Ever guided us in Salinas de Maras, Ollantaytambo, the farmers, one day trek to Machu Picchu and he has been great! Sharing a lot of information and letting us live the moment to create memories! He is super organized so we only had to show up!
The drivers always has clean buses! No complaints!
Amazing and knowledgeable guides for our lifetime trip in Peru.
All the visits of our vacation were taken care of by LimaTours. For the duration of our trip, we felt safe and in good hands. All our guides were professional, on time, organized and most of all very knowledgeable. In Lima, Katy gave us a great city tour. The next day, she accompanied us to the airport and helped us check in for our flight to Arequipa. Our very favorite guide of all, Henry V., was going to be with our group for the next two days from Arequipa to Puno. The transfer from the airport to the hotel in Arequipa was efficient and informative. We learned so much about Peru from Henry; and that opinion was unanimous among our group of twelve. Our safe driver, Julianos, stopped for visits, purchases and pictures as requested. We were sad to leave them in Puno after seeing such beautiful sites, excellent restaurants with buffets, and of course, all that new cultural understanding of Peru. In Puno, Jose used various maps and pictures to share his information about the Urus people, lake Titicaca and Taquile island. Our next day was less positive from Puno to Cuzco. It has nothing to do with LimaTours since we were on a VIP bus from a different company. Our guide barely spoke English all day. He favored speaking Spanish since there were several European travelors on our bus. After a free day on our own in Cuzco, we were glad to be with the Dream Team, our guide Patrick and Juan Carlos, our amazing bus driver (navigating through traffic in Cuzco can be quite a challenge). Once again, lots to learn and places to visit in the Sacred Valley and Ollantaytambo. In Machu Picchu, Marco E. guided us, explained and showed us, using visuals as well, a very detailed and comprehensive picture of this beautiful site, Machu Picchu. He even took pictures of our group and helped us in having our passports stamped. In conclusion, I highly recommend LimaTours for your vacation in Peru.

Very nice trip
Very nice trip. We only had one day in Lima. With this trip you see a lot in a very short time. Kaiser was a very nice and enthousiastic guide.

Superb! Only way to do Peru
We were blessed to have chosen Lima Tours from the recommendation of my travel advisor to use this company
The trip has been absolutely worry free
I have never experienced kinder and relatable tour guides
All of the tour guides provided so much knowledge
Marcos was our tour guide for macchu picchu and he got the best pictures for us (I will share some of his signature photos below) Marcos also came with so much knowledge he shared history with old photographs of macchu picchu - he shared with us the story of his family and upbringing that we were just amazed by
Our favorite tour guide was a person I can easily call my friend now - Jorge aka Cocoa
- our new friend was with us the majority of the trip when we were in the sacred valley and Cusco
He toured us through Ollantaytambo, Cusco, Moray and the scared valley we shared three lunches with him and he was incredible with all waitstaff on my behalf because I am lactose intolerant and gluten free (you can imagine how scary sometimes it feels for a person with serious IBS ordering in a different country ) kudos for that
Jorge shared with us his story and life and we enjoyed all of his knowledge about the sites we saw - but more than that - it was fun just talking with him - we had some philosophic discussions - we compared current events in the states to what the current events and passionate topics Peruvians and the locals care about
More than that we had lots of laughs
A huge shout out to all of our drivers - Santos you kept us safe and the Bull drove us through the sacred valley with what looked like ease!
I am so pleased - we are greatful and indebted - until next time !

