Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- markrR347ID0 contributionsDunes to the Southern OceanWe had the best experience and it was our 2nd time, as we did it in 2004 with Graeme. Our boys still talk about it, our 4 other friends loved every bit of it. It's a must, also Toni made the booking so easy. Thankyou again Toni and GraemeWritten June 11, 2024
- LondonAnnie410 contributionsAn area of beautyGraeme was fabulous. He took us places that I will never forget and drove the dunes so well. I loved the whole experience but would have loved it more if Graeme had concentrated more on the paying guests and had not had his time taken up by a local. Unfortunately this spoilt the magic of the dayWritten April 29, 2024
- X6710YQalisonw0 contributionsWonderful experienceA great way to see an incredible part of WA that you can't do by 2WD. Graeme was very accommodating and knowledgeable, a lovely day out, we will come again with our next visitors!Written January 6, 2024
- IreneSah0 contributionsDefinitely a must do!Driving through the Karri Forest onto the sand dunes then to the beach where the river meets the ocean. An incredible experience that no words can describe. We were a family of 9 adults with 4 toddlers. We did a short walk in the Karri Forest. Our guide, Graeme was friendly and knowledgeable. The 4WD ride was awesome. The highlight was definitely the drive from the sand dunes to the beach. Even the kids enjoyed it. Highly recommended!Written October 12, 2023
- JCKrev0 contributionsDelightful dunes trip - great tourThank you Graeme for a fantastic trip to the dunes through the beautiful forest, a great experience which we will never forget. Loved the Anzac biscuits on the way back … We would thoroughly recommend this tour.Written April 24, 2023

- B8269FCgaild0 contributionsFantastic adventureIf you love adventure and enjoy seeing unique and magnificent landscapes by 4WD rough-roading it, I highly recommend Pemberton Discovery Tours full day adventure to places including Lake Jasper and Black Point. My husband and I were lucky to be on tour with just 3 others and we loved every minute of it. Graeme, our tour guide, was 'just right.' He was friendly, inclusive to all of us, sought out our interests and let us all know that this was a tour for us and he was happy to allow time for our explorations and constant questions. In 50+ years of travelling, I rate his guiding as triple A. His driving is nothing short of amazing. And, oh the places we saw.Written December 9, 2022
- Ron C0 contributionsPemberton Lodge is the perfect group base for staying in PembertonOur group, the Munda Buddies, are 8 school mates who have been riding sections of the Munda Biddi on an annual week-long trip, this being our third year. Based out of the Lodge, we did rides from Pemberton to Northcliffe and Quinninup and then from Manjimup to Quinninup to complete the local sections. The Lodge was the perfect setup for our group especially being able to cook in-house including a BBQ, plus the competitive fun of the mini golf. Location is great, including the uphill walk to earn dinner at the pub ! We will be looking for a return visit as the sections we rode are some of the best on the Trail.Written October 23, 2022
- Q9423ADjoed0 contributionsBrilliant Bibbulmun transfersFor any Bibbulmun transfers, you really could not get better than Toni and Graeme. They are both excellent local guides and very knowledgeable about the Bibbulmun track and surrounding area. Even though we needed to enter the track at difficult locations, their trusted 4x4 and in-depth local knowledge meant we got exactly to the right spot every time. They were very informative, friendly, helpful and made the walks even more special. We could not recommend them more.Written June 7, 2022
- R5721XHdanielled0 contributionsA must do!A great fun day for the whole family! We had 4 children under the age of 7, our parents and our in-laws visiting from South Africa. Graeme and Toni were extremely accomodating and friendly! The tour was by far one of the best we have experienced. It was an exciting adventure for us all, and Graeme kept it entertaining, fun and interesting! I have highly recommended their tour to all our friends and family, and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.Written April 25, 2022

- Elenischoice0 contributionsA Warren River Dream turned to RealityAlthough we have a 4 WD it was just great going on this tour to the Yeagerup Dunes and mouth of the Warren River with an experienced and competent driver and tour leader - thank you Graeme and Toni for organising a very special day out! It’s something I’d been dreaming about doing for over 50 years and just wonderful to realise my dream in a very comfortable way! Highly recommended. It’s such a pristine part of WA.Written October 30, 2021

