About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- bradleyo8150 contributionsTour was well worth it!Our guide, Nigel, was entertaining and also gave us a lot of information about the areas we were traveling through. He kept our interest by telling us local sayings, phrases and history. Nigel took us to the picturesque areas of blue mountains as well as some off the beaten path stops.Written March 19, 2025
- lisapS6953ZB0 contributionsAmazing day with wildlife, waterfalls and hiking! We had a fantastic day with Ben, our driver and guide. He was very knowledgeable, engaging and all his recommendations were excellent. He provided water for the hiking, use of rain ponchos for the drizzly parts of the day and interesting fun facts throughout the days activities. At the wildlife park, you are able to feed the kangaroos (there is an albino kangaroo too) view koalas, penguins, Tasmanian devil, dingoes, variety of native birds, reptiles and wombats. Due to the small group, we were able to fit in extra sight seeing. What a wonderful way to spend the day…up in the Blue Mountains!Written March 12, 2025

- 524margas0 contributionsA beautiful dayWhat an inspiring guide Ben is! He gave so much info about Sydney, the surroundings and the blue mountains. We were with a nice group, only 8 people (plus Ben) and the weather was excellent until we were in the bus on our way back. I forgot my hat and Ben ws so nice to bring it to the hotel the next day, many thanks!Written February 24, 2025
- Companion324853264490 contributionsA perfect day on the mountainsOur tour guide. Mark, was amazing! He was a font of knowledge about the beautiful country of Australia! He showed us the highlights on our blue mountains tour and was able to easily adapt when we encountered trail closures and rainy weather. We learned so much about the flora and fauna of the area and had some incredible hiking experiences. The stop at the featherdale zoo was fantastic! We were able to pet and feed animals that we'd only read about in books before our visit. This small group tour was the best part of our trip to Sydney so far!Written February 11, 2025

- Ralph_MB0 contributionsExcellent Scenic Day Trip From SydneyOut of the four guided tours we’ve done in Australia, this was by far the best. Our guide Mark was excellent. He kept us informed, provided us good background on Australia, took us on a good vigorous walk, and was entertaining. He also has a good voice for being a guide. The Blue Mountains are scenic, like the US Grand Canyon but with vegetation and a waterfall or two. The Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park is very good; much better than the equivalent park we stopped at outside of Melbourne. The whole day was well scheduled and each stop was worthwhile, but we could have spent longer than the allocated hour at the wildlife sanctuary. The sightseeing walk at the canyon wasn’t aerobically challenging but was a bit of a hurdle for old people with bad knees, which we knew going in, but the scenery was overwhelmingly worth the discomfort. Leura is a really good lunch stop.Written January 23, 2025
- M5527BQcatherinen0 contributionsBlue Moutain and FeatherdaleGood tour. Knowledgable guide. Maybe a little too much non-stop talking on the drive back. Great walks throughout Blue Mtns and informative stop in Featherdale. Good lunch stop in mountain town.Written January 17, 2025

- olij20250 contributionsOverpriced for sight seeingBlue Mountains are beautiful but for the cost of this trip and "luxury" name you expect a bit more differentiation compared to the standard tours. Fair to say that we were visiting at the busiest period of the year and so it was very busy but hard to say this trip does anything different than the cheaper alternatives. We were taken to a very busy wildlife park and the busiest town nearby for lunch. Tour guide was friendly and competent but didn't really demonstrate much knowledge on the blue mountains and limited "guiding", just driving, pointing out good spots for pictures and making some jokes. Advanced warning for those wanting to hike: this trip visits the busiest sections of blue mountains mostly for a quick picture rather than true trekking/exploring. In total we walked 2km in an hour, otherwise trying to find a spot to see the view in crowds of other tour groups. We were also required to take a taxi to an hotel 30 minutes from our accommodation, even though the trip asks for your pick up address. They did compensate us in the end but it's just an additional faff which undermines the "luxury" claim. Overall this is a costly way to see blue mountains, it seems better to self guide and do a proper hike.Written January 6, 2025

- 573jaysm0 contributionsWhat a day out!A brilliant day out in the mountains. The view is beautiful and you go really deep into the valley. It can be done of anyone with good fitness and is worth the long hike. Patricia is a wonderful guide, kept us on track and the whole day was full of stories.Written January 5, 2025

- Jennifer C0 contributionsBeauty, knowledge and activity.Mark was a wonderful guide. He is knowledgeable and convivial. He was in touch with what the group liked and able to adjust to those likes. Ie. Enjoying Featherdale so we had a few more minutes to enjoy and just had a slightly shorter lunch. He was proud of the Australian history and evolution. We learned about plants, animals, aborigines, settlers, government and the mountain range. My 10 year old was on the tour and she also enjoyed the information he shared. We got to do some light bush hiking and see wonderful views and a waterfall. He seemed to care and really wanted us to enjoy the experience. Which we did very much. It is one of the highlights of our trip.Written December 22, 2024

Great day out with friends for my husbands 50th. Craig was amazing, he made recommendations for wineries to visit and also let me shape our day. Nothing was too hard. All our wine tastings were per-booked by Craig and he ensured that we were on time and the day went smoothly
The van was very clean and tidy.
I would definitely recommend Craig to anyone looking for a simple and easy organised day..

Fantastic day out. Craig made all of us feel welcome and relaxed. He organised an excellent tour, reserving tastings at some excellent wineries and an excellent distillery ( Hunter Valley Distillery). Starting in the pretty town of Wollombi, good coffee at general store and then a Dr Jurds tasting at the rustic, old Wollombi Tavern. Got us off to a flying start.
Off to our first winery. Warm welcome and so nice having our own table and space to do the tasting. Everything ran smoothly and no pressure felt. We had music and a singalong On the bus. I highly recommend touring with Sydney Adventure Tours. The minibus is so comfortable and Craig is an excellent driver. We will be back.

Great Hunter Valley office Christmas party tour. We liked it so much last year that we booked with Craig again this year. Everything is easy and relaxed. Craig is a pleasure to deal with.
