Great, country with fantástic food, kind people. In a few words, an unforgettable place
The experience was amazing. Perú has unique mountains, great food and some moments that I will never forget. I remember all the places I visited and they live in my heart now.

      Domes in Humantay
On the positive the place looks spectacular, the domes are comfortable and the views are amazing. The alpaca therapy is a wonderful experience , they are such peaceful creatures that transmit positive energy. The food was great and so much!!! The best our guide Gonzalo Bejarano he made our trip ver special, he took care of every detail so we would be comfortable and safe!! He made our trek to the Humantay lake a safe one explaining the difficulties but it would be worth it! He also took pictures of us.... he is a wonderful person who talked like an old friend. The only negative would be that we had to put wood in the chimney in the domes but we couldn't feel warm. when we fell asleep the fire went out and it was freezing cold. And at 9 pm the power goes out. They need to better there heating system because you're not going to pay to freeze in such cold weather. Again thanks to our guide who was always taking such great care of us.... Gonzalo you're THE BEST!!!!!

      The Perfect Agency In Perou!
Really amazing agency in Perou! We were 6 and took 3 major tours with them. Everything was perfect from pick up, guides, onsite lodges/hotels, meals, prices, transportation. The prices were logic as everything was included. The guides are really professional, friendly and english educated! I highly recommend this agency for any visits in Perou.

      Feel the Quechua vibe
All the tours we booked were amazingly organized. From the guides that are truly local people (Quechua people) with plenty of valuable explanation and life stories from their ancestor to the drivers. We truly recommend it as it was a flawless experience !

      SCAM. AVOID
Scam. Avoid them at all costs. We booked a tour with them and then they cancelled on us. Kept our funds and then claim they refunded us. They did no such thing. Horrible company.

      Great hike but terrifying driver
We did the 1 day hike up Humantay Lake with Bioandean Expeditions. Overall, we were pleased with the hike itself (be warned: it's pretty difficult due to the high elevation (14,000 feet) despite the short climbing time). We found the food (breakfast and lunch are provided) to be somewhat below-average compared to other restaurants in Peru but our main gripe was with the driver. He drove unbelievably recklessly, even for Peruvian standards, in the city and on mountain roads. We were nearly falling out of our seats the entire trip (over 3 hours in the bus) and I had a raging headache and back pain by the end. We were terrified the entire time. I'd still recommend the experience, but you are better off choosing a more reputable company.

      Salkantay 5D/4N trek
Together with two friends I booked the Salkantay 5D/4N trek through BioAndean expeditions. All in all we've had a great experience. The explanation provided to us in advance was very clear. They've also helped us beyond the basic booking of the Salkantay trek. We wanted to climb Huayna Picchu as well and stay in Machu Picchu all day (the regular tour would leave for the bus at 11am), so they explained the different options to us and in the end booked Huayna Picchu and an evening train for us. On the day that we left there was some confusion though. Apparently not enough people booked with BioAndean so they grouped us with people who booked through Machu Picchu reservations. This was fine, but it would've been nice to know in advance. Now there was some confusion in the morning as to whether we were in the right place. The people who booked with the other company were told a different, later meeting time so we had been waiting from 4:30 to 5:15 before we were finally picked up. Also, they had told us we would receive our sleeping bags the morning of the trek, but since we were now brought to the office of MP reservations we didn't have them. Luckily, our guide Steven in the end got them for us, but it was a bit of a stressful start this way. Finally, on the fourth day apparently the people who booked with MP reservations could choose to do an extra hike that was not part of our booking. While they chose not to do it, for us it felt weird that we didn't even get this choice. Such differences between companies should be communicated better, especially if you group people from different companies together. Even if the extra hike cost more, we might have been willing to pay that money anyway, so in the future we'd advise you to please include everyone in these decisions. Apart from those differences between the two companies we've had an amazing experience though! Apart from the trek being absolutely gorgeous, we felt incredibly lucky with our guide, Steven, who was not only very knowledgeable but also went out of his way to make us feel like a family. He really made sure everyone felt comfortable and he made the whole experience extremely pleasant. In addition, the cooks were amazing! They made so much food and it all tasted amazing. I'm a vegetarian myself and for every meal they prepared a tasty vegetarian alternative to the meat they would serve to the others. All in all it was a very good experience!

      Excellent trek!!!
I much preferred this trek to the inca trail. The landscape is more dramatic and the trek has more variety, although it lack additional sites to visit enroute. The trek is challenging. I did the five day trek with Bioandean Expeditions and I reccommend the five day overvthe four day trek as this leaves little time to fully visit te site. This trek was well organised with a guide, a cook and horsemen. There were three people in the group. The food was excellent up restaurant level meals using a two ring gas hob. The guide Marcos was also excellent, taking great care of the group and explaining about the plants, landscape and of course the site. This trek is not as popular as others and so you do not meet many other groups and the other groups also tended to be small. Highly recommended.

