This was such a fun experience. Graeme did a wonderful job conveying his knowledge of the region in a fun and entertaining way and his love for nature could be felt throughout the tour. We enjoyed the beautiful Karri trees in the forests, the adventurous drive over the white sand dunes down to the coast where the Warren River runs into the Southern Ocean as well as a lovely home made lunch by the lake. This tour was the highlight of our stay in Pemberton and we warmly recommend it to anyone coming through here. Thank you!

We booked the half day national parks eco tour, we had looked at the photos and reviews but we didn't 100% know what to expect. Our tour guide was great, really friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone was able to ask lots of questions and feel comfortable asking them which is always good. The guide also had a sense of humour which is always appreciated. We had time to get out and explore at each section of the tour (we took loads of photos). It was great to go 'off the beaten track' and see things you wouldnt dream of attempting to access if your own car. We were shown lots of flowers and trees and wildlife. We also tried Snottygobble. Lunch was provided by the local bakery.. and their sandwiches are just fantastic. Overall, a great way to spend half a day.

We did had a fabulous day with Graeme doing a 1/2 day tour with a lovely group. There were so many highlights - the magnificent scenery, fun 4WD'ing, Graeme's fabulous work as our guide and the ability to jump out and explore a pristine part of Australia. It was exceptionally good value and I highly recommend this your to people visiting the region

After having to postpone our original booking due to a lockdown, Toni from Pemberton Discovery Tours made it easy to rebook to the next month. Despite it being a rainy day, the Beach & Eco Forest Adventure didn't disappoint, being able to see the magnificent and changing scenery of Karri forests, the Yeagarup dunes and onto Yeagarup beach all within a 4 hour 4wd tour. Graeme had great knowledge of the area, was easy to talk to and an experienced 4wd driver. And the feijoa's were an extra treat! A great local business sharing places usually out of reach for many.

We had a fabulous time with Graeme on our work team building weekend and he was so knowledgable and kind and we loved every minute of it. We really enjoyed it and we would highly recommend this tour as seeing the sand dunes in the middle of the dense forrest was amazing. He even took some fabulous photos for us.

Graeme takes you through the pick of the Karri forest, then guides you, with informative commentary, safely through the potentially rough tracks to the Yeagerup Dunes, which are massive. There is time to wander through the dunes and then onto the beach, where you could have a swim. The ocean was rough and not recommended. The mouth of the Warren River is calm, if you wanted to cool off in summer. The photographic opportunities are endless. The meat and salad rolls with coffee finished off the day! Highly recommended tour of out of reach regions.

This tour was offered by the resort we were staying in, which is how we came to book it. Best idea ever!!
The tour was easy to book and it was easy to find the starting point in Pemberton. We were greeted by genuinely friendly staff who organised us quickly and efficiently.
The tour started on time. As we drove the main roads to the entry to the national park, it quickly became apparent that our tour guide Graham was not just a tour guide. His knowledge of the local environmental and the issues impacting it impressed me. He was obviously very passionate about conserving the national park but understood the need to keep it available to people who wanted to enjoy its natural beauty without further damaging it. He obviously had a deep understanding of the interrelated parts of the local ecosystem.
The tour was adventurous and we saw some incredible scenery. Tall and statuesque Karri, Marri and Jarrah trees, lush forests, rolling landlocked white sands dunes and wide, white sandy beaches going for miles. We saw sunset on the beach with the sound of waves crashing on the shore. Then back to the forest campsite for afternoon tea, which consisted of tea, coffee and delicious home cooked baked goods.
The trip out there and back was a 4WD dream. In the very back of the vehicle it felt like we were in a theme ride :) It was quite exhilarating! Graham was a really skilled driver.
So wholeheartedly recommend taking this trip if you are in the Pemberton area, you will not regret choosing this tour!

Wow! Thank you so much for such a wonderful tour review!
If reviews get a review this is definitely 5 star.
It was such a pleasure hosting you both post-Covid in these trying times. We are all taking babysteps towards an uncertain future. What we do know is that we are incredibly fortunate to live here and have the privilege to show people like yourselves through these amazing National Parks right on our doorstep.
Thank you for supporting our business and please stay in touch!

This was a wonderful morning out through the wilds of pristine Pemberton Karri Forest and sand dunes ending up on a remote beach. Graeme was really lovely, knowledgeable and very conscious of and committed to making minimum impact on the environment. The trees and wildflowers were beautiful and the sand dunes impressive. Some of the group even slid down on some dunes. It was a dream of my very elderly mother to do this tour and Graeme made sure she was as comfortable as possible even though we drove through some very bumpy country. There was a range of people on the tour from 11 Years old through to my mum and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and we had a few laughs. I would go on another tour offered by this company and highly recommend it to others.

This was simply an awesome day with so much to see that you would never get the opportunity to otherwise. Starting with Graeme giving the history of the early settlers and the clearing of the giant trees and seeing the way them have survived and been managed and then going to the dunes rolling over these very same giants was spectacular. The dunes are incredible and lead out onto the pristine waters near the mount of of the Warren River. This trip was the best half day tour we've ever done and very very good value - and a scrumptious afternoon tea before we headed home topped off a fantastic day. Thankyou!

Excellent 1/2 day 4WD tour of the forest and Yeagerup Dunes and beach, accessing areas you can't normally get to in a car. The scenery is spectacular and Graeme is very knowledgeable and obviously really cares about the environment and very easy to talk to. It was my partner's birthday so we really appreciate he took us out even though there were only the two of us, so it made the day even more special having a private tour. And Toni was great with communication, getting back to us promptly, making the booking easy. And the morning tea was yummy with home made biscuits and muffins! Definitely recommend this tour to see the beautiful scenery of this special part of WA.
