I do plan on using his services in the future.Written March 15, 2020
- Wendy M0 contributionsThe perfect guide to see the White Hilltop VillagesMy husband and I just knew our experience with Alfredo was going to be fantastic--and it turned out even better than expected. How do you get around to see the serenely beautiful White Hilltop Villages in Andalusia without a car? You find a terrific guide and take a tour. Alfredo was a total delight, pointing out the best places for taking photographs, and throwing in unplanned, spontaneous stops just for the joy of it. We began on his home turf in Ronda. His love for this charming town was abundant. I only wish we'd had enough time to let him show us around there. He did take us to a newly renovated hostel at the base of Ronda's famous "new" (completed in 1793) bridge for a morning cup of coffee. Then it was off to a circuit of four villages. Alfredo extended his standard tour by two hours to accommodate our desire to see one more village than is on his standard itinerary. We also stopped in the middle of a cork tree forest where he educated us about how the bark is harvested and transformed into cork products. Fascinating. And lunch at his favorite restaurant in Zahara de la Frontera was exquisite. If you want to fully appreciate this part of the world, then there's no one better than Alfredo to make it happen. This guy is a treasure. The day we spent with him was, without a doubt, the most relaxed and enjoyable day of our whirlwind 28-day vacation in Spain and Portugal.Written June 7, 2019
- LeLeandRobin0 contributionsAlfredo provided the perfect day in Ronda!!Our day with Alfredo in Ronda was one of the highlights of our time in Spain!!! That it was a rainy day in no way impacted the beauty of his home town, the magic of the gorge, the people and the local food. Alfredo picked us up in Seville right on time, and spent his day showing us his home town of Ronda. He was an attentive gentleman, always lending that supportive elbow to Robin. Thanks to his good help, we enjoyed a fun day with no incidents or falls! We loved the tour he gave us, the gorge, the bull ring (and thank you for your gentle explanations of how the bulls lived and died), the town, the vineyard and the wonderful homemade lunch at the bodega Garcia! The entire day, from our pick up, to his delivery of us at the end of the day, was one to remember always.Written April 12, 2019

- amilia620 contributionsThe perfect day! Ronda and winery with AlfredoWe were three couples who spent the most wonderful day visiting Ronda and one winery. We were picked up by our guide Alfredo Carrasco who was attentive, professional and enthusiastic the whole 9 hrs we spent together. We enjoyed wonderful views in Ronda and three good and interesting wines of the García Hidalgo bodega. We also had a tapas-lunch there. I warmly recommend Alfredo for exploring the area!Written February 12, 2019
- Randy R0 contributionsGreat Ronda tourWe spent an excellent afternoon of sightseeing on a walking tour with Claudia. She was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the sights as well as being fun and funny. She spoke excellent English and helped us further by recommending restaurants and other places to visit while we were there.Written October 26, 2018
- Barb p0 contributionsA wonderful day with AlfredoWe were 3 couples visiting Malaga. Alfredo picked us up in Malaga, gave a running commentary on our drive to Ronda. His tour of Ronda was very interesting and gave us a good overview of the area history and current situation. At short notice he arranged a tour of the Pileto caves and a ride back to Malaga for us. He was very personable, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Ronda. He has our highest recommendation.Written October 22, 2018
- Romfra280 contributionsPerfect way to discover RondaMy wife daughter and I took this walking tour of Ronda with a wonderful young lady guide. She was quite informed of the place and gave good explanations. (Forgot to write down her name - August 1 at 16h30) We got to see all the main sites and the bull fight arena. The city is absolutely charming and would recommend it if you’re in Costa del Sol.Written August 2, 2018
- Rosanne D0 contributionsThe views and monuments were breathtakingWhile we thoroughly enjoyed the sights - and it was a perfect day - the guide's English was not great so we didn't get a history of what we were seeing; yes she spoke some English but if you asked a question, you didn't get a correct answer. Everyone on the tour spoke English so they should have given us an English speaking guide.Written July 4, 2018
- F5455IZdavidf0 contributionsAlfredo Carrasco es Lo Primero!!My family of 5 and i enjoyed our day with Alfredo. He drove us from seville in the La Cathedral area (we met at a local hotel). The day was relaxing and Alfredo, a native of Rondo, made our trip informative and relaxing. We were able to move at our own pace and really enjoy not only the beautiful landscape and shops but extraordinary food at "la Quinta" in Ronda. Do not go there unless you want a true feeling of the local flavor and food. An exceptional experience. My wife and i plan to come back !Written July 3, 2018

Along with the stunning view, Ronda has a lot to see, including an impressive bullfighting ring, old Arab public baths, and a beautiful mountain town.

I first met Alfredo a few years when I was doing a solo tour of the region. Upon my return this past week, we reconnected and he shared his passion of the area with me and another family member.
We made a plan to see some of Ronda in the morning and then we visited a few of the villages upon his recommendation. It was a fabulous day to see the towns and their different characteristics.
The scenery is terrific and we were lucky to have sun with comfortable cool temps.
Alfredo is very accommodating and will customize based on your needs and desires of what might interest you.
Obviously, if I returned to Ronda and rehired my guide, that is the best recommendation I could give.
I appreciate his passion, local knowledge, sense of humor, professionalism, good communication and overall customer service.
In summary, visit the area..and I highly recommend Alfredo!

We had the great fortune of spending a day earlier this month with Alfredo Carrasco. Alfredo picked us up near our hotel in Granada and took us to Sevilla by way of the Ronda, Grazelema, and the beautiful mountains. A proud, lifetime resident of Ronda, Alfredo was a charming and informative guide with a great ability to convey the history, architectural highlights, and natural beauty of the entire area. This day with him was a highlight of our visit to Spain.