      4N/3D Inka Jungle Trek
This trek was overall a really good experience. The price was very good for what we got. Biking awesome! Rafting very fun! And the zipline aslo good. ONLY THING was the final night in aguas caliente before the machu picchu tour. I felt that it was advertised as being a nicer hotel. One other thing was the guide did not take us through the citadel in the Machu Picchu city. This would have also been a nice touch.

A dream come true for my family
we saved 2 years to make this dream come true ,we have just finished this trek and we were so lucky with the weather and of course as my family says all the time is just the positive mental actitude you have that make dreams come true. any way we have a fantastic time at the inca trail thanks to Hugo our guide , Marco our cook and , pedro, tito, leucadio, and beltran who were our porters during this trek and a special thanks to Bioiandean expeditions for providing us a private tour to the Inca Trail. we chose them thanks to Maurice our friend from Rio who did this trek before with them and it was exactly as he described full of beautiful lanscape and great incan Heritage I know that a private tour cost more money but it worth it every penny we spent for this trek machupicchu is a place that everybody need to visit before you die so we higly recommend this trail to everyone and of course if you want a real expedrience contract the service of Hugo as you guide and amancio as you cook they do deserve more than a big hug for all the great adventure they made us passed feeling very happy and as our guide hugo said safety first.

ManuPark Expeditions 7 days 6 nights
It was four of us in this expedition. We contracted a Manu Park expedition for 7 days starting from Cuzco for 1300USD each (all transports and food included). We met our guide the day before we left, Saulo, who was an excellent and very expert guy from the area where we are going. Saulo was very instructive, a calm person and very respectful and educated. The trip overall was excellent. We had a great time it was very exciting, we saw a lot of animals (snakes, tamir, etc) and specially birds. The only thing we were not lucky was that we did no see the Jaguar. It's worth taking the time to go up to the Reserved part, otherwise you miss many of the most preserved part. We had three lodges, the best ones were in the reserve zone and the first one. The second one was very basic, with no mirror in the room, no plug, and could be cleaner. (sorry I forgot the name of the lodges). The rest of crew was exellent Santi, a good cook, Gustavo and Rene (the boat crew) very good as well and a very experienced driver. We loved the trip and we would definetly recomend it.

      Salkantay trek 5D/4N with Llactapata
I must admit I was a little incredulous after checking some of the reviews from last months, but this trek was absolutely top-notch. First of all, bioandean organize this trek with a detour to Llactapata (day 4), which happened to be my favourite day of all, because it was really calm and views were superb, including those of Machu picchu. Communication was very good and nothing happened differently than planned, which I really appreciated. The guides were giving us good information and were reasonably knowledgable. I enjoyed the relative freedom-we could go in our pace without any need of stopping every ten minutes, yet the guides were always around. We were offered an upgrade to a dome on one of the nights for free and the tents we slept in the other nights were top quality. Food was excellent with a professional cook throughout, who prepared very varied and tasty meals and-incredibly-took his time to make little animal figures from different kinds of fruits and vegetables. Last day in Machu picchu was well organized and there was enough time to visit extended parts of the complex. It makes more sense to book at the agency itself, because the more common trips run almost daily and prices are friendlier than online.

We had initially booked the hike in Mar'20 but the trip got canceled due to covid. The operator kept our deposit and said we can use it at a later time.
We planned a visit in Oct'22 and booked the lares trek with the operator. As soon as I mentioned that I had a deposit from a previous reservation that I wanted to use, he jacked up the prices by the same amount as our deposit

Two of us did the "Salkantay Dome to Dome to Machupicchu By Train 4D/3N" and had an excellent experience! Our guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The domes were clean, the food was tasty, and the overall trek went smoothly. We also really liked being part of a smaller group (5 people total). Definitely recommend!

The entire tour was “fulfilled”, however the last minute itinerary change, the fact that the needs for each attraction such as an individual suitcase are not specified since they do not mention that your complete suitcase will not go with you the entire trip, among other issues . The redeeming feature of this agency is the guide Brayan Acuña, he always looked after us and served us extremely well. It has clear and precise information so that tourists understand Peruvian culture.

Guide Gonzalo Bejarano incredible, attentive, friendly, even resolved situations that did not compete and that we noticed, for which we are infinitely grateful, the Chef's accompaniment on the trip was great and his attentions too. The views are unmatched I recommend them. Accommodation at a specific point (Chullay) can be much improved. Poor agency service.

Unbelievable. Maravilloso. I'm delighted with the agency service. They were always aware of all my doubts and resolved instantly. I did several tours and all with the Brayan Guide, he is exceptional in his work, always kept an eye on everyone, explained every detail, knows a lot about all the places, is friendly and good vibes. I would definitely choose your service again.

The trip was amazing. Especially thanks to our amazing guide Fidel, who showed us many interesting things and told us may facts about the Peruvian culture and nature. Also his team was great. Especially the food was everyday superb and different (and we got more than enough to fill our hungry bellies). Every day was filled with different and interesting activities - some of them we would not have experienced without Fidel. Second day was quite challenging but the view and the nature made more than up for it. We would totally recommend it.
