- 1The Noosa River system is unique as its entire upper catchment is protected in National Park. Throughout your cruise take the opportunity to observe and photograph the unique beauty of an everglades eco system. While viewing wildlife is never guaranteed on tour, many guests have spotted a variety of bird species and several kangaroos and goannas upon returning to Habitat. “Discover an unspoiled part of Noosa - Australia’s Everglades. Pristine water full of life. Our Guide kept us consumed with the beauty of the place and the knowledge he shared was fantastic. I recommend this great half day tour to everyone!” At the end of the tour, maybe go for a walk around Habitat Noosa and maybe even spot a few of our local kangaroos before concluding a great afternoon in Australia's only Everglades.

The skipper(aka Brad Pitt) was very friendly and full of local knowledge that we found very interesting. The whole trip had a lovely relaxing feel about it. We were offered to canoe a portion of the river that we did not partake in due to injuries but it looked like so much fun that we plan to book again when feeling better so that we can join in. Beautiful and peaceful afternoon cruising over still water with wonderful reflections of the vegetation and light clouds. Skipper gave good amount of information and it was lovely when he turned the motor off a few times for us to glide peacefully over the glassy waters. Generous drinks offered onboard, wine, tea and coffee, then a nice individual cheese and dip platter on return to the base. Would highly recommend this trip.

We did the afternoon cruise to the Everglades and were most impressed with the organisation and professional approach by all staff. They were polite, punctual and personable. The experience was well worth the effort and certainly one we would recommend. The skipper was informative and able to judge the amount of information necessary, allowing us to experience the peace and serenity of the place. After tour snack was a bonus. Would thoroughly recommend this tour for both individuals and families with children.

It didn't start well with us all waiting out the front for almost 15 minutes. Finally the very nice bus driver came and spoke to us. The guide on the boat thought he was funny, and so did a handful of passengers. The majority however found his lame attempts at jokes and opinions about irrelevant things not in the least bit funny. The best part was when he stopped talking and we could actually enjoy the serenity. The river system is interesting and the reflections are beautiful but I was hoping to see more bird life. The food platter at the end of the trip was very nice.

We were lucky with the weather for our afternoon from Noosa. Information was very good as was audibility. The inclusion of an individual antipasto “box” with bubbles or/and orange juice was fantastic. This is a worthy tourism venture worth the money.

Jul 2024 • Family
We booked the tour for a family of 5, including one kid, 2 adults and 2 senior, and chose courtesy bus pickup from Noosa Heads. Unfortunately, I was misled by an email message with the incorrect Google map location, hence went to the wrong pickup place and missed the bus. Then I rang Habitat Noosa and was told "I knew you guys hadn't turned up at the pickup location, our bus has left".
So, I drove the family to the estate and spoke to the guy who's in charge of bus service, I said "you guys could have given me a call after knowing I missed the bus, what if I don't have a car? We would have missed the whole trip"; this is what he said to me "It is a problem with your phone, we have had 480 plus pickups and nobody else went to the wrong location. We are only responsible for running the shuttle bus, calling you is not my responsibility, it is all your fault!".
Let's say it is 100% my fault for missing the bus, considering how much I paid for the trip, I believe I deserve better customer service than this. At least you could have called me and discussed alternative transport after knowing I have missed the bus. Instead, your service team members were arrogant and insulting.
We have traveled around the world, this is the worst customer experience.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience Allen. We deeply regret the issues you encountered with your recent booking and the service you received. Your feedback is invaluable, and I’m truly sorry for the frustration and disappointment you experienced.
Your booking was made through a third party operator in which we request an email and phone number so we can call/text confirmation of the pickup time and location the day prior. I see there were 3 emails sent and 2 text messages from our log so we will also investigate why they were not received. Perhaps the information provided from the operator had an error.
It is concerning to hear that the incorrect Google map location led you to the wrong pickup location in which although that is outside of our control (google) we will definitely look into this further. We understand the inconvenience of missing the bus and then having to self drive to not miss the tour.
As the pickup locations are transit stops, they only allow 2 minutes to board customers and depart. Unfortunately because of this restriction, the driver cannot call customers that are not at the stop. Please be assured we will look into ways to better manage this process.
Customer service is extremely important to use and I regret that the discussions you had with our team did not meet the level of service you deserved. Please be assured this is not the standard we aim to uphold and we will be addressing this issue internally to ensure that our staff are more responsive and understanding in similar situations.
Please feel free to contact me directly at bdm@ecoqld.com should you wish to discuss further.
Thank you once again for bringing this to our attention. We hope to have the opportunity to restore your faith in our services.
Sincerely,
Kelly C (Everglades Eco Safaris)

Our skipper gave a very informative commentary during our cruise. The everglades are unique in the Southern hemisphere and situated about a 30 minute drive from Noosa. A complimentary glass of bubbly was also appreciated. The purpose built boat negotiated the shallow waters of the lake before entering the creek that leads to the everglades.
Unlike Florida i cannot report on resident crocs/alligators in the tranquil Noosa Everglades

The scenery was wonderful and the organization fine. However, we were surprised and disappointed by the refreshments at the end of the tour. Advertising said there was to be an 'Antipasto Banquet' included. Banquet would be a serious overstatement, as the platter consisted of a few dry biscuits, some greens and a couple of cheeses. I asked if there were coffee or the like available and found that after paying $79 for each of our tickets, I was required to pay for a cup of coffee. That smacked of meanness. Unfortunately, this experience left us disappointed and not inclined to recommend this company to friends.

For the serenity afternoon cruise we provide tea/coffee on the boat and the tasting platter on conclusion (cheese/dips/biscuits). None of our advertising lists a banquet so I will need to investigate further as to where this was listed. The Eco Cruise - full day includes morning tea and lunch but Serenity is just a tasting plate.

We set off into a rain shower which looked set to ruin the tour, but fortunately cleared perfectly just as we entered the Everglades.
Peter, our tour guide/skipper was great fun and informative. He pointed out many various aspects of the Everglades as we passed through, even reversing the boat to view some blue kingfishers (birds) at one stage. Certainly an informative and relaxing cruise through a rare and unique area of Australia.
Getting us all back to the dock with just enough time to shelter from a huge tropical storm that we could all see heading our way, was very much appreciated too!! Well done Peter. Thank you.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to leave a review of our Serenity Tour.
We love our skippers and they love educating our guests about the region. We have such a unique eco system here in the Noosa Everglades and are happy to show it off.
Our skippers will always do their best to accommodate our guests when bad weather hits.
Thank you for travelling with us and we hope to see you again soon.

We did the cruise on a lovely sunny afternoon and the reflections were amazing. Both our pick-up driver and cruise guide were friendly and informative. At the end of the cruise we enjoyed the complimentary cheese plate snack with a glass of wine/beer from the bar ( not complimentary). Beautiful setting and lovely way to spend an afternoon.

Hi I was just wondering if this also offers a concession/student card price as well? And if so, how much are the tickets?
Written August 29, 2019
Looking at the website - can’t see a student concession . Seniors are $4 less than the $79 adult fare. You may be able to negotiate . Good value for money even at the full price.