Legendary Inca trail
Excellent company. Everything was perfectly organized. Our guide was outstanding and everything went as planned. Based on what we saw during the trail better than other companies. Highly recommended,
Outstanding private tour
Our group of six received outstanding service from all the guides with Lima tours. Our guides went above and beyond anything we expected to ensure we had exactly the trip we had dreamed of. We would like to send a big thank you to all of them:
Percy in Lima
Ivan - 2 days in Cusco
Antonieta - day 1 Machu Picchu
Roger - day 2 Machu Picchu
Michael - 2 full days Sacred Valley
US travel company booked us with Lima Tours and it was great
My family and I booked a trip with an American travel agency, Adventure Life. They made all of our arrangements with what seemed like Lima Tours in July/Aug 2019. This trip was incredible and so much better than I was expecting. We were travelling with two 60+ year old women and most of our group didn't speak a word of Spanish. Every driver and guide took really good care of us, we were taken through airports, we never had to rush, and we weren't stressed until we arrived back to LAX and were on our own again! Really though, the best part of our tour was the 5 days in the Cuzco, Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu areas. Our tour guide Grecia Rozas and our driver made a huge impression on us. Grecia was so patient and kind to us. She was working looong days on our tour and during Peruvian National holidays and didn't let it show. The older people in our group didn't speak a word of Spanish, and also struggle with thick accents. Grecia is an excellent communicator. Frankly, she must have taken Zen Buddhism or other mindfulness courses bc she answered questions that were repeated and a bit of an obtuse American deluge that would have driven me up the wall! My mother fell at a train station and hit her head, my sister and I were a little frantic and Grecia stepped right in and helped us get her a wheelchair and ice, and arranged for a doctor to meet us at our hotel. The archaeology was well explained and fascinating, the scenery was gorgeous everyday, and the food was honestly a reason by itself to go back. I have been to Peru 3 times now and this trip with Lima Tours was the best.
Service beyond expectations
A service beyond belief. First of all, they were very helpful and flexible when my dad was no longer able to accompany me on the trip because of severe health problems. Second, the trip itself was so well organized, guides were punctual, helpful, fun, friendly, and everything ran smoothly. Finally, when there was a small hiccup, they went beyond what one expects to make up for it. Really and truly an amazing experience and highly recommend using them.
Perfect Private Tour in Peru with Lima Tours
My wife and I took an excellent 6 Day Peru trip organized by Lima Tour. It was a private, hassle-free and enjoyable experience. Everywhere we went, we were met with and accompanied by an guide, along with a car and driver. All the hotels were superior. Even when we requested last minute changes, Lima Tours made the require arrangements.
I can't find enough word to express my appreciation for the great work they did.
Most Fantastic 4 day hike on the Inka trail to Machu Picchu
So I did it. My first hike and it was the biggest!
June 18th, after 4 days of a grueling, beautifully scenic, terrifying, amazing, spiritual, freezing/hot hike our small group arrived.
First stop, the Sun Gate which over looks Machu Picchu.
1.5 hours later on a 3 foot wide rock path with a sheer drop off (many panic attacks). My group and I arrived at Machu Picchu.
I had the most amazing adventure!
Hardest, scariest thing I have ever done.
Most rewarding and awesome thing I have ever done.
Jeiko with Limatours was fantastic! He was very encouraging and stood back far enough to let me do this but was there if I needed him. I did at 1 point need his support. It got dark before we arrived at camp. He held my arm for support on a very dark and uneven path but continued to allow me to do this. The porters even came back to meet us with headlamps so we could see the trail. I cannot say enough about the porters. They are superheroes in my mind. They ran past me (carrying tons of gear) and each of them whispered Vamanos (let’s go) to me as they passed. I thought it was super sweet! Very encouraging.
To put a little perspective on this. I am not a skinny lady and am 50 this year. I did this on my own. I have never been to Peru or anywhere solo. I have never been physically fit. I started working out a year ago in order to do this trip. I could have used more training....much more climbing up AND down exercises. I did it!
Believe it or not, I want to do it again.
Thank you so much for such a fantastic experience Limatours! You took care of every detail and it was perfect. I hardly had to even do anything except hike.
What you buy through Trip Advisor is not what you get with Lima Tours, the flight was good
We ordered the tickets through TripAdvisor, feeling confident it was legit. We scheduled a noon flight on the 4th. On the 3rd we got calls from Samantha and tour guide Brady. They said being able to select a time for the flight was "referential only". That we needed to be ready for pick up at 8:15am on the 4th. As a transplant recipient I have a regime of pills, a wait time and eating and said that was why we had scheduled the noon flight so that would not be disrupted. No bending. I truly think our hotel had six people to go and they just decided to make it a single shot. Weather was beautiful all day, no "high winds" advisory they said "may" take place. So customer service was critically lacking and my confidence in booking another TripAdvisor tour diminished. The flight, exactly 30 minutes from plane loading to touch down left three of the six with bags filling through the flight. The 1st officer and "guide" could not be understood in English and we missed the compass altogether. We enjoyed the steep banking. Mixed bag. The flight was with Aerodiana.
The Best Trip of My Life
What can I say about Lima Tours!? They were the friendliest and easiest company to travel with that I’ve ever experienced. The tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The transport was perfect. The accommodations, restaurant recommendations, and the friendly atmosphere they provided made our trip something we will remember for the rest of our lives. We simply love Lima Tours! I already want to plan a trip back and take more of their tours available. If you’re looking for a beautiful overview of Peruvian culture, and you want to see the top sites in Peru, this tour company will give you an top-tier experience you will never forget!

Pampa Galeras Reserve
We stopped off here as part of our Peru tour. It was a great opportunity to get up close to Vicuna, the national animal of Peru. For a long time, the hunting of Vicuna was unrestricted and the numbers decreased rapidly. Between 1964-68 this nature reserve has been created and Vicuna hunting was made illegal. The Vicuna numbers have now rapidly increased although they still are at risk from poachers. Vicuna wool is the most expensive in the world, mainly because it can only be collected once every three years; it is extremely soft. It was lovely to see them in a natural habitat .
5D tour of Manchu Picchu, Sacred Valley & Cusco
Went on a 5 day tour with LimaTours to Manchu Picchu. They were well organized despite the many logistics aspects that are involved, like the Manchu Picchu admission tickets, bus tickets and the Vistadome train tickets. Enjoyed the Inkaterra Hacienda hotel in Urubamba, its a great property. Martin our guides for Sacred Valley and Cusco was very learned and experienced guide, he was also attentive to our needs. Alicia, our guide for Manchu Picchu was also great, she took great pains to show us where to go on our re-entry to Manchu Picchu the following morning.
It was a good tour and LimaTours more than delivered their part. Would not hesitate to recommend this agency.
Exceptional service by Limatours
We did a 7 night tour of Peru with limatours and were more than satisfied with the service we received. The guides and transport were always on time at our hotels and even if they were running late would call ahead to keep us informed. The guides were very knowledgeable of all the sites we visited and even updated us on places we passed along the way. Even with our internal flight and arrival and departure, there was someone waiting for us making sure we were comfortable. Everything during our trip was very well arranged which made our trip not only enjoyable but exceptional. A big thank you to all the staff and the company for your exceptional and professional service. Our next trip to Peru will definitely be with Limatours.
