We are SO GLAD we booked this tour to fly over the Great Barrier Reef! It was a great way to see this wonder! We saw many different areas of the reef. I was surprised that you can see so much from a plane! We felt very safe, and it was a smooth ride. We were on a cruise but booked directly with Viator, so the price was great, too. Thank you!

Really cool experience viewing the ocean, clear day viewed sting and mantle rays , saw turtles and a shark from 500ft. Absolutely beautiful to view green island and the reef. Highly recommend pretty amazing to see the rainforest and the reef.

Our family of 7 enjoyed the 2 day adventure with Whitsunday Sailing. Our first day was on the Bullet with Shannon, Ritchie and Will enjoying the beaches, walk to the outlook and snorkeling. They were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about what we were seeing. The lunch was great as well as the snacks. It is hard to put in words the breadth and magic of this experience. The reef doesn't disappoint and White Haven Beach is clearly one of the best in the world. The crew made sure everyone was enjoying the experience. We had a three year old and they were nicely inactive and helpful to ensure he had a good experience. What a fabulous day! The second day we flew over the reef. Eddy was our chauffeur, tour guide and all round great guy who got us to and from the airport. Rowan is an excellent pilot who ensured we were ready to fly and see everything we could. Some of us had never been in a small aircraft and marvelled at the smooth takeoffs and landings. No need to worry as this is safe and secure. Again, it is had to describe the wonder of flying over the reef. If you can manage to make this part of your holiday, don't hesitate. It is something you will never forget. The staff on both these tours should be commended for their professionalism and attention to guests needs.

A good trip seeing several reefs and then over Port Douglas.Can see rays and larger fish. Pilot great. Perhaps renew the headsets as quite worn and faulty. Leak noise too. Great overall though.

What an amazing experience form beggining to end. The team at GSL were amazing from making our reservation to arranging pickups and the experience itself over the reef was breath taking. Everyone at GSL went above and beyond, and provided top class service with a lifetime experience. 5 stars highly recommend.

A great experience, I love that the service is personalised and that the team picks you up at your accommodation place and either returns you back to the origina place or offers to drop you off at another stop to continue with your activities. A great team, very friendly and professional at all times. I would definitely do it again.

Our flight over the Great Barrier Reef out of Cairns 🇦🇺 was amazing! A little bit more expensive than their competitors, but they had last minute availability. After our 40 min flight, I found out that they had a 60 min tour as well. If their booking agent would have made this known to me, I would have opted for the longer flight. Our pilot, Spencer was the best!

I booked the flight in February 2024 - A day before the actual flight in May 2024 - received a cancellation email, with a refund promised. I have been chasing my $600 AUD refund ever since. I will be consulting legal advice on how I can make a refund possible. Total and absolute fraudsters. Please take my device and do not use this company.

GSL was great, the views were insane of the reefs, the workers were really nice and knowledgable and commentate interesting facts during the flight. They were really accommodating because our flight to Cairns got cancelled so we would have missed the GSL tour but they switched us to another flight within the 24h period. Overall really recommend this unique and special experience to see the reefs from above!

We booked the flight & Green Island package, with glass bottom boat. It was an excellent experience - definitely worth it.

We booked a 40 minute scenic flight in combination with a snorkeltour of the Great Barrier Reef at the website of GSL Aviation. The scenic flight was incredible. We got a free transfer to the airport. Which was only a 15 minute ride. After a brief safety instruction it was time to get in the plane. It is a very small aircraft with 6 seats. Because of this everyone gets great views. The pilot was professional and we were impressed by his flying skills. The flight was really nice. We didn’t had any turbulence. The views were amazing despite it was a cloudy day. We even spotted several turtles. I would definitly recommand the scenic flight of GSL Aviation. It was the highlight of our trip.

I booked the Reef Hopper Scenic Flight over the Great Barrier Reef in Cairns. Before my flight I wrote two emails and tried calling several times as I had questions regarding the organisation. I only received an answer to one of my mails and no one picked up the phone. I had no information about my pickup time until the morning of the flight even though a confirmation mail was supposed to go out few days prior to departure and haven’t received an answer to my second email. Pickup was 15 Minutes late, which can happen but it would have been good to call and let me know. Unfortunately, there was a seat broken on the plane, which is why my flight had to be rescheduled for one later in the afternoon. Of course, not the crew’s fault but didn’t make my experience with GSL aviation better. The flight was great and I enjoyed it even though you’re pretty much crammed into a very small airplane. Overall it was a very nice and friendly crew but organisation and the situation was not good.

Our flight was cancelled due to bad weather conditions, no bad comments for that, of course safety first. The problem was first of all, that nobody contacted us via email, we only knew once we were in the GSL Terminal at the estipulated time, it was closed and about 10 minutes later someone came and told us the flight was cancelled. He gave us the option to reschedule but it was impossible for us because 3 hours later we flew to Darwin, so he told us that a refund would be made. I have writen three emails and 10 days after that happenned haven’t receive any notice of the refund
