Best Experience of Our 3-Week Italian Adventure
The perfect Perugian style cooking class, period! Raffaella, and her “Sprinkle With Flower” Perugian style Italian cooking is remarkable. She is an amazing chef, an amazing teacher and produces a comfortable enviroment very conducive to learning and enjoying the experience as well as producing a wondeful meal in the end. All of the ingredients are locally sorced, including the Olive Oil and red wine from her beautiful 25 acre farm. If you have an opportunity to work with her do not miss out. You will be sorry if you do. It truly made our Italian vacation.

Learn to make Amazing 4 course meals in 2 hours
Wonderfully well organized by Rafaella! She taught us how to make a 4 course meal for 4 in 2 hrs. Rafaella is an amazing teacher; she is able to demonstrate all cooking skills needed and then work with you so you really can do all the recipes when you get home. Loved staying at her property with olive trees and grape vines! Enjoyed an afternoon private guided tour in Assisi and a second tour in Perugia with chocolate tasting and visiting a ceramics studio. Definitely would do again!

A wonderful experience in a beautiful place!
Me and my mother had the 5-day cooking course. We had a wonderful time! The recipes are diverse and tasteful, Reffaela’s explanations are great, very clear and easy to understand. The farm is very nice, and the afternoon activities are very interesting.

      Authentic Italian cooking experience
Raffaella is a wonderful host. She is very prepared and organized. My husband and i really enjoyed our class because it was a very authentic experience. We were welcomed into raffaellas house and spent several hours making a 4 course meal including pasta. It was very interesting discussing food and Italian life. I would highly recommend the experience.

      Great, great day
Raffealla was a phenomenal host. She is funny. She doesn't expect you to know how to cook, but doesn't treat you like a novice. It is a skill. We did the one day lesson, but I would go back to do a longer one. We were two couples with another couple and a single person who was staying there. It is really hands on. You do the work and she teaches you. Then . . . there is the feast! Eating the food you cooked with some wine. Perfect.

      Hands on!
Raffaella was warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and patient. The five-course meal we prepared and the actual sit-down luncheon exceeded expectations. We left with our aprons, the recipes and new friends (the other student couple participating). Simply lovely.

More than learning to make pasta
A true Umbrian cooking experience that far exceeded our expectations. Raffaella made us welcomed and so at ease. She expertly taught us how to cook an authentic 4 course meal that is beyond delicious. We took many notes and videos to help us remember her tips and tricks . By far the best meal we had on our 3 week vacation. Patty and I were so inspired to use what we learned and to expand our culinary adventures once we return home. So worth the trip to visit this beautiful farm and learn from a genuine authentic cooking master. A must on any visit to Umbria.

      A family experience
The experience at "Let's Cook in Umbria" was uniquely special and was, without a doubt, a highlight of my family's trip to Italy. My daughter (5 years old) and I really appreciated Raffaella's ability to task us with age appropriate and fun tasks in the meal preparation process. Whether it was snapping asparagus stalks, measuring ingredients, or kneading, rolling, and cutting pasta, my daughter was thoroughly engaged and was an integral part in making the meal. Raffaella, we can't thank you enough for crafting such an incredible experience and sharing your delicious family recipes, wine, and EVOO! -Chris and Cassady

      Novelty - but expensive
Scenic location - Need driving lesson to get there in one piece - must shoot a few local rogue drivers on the way Relaxed session - Rafaelle very good teacher - wonderful end result 4 courses in 2 hours Lot of finesse in Italian cooking if done properly we had delightful company of another polite relaxed American couple - helped put us at ease we enjoyed the lesson, chat, jokes, cooking & eating together Bit over priced for what we got - price of dinner at Michelin * restaurant thin on the vino too Oh well - price of happiness

Amazing, Personal, Educational, and Immensely Enjoyable - A MUST DO ACTIVITY!
We all agreed that this 4 hour class was the best experience we have had so far on our 2 week trip in Italy! Raffaella is such a kind, knowledgeable, welcoming, and inclusive host! She was expert at including/involving everyone in the group! We all became fast friends! The cooking class was so fun, we learned some very and exciting new tips in how to make a great pasta, cook meat in the most effective way, and how to integrate cheeses into your dishes. The lessons were easy to follow, the food was fantastic, and Raffaella and Francesca were so professional and created an amazing learning atmosphere! We definitely recommend a visit to their home!

