We thoroughly enjoyed our morning tour of the beautiful Lake Argyle. Nice open clean, roomy boat. Mitch, our captain and guide was very knowledgeable about the lake, it’s history and geography and provided all the information with a touch of humour. He clearly loves the lake and sharing his knowledge. Nice stops including, crocs, fish and a swim. Mitch didn’t rush the tour. Highly recommend this friendly, family run company as you can also get through to make your bookings in advance so less chance of missing out.

Despite it being unseasonably cold, our guide for the day, Mitch, managed to tick off all of the wildlife experiences (crocs, wallabies, fish, birds and spiders). Mitch had us laughing with funny anecdotes while at the same time sharing his immense knowledge of the lake.

This is a must do experience if you want to get some level of feel for the awesome size of this man made lake.

Our lunch cruise was wonderful. Jacques and Bree did a great job of showing us around the Lake, dam wall, the rock wallabies, fish feeding, croc spotting and the scenery. Wow! They also informed us on the area which was very inreresting.

The swim followed by lunch of BBQ fresh fish topped off a wonderful cruise. Drinks throughout were included and we were well looked after.

Remember to take your togs and camera.

A wonderful morning spent listening to Cameron share his knowledge and seeing all the areas of interest around the lake. It was a fascinating look at our history in this region, and we were able to see freshwater crocodiles, quite a few birds, rock wallabies, spitting fish and some of our tour group enjoyed a swim before we returned to the jetty.
Well done Lake Argyle Cruises, value for money.

Beautiful morning of the lake, great for kids. Got to stop and feed the archer fish (they are very accurate) and remember to bring a towel as you get to jump in for a dip. Knowledgeable guide who gave a run down of the history of the lake

We had a great morning cruise as a family of four - saw crocodiles, snake, rock wallaby's; kids enjoyed feeding the archer fish. Captain was friendly, knowledgable and funny. High recommended and lake was spectacular!

Had a wonderfully informative, scenic morning cruise with Cameron. We saw rock wallabies, archer fish and freshwater crocodiles - among other things. From the bus trip down to the launch area and back again the whole trip was so enjoyable. Highly recommend this cruise - excellent value for money.

Stunning morning, beautiful views of Lake Argyle, lovely informative host.
Magical moments on the lake for us, stopping to observe the short eared rock wallabies the mob of 5 were just as curious as us, bouncing around on the rock shelves trying to get a closer look! Further into the lake we saw many freshwater croc’s on the banks and in the water off some of the islands, best off all was arriving near the Archer fish and their mate croc who was more intent on goggling eye the passengers on the boat then taking in breakfast of delicious fat fish! He just swam and logged along next to our boat! I truly amazed, before we docked the boat the captain stopped the boat for other passengers to have a quick dip in the pristine lake … apparently it was a bit ‘fresh and cold’! Thank you so much for an unbelievable morning on Lake Argyle!

We went on the morning lunch tour on lake argyle which was great. You go up river and get some history of the dam and information on the all the animals that are in the river. You stop on a little beach where you can have a swim and have a beautiful lunch. I think this tour is better then the sunset o as you get lunch and you can swim from the back of the boat or off the beach as with the sunset one you can only swim from the back of the boat and only nibs. But both tours are great.