Was awesome to get access to the Yearagup Dunes and beach as part of our 4wd tour. Highly recommend this trip.Written April 18, 2021
- RP08150 contributions10 out of 10 for Black point Eco Adventure TourEvery element of the tour was fantastic, the Goblin swamp, Lake Jasper and Black Point and the stunning hexagonal basalt Columns near by. We managed to get close to the columns and took a few fantastic shots. Graeme, owner and tour guide, was very engaging and shared interesting facts about the area. He has also a vast knowledge of the local fauna and flora. We were lucky to find a small colony of Slipper Orchids near Lake Jasper. And on the beach Graeme spotted a pair of Hooded Plover. We had an amazing day and we will definitely recommend this tour. Thanks again for a great time we won't forget.Written January 12, 2021
- Col-T560 contributionsIncredible 4wd tourWe went on the 1/2 day dunes tour with Graeme. Incredible trip through and over these massive inland dunes until you reach the beach. Have to pay a compliment to Graeme’s driving, you do start to wonder if some of the dunes are navigable, but he made it seem a breeze. We all had great time and would highly recommend.Written November 23, 2020

This was such a fun experience. Graeme did a wonderful job conveying his knowledge of the region in a fun and entertaining way and his love for nature could be felt throughout the tour. We enjoyed the beautiful Karri trees in the forests, the adventurous drive over the white sand dunes down to the coast where the Warren River runs into the Southern Ocean as well as a lovely home made lunch by the lake. This tour was the highlight of our stay in Pemberton and we warmly recommend it to anyone coming through here. Thank you!

We booked the half day national parks eco tour, we had looked at the photos and reviews but we didn't 100% know what to expect. Our tour guide was great, really friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone was able to ask lots of questions and feel comfortable asking them which is always good. The guide also had a sense of humour which is always appreciated. We had time to get out and explore at each section of the tour (we took loads of photos). It was great to go 'off the beaten track' and see things you wouldnt dream of attempting to access if your own car. We were shown lots of flowers and trees and wildlife. We also tried Snottygobble. Lunch was provided by the local bakery.. and their sandwiches are just fantastic. Overall, a great way to spend half a day.

Me and my boyfriend had a really good time at this tour. Graeme was very experienced, nice and funny!
We started off by going to the karri-forest, and having Graemes knowledge gave us so much more than just going there on our own. He could tell us facts about the forest we wouldn’t get otherwise.
Then we went to the sand dunes which was really cool! It felt very safe having Graeme driving us in the 4WD car, which is the only way to get there. Same goes with the stop at the beach, we were completely alone on one of the most stunning beaches I’ve ever seen!
On each stop, we got plenty of time to enjoy the nature and having a good chat with our guide.
The lunch was fresh and good as well! The whole experience felt authentic, and I would recommend it to both couples, families or single-travelers!
Thank you Graeme!

Graeme takes you through the pick of the Karri forest, then guides you, with informative commentary, safely through the potentially rough tracks to the Yeagerup Dunes, which are massive. There is time to wander through the dunes and then onto the beach, where you could have a swim. The ocean was rough and not recommended. The mouth of the Warren River is calm, if you wanted to cool off in summer. The photographic opportunities are endless. The meat and salad rolls with coffee finished off the day! Highly recommended tour of out of reach regions.

This is a must if you’re in the region. From the magnificence of the ancient Karri forests to the contrast of the largest land locked dunes in the Southern Hemisphere be prepared to be mesmerised at every turn. Graham’s passion for the region is heartfelt-be aware though...this is a genuine 4WD experience, complete with bone crunching jolts, tight tracks, and tight turns...but let’s face it, that’s what you want! Fantastic!

Excellent 1/2 day 4WD tour of the forest and Yeagerup Dunes and beach, accessing areas you can't normally get to in a car. The scenery is spectacular and Graeme is very knowledgeable and obviously really cares about the environment and very easy to talk to. It was my partner's birthday so we really appreciate he took us out even though there were only the two of us, so it made the day even more special having a private tour. And Toni was great with communication, getting back to us promptly, making the booking easy. And the morning tea was yummy with home made biscuits and muffins! Definitely recommend this tour to see the beautiful scenery of this special part of WA.

We had a fabulous time with Graeme on our work team building weekend and he was so knowledgable and kind and we loved every minute of it. We really enjoyed it and we would highly recommend this tour as seeing the sand dunes in the middle of the dense forrest was amazing. He even took some fabulous photos for us.

This was simply an awesome day with so much to see that you would never get the opportunity to otherwise. Starting with Graeme giving the history of the early settlers and the clearing of the giant trees and seeing the way them have survived and been managed and then going to the dunes rolling over these very same giants was spectacular. The dunes are incredible and lead out onto the pristine waters near the mount of of the Warren River. This trip was the best half day tour we've ever done and very very good value - and a scrumptious afternoon tea before we headed home topped off a fantastic day. Thankyou!

The half day Forest and Dunes tour was fabulous, beautiful drive and walk through the forest and the sight when you reach the top of the dune was incredible. Toni was really helpful with the booking and Graeme was a wonderful tour guide. His concern for the native wildlife and birds was inspiring. Highly recommend this tour.

Written February 20, 2019
With young children (assuming they are older than 4) it's a great trip, we had children on our tour and they loved it.