      Excellent day in Perugia
A must do if you enjoy cooking especially Italian food. Rafella provides everything necessary to learn and eat a wonderful meal. Her tips and tricks are unbelievably helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND her experience. We added a wine tasting/ tour and a trip to pottery factory that taught us how to make your own pottery piece.

A MUST DO IF YOU HAVE A SOUL!
This was the best experience of our 7 days in Italy. Raffaella is such a welcoming host; you feel like family from the beginning. With aromas swirling in the air mixed with her classic jazz music sets the tone and pace. (She sometimes will time a procedure with a song.) When you sit down to eat your accomplishment you can't believe, "We did this?" I highly recommend you get not only a full belly but an education from this delightful experience! Grazie Raffaella...mwaaaah!

      Cooking with kids in Umbria!!
We had the best time with Rafaella in her home. We arrived with our 3 kids; age 14, 10, 7 and she immediately made us feel welcome in her home. She was so good with the kids and they loved each step of the cooking process. She was also very flexible as we asked to make a pivot at the last minute to the menu. She accommodated with no problem. We really enjoyed every part of our time with her and would highly recommend her for the cooking class.

      Fantastic Cooking in Umbria!
Raffaella is a fantastic host, teacher and person. We stayed 4 nights and had two days of lessons on how to cook in the traditional Italian style. We arrived very late due to flight issues, but Raffaella arranged for her daughter to greet us late at night and made sure we were comfortable. She taught us in her home and was so warm and welcoming. Raffaella is knowledgeable, friendly and a great teacher. She has a comprehensive understanding of local ingredients and taught us recipes passed down from her grandmother. We ate what we prepared, and it was …. Mmm Delicious! I can’t wait to try them out at home. Raffaella also had great recommendations for activities in the nearby towns (we went to Assisi and Perugia) and very accommodating of our requests. Highly recommended!

We did a cooking class on the 22nd of December and even with COVID standing in the way. We were still not disappointed.
We did this trip 3 years ago in August of 2017 hands on, and even without the fresh ingredients of Umbria, it still tasted amazing. Rafaella as always, was super nice to us. We made zucchini rolls with ricotta, homemade gnocchi with sausage, and a chocolate torte.
Prep was actually surprisingly easy and the only hard thing to do was kneading the raw pasta dough. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a true taste of Umbria.

Our son and daughter-in-law recently joined us Online for a great Online cooking class with Raffaella. It was a Christmas gift and we decided to join them. We live in two different states, it was so much fun to be able to connect with them in the kitchen. Raffaella is a very talented chef, and her instructions were clear and easy to follow.
We cooked a wonderful menu and we entertained friends for a special Italian dinner that evening.
My husband and I spent a wonderful week cooking in Raffaella's beautiful home/farm in Umbria 2 years ago. One of our best vacations ever and we are hoping to return.

Rafaella is an excellent, patient teacher of classic Umbrian cooking. In her home kitchen located in a beautiful countryside location, we made strangozzi, grape flavored pork loin, sausage and mushroom sauce, and crostata. All incredibly tasty, especially when served with her homemade rosso wine. A wonderful afternoon that was a great and fortifying break from sightseeing.

It was great fun for three family households all cooking, each in their own kitchen, with Raffaella's enthusiasm and encouragement leading to a delicious outcome. We learnt a new and easy way of making pasta shapes. The pear cake was so easy to make and so good to eat.
